1. Meredith attending the lethal injection: Creepy or compassionate?
McCritic: Creepy. Whether or not you believe in the death penalty, actually attending such an event - for someone you've known for mere days - goes beyond dark and twisty, Mer.
missingBurke: Creepy, although everything happens for a reason. Maybe it took this to get Cristina and Meredith on speaking terms again, in which case it would be worth it.
iheartizzie: Creepy. One wonders why Meredith would possibly take him up on that offer. The girl is a glutton for emotional punishment. Thank goodness she has Derek now.
2. Is Denny finally gone?!?
iheartizzie: We pretty much know that he's not, since they tell us these things in advance now. Months in advance. I think my greatest problem with this story (besides it making no sense) is how blatantly they try to string it along. I must say, though, that Katherine Heigl and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have great chemistry. Maybe they should co-star in a Ghost remake.
McCritic: I can't even think about that question at the moment. Izzie is sick?!? I totally didn't see that coming!
missingBurke: Not according to some of the Grey's Anatomy spoilers we've read. Sounds like Denny will remain by Izzie's side as she goes through her ailment.
3. Better performance: Chandra Wilson or Samantha Mathis (Jackson's mother)?
missingBurke: Gotta be a tie. Both those actresses can turn on the water works with the best of them!
McCritic: Chandra Wilson. Mathis was great, but Dr. Bailey went through a range of emotions this week, from angry to confused to sorrowful and everything in between. Hand her an Emmy!
iheartizzie: Chandra. She's awesome. Wilson and Sandra Oh are the show's glue, and deserve their perennial Emmy consideration. Mathis' role deserves praise, though - a recurring character that the show didn't run out of town under controversial circumstances. What a feat!
4. Lexie Grey: Great girlfriend or the greatest girlfriend?
McCritic: Just a great girlfriend. While her concern over Mark was adorable, let's remember she did still break his penis. Ouch!
iheartizzie: The best. Girlfriends show up and strip for you, asking you to "teach" them. But cuddling up to Mark like that in his time of need? After breaking the very thing that makes Mark Sloan Mark Sloan? That's what keepers do.
missingBurke: I still like Mark and Callie better in terms of chemistry and overall interaction, but Lexipedia is growing on me a little each week, I must admit!
5. Got any words for George O'Malley?
iheartizzie: Bet you wish you'd taken that transfer to Mercy West right now, eh?
missingBurke: Hang in there, buddy. If characters keep dropping out of the show at this rate, there's gotta be a storyline for you at some point.
McCritic: Are you angry that Izzie keeps talking about her love for Denny? I thought she told you that you were her soulmate!

I have to say that I think it would be creepy for me, but it didn't seem a stretch for Meredith. She wanted him, even though he did horrible things, to have someone with him when it was done. As she said to Derek, she could not understand it herself, but I think it kind of made sense for her to go. And, it ended up getting her and Cristina back together. So, it all worked out in the end!

Ugh what is with all the critics suddenly praising Slexiepuke. Are you getting paid for this by the show since they see everyone hates the couple?
Izzie was so devastated when George wanted to leave for Mercy West, now she couldn't care less about him, the man who was her ebst friend from day 1.
Excuse me, while I go cry. I miss Gizzie.

I would just like to point out that the whole storyline with Izzie seeing Denny because she has a brain thing (or whatever the crappity crap they're trying to peddle as a justification for that...) was already done, 2 years ago on General Hospital. One of the guys on the show had a tumor and started seeing his dead girlfriend as a result, and in the end he had to choose to keep the tumor and die (but still see said dead gf) or have it removed and never see her again.
Now, I'm not a big believer in rating shows as being better or worse based on genre, but GH actually had people go to the moon in the 1970s. The moon. Is that really where we want our show to end up?

Well last week, two of George scenes were in the ABC recap. They had one with George seeing Izzie talk to herself, and since that was one of the ABC game question and nobody saw Izzie talk to herself and it was in the recap. The recap also had Lexie telling George to rent her room. None of those scenes aired, so it is clear they got cut.
And yeah I thought the mods here loved George, so enough with the stupid jokes. I don't find it funny that a great actor is getting treated that way.

Seems to me that ABC is trying to take the Eli Stone storyline and transfer it to Izzy's storyline. I absolutely loved Eli Stone and am sorry that the show was pulled. I think they could come up with something new here...i used to really like Izzy but now see her as weak. We are all damaged in some way or another but weakness was not a part of Izzy's personality.

Mark and Lexie are incest and so so wrong. They make me barf.
What they are doing to George is anything but funny. You should be criticizing it, not laughing at it. Poor TR gets no respect from the show or the critics.

Gosh, isn't Izzy dead? Weren't those her organs used for the little boy? Denny came FOR her...he came to escort her out of this world, that's what I think happened.

I think was a little bit creepy and compasive at the same time.
I like how Dereck didn´t leave Meredith when disaproved her decission and even helped her, very different than the past.
I didn´t understand very well.. Did Meredith told him something like She wanted to show him she was compasive or not?
Could someone traslate me that part pls?
On the other hand, I´m very happy Cristina and Meredith are going to be good friends again.
