i think callie and mark would be an amazing couple. the writers are trying to act like callie isn't attracted to mark but she's been sleeping with him since season three in the begining. they work the best. george and lexie need to be together, because its the closest thing to gizzie on the show.

Great to see that Callie has so much as forgotten that Erica ever existed in the first place.
So, The PDR patient has multiple stab wounds and was beaten serverely. He must have committed a visous crime against a child or children. But it does not matter what he did.
It's not their call to judge. He will be judged by a higher power than them. I don't know why they are burning energy worrying about if they should treat him or not and what he did or didnot do.
All the Dr's have to do is treat him and send him on his way.
The case does look intriguing.

I somewhat agree with you, ILOVEELLENPOMPEO. What makes me so irritated about the Lexie/Mark thing is that she was so into George one episode, Sadie is all "zomg i tnk Mark lykes u lol", so Lexie jumps in bed with him when she, for what I can remember, had more of a somewhat, kinda not really friendship with him before.
Does that make sense? I don't think it does. She really, really likes George. She said that she adores him. Did you see how she regretted turning him away from the intern society?
So why would she want to get with McSteamy, who is most likely not capable with holding a real relationship with someone?
Really, I think the writers need to watch the first and last episode of each season and see what we're seeing. I find more enjoyment with rewatching seasons one and two episodes than newer ones.
If the writers want to keep and get more ratings to make this the number one show to watch again, here's my input:
1) Quit bringing in freaking guest stars and incorperating them into storylines for more than two episodes. We already have a fine, talented cast. We don't need more people to take away air time from characters we love.
2) Give more time to the original cast. Whatever happened to our fab five residents that were originally called interns? I want to see less interns and more residents. I want to see Meredith and Cristina bonding like they used to and having fun, I want George and Izzie to be bset friends again, and I want Alex to start to reform that somewhat sisterly bond he was beginning to have with Meredith. Remember that from the middle of season two?
3) Work on relationships. Gizzie was, believe it or not, popular. Just because you see a poll that people voted on online doesn't mean that there aren't more that don't waste their time voting and hanging around on these websites. MerDer is the show's "Luke and Laura" I guess you could say. In all honesty, I've never been a fan of this couple, but people really love them. If the writers were smart they'd get it back to season one style. That was the height of MerDer's glory. Gizzie was very cute, in my opinion. I would like to see these two together IF and only if they change Izzie's character. Izzie's not the same. She's not her optimistic self anymore (I can see why, she's been getting too much necrophilia). So far the only watchable couple on this show is Cristina and Owen. I think they're perfect for each other. Mark and Lexie should not be. They are not watchable to me. They aren't the slightest bit appealing. Mark and Callie, sure. Lexie and George? I don't think so anymore. Lexie needs to grow up. Sadie just needs to go all together.
4) Bring back a few older storylines. Yes, people, sometimes it is needed when there're problems in the creativity side. The writers are lacking, so it's time to bring back older stuff: return Addison to the cast to shake things up between everyone, bring back bizarreish cases that one couldn't even imagine to think up, drama between certain couples (but not too much drama, sometimes there's too much drama fo' yo' momma), checking in with Bailey and having her scream at some of the residents as if they were interns again, ect. That's another thing I've missed a lot: Bailey and her motherlyness. She cares, but she's hardcore. That's what's so admirable about her, and the way Chandra plays her is amazing.
5) Give more airtime to the following people: George (I think a great deal of people can agree with that, since he IS part of the original cast, back before Alex was even part of the show), Bailey, Derek, and maybe Meredith. They need to cut down on Lexie and the Joker's Interns' airtime by like...a lot. This isn't "Let's Watch Random Interns Kill Each Other & Patient's Anatomy", it's "Grey's Anatomy": the show that follows the lives of five now residents and shows them blossom into surgeons and trying to find themselves. I described this as the perfect estrogen-filled hospital drama that belongs on Lifetime, didn't I? But sometimes estrogen is just better than testosterone.
6) Personality changes of certain characters. Sometimes change in certain characters' personalities can be the fault of shows losing ratings. Meredith isn't the same (in fact, I think I like her better nowadays because she isn't as annoying), Izzie isn't the same, Alex isn't the same, George definitely isn't the same, ect. Very few characters are still like they were in the pilot/their first appearences. I miss the way certain characters would act and their personalities. That's what drew me in. But the only thing is that certain ones still aren't that realistic and very few are. That's the only thing that didn't change.
Anyway, I'll stop rambling on like a moron. And no, I don't think I need a life for this because sometimes we all need an escape from reality and a show does it. Or a book. Or a movie. Sometimes TV can keep a person sane. It does not make you less productive. I think some people need to sit down and take a tutorial in human psychology.

I think the reason why the writers are putting them together is because Mark needs to grow up and it seems like he has feelings for her too. Maybe Lexie will get him to stop sleeping around.
