TR leaving leaves a huge HUGE gaping hole in the show. He is the glue and the heart of the show. Our elevator heart surgery guy, the union man standing by the nurse, the one who helped Bailey give birth and got Mer a second chance at the exam, the one who helped Alex even though he hated him and he is Izzie's person.
He is all our person.
This is George, our George, how can we go by without our George?
How can Shonda let him leave?

Thank you for this, even though this made me cry so very much.
I will miss George and Izzie. I loved absolutely all their moments, as friends and as a couple.
My favorite has to be when he says he looks for her when he laughs and later on, he laughs at something and looks back for Izzie then his face falls when she is not there.
Aww! TR is the actor without words. He doesn't have to say one. His face is so very expressive.
He showed it in the linen closet scene too where he showed guilt, temptation, love and regret all in one minute.
Shonda is a d*mn fool for wasting that talent and letting our George go.

Well, he was never one of my favorite characters; but, his shining moment, when he seemed to "grow up" was when he was sitting around the table with his mother, his brothers, Bailey and the Chief while his father was on his deathbed, and they had to make the decision whether to "let him go" or not. His family seemed to see him for the first time as the man and doctor that he had become.

My favorite moments were:
1. when George moves out in season 2 and izzie is going crazy to find out where he lives and she says " im just curious George! haha Curious George! get it!" and he just sits there!
2. In season 3 him and mer in the elevator. Mcdreamy did the mcnasty with Mchottie! That Mcbastard!
3. In the Season 4 finale: When he is the chiefs intern and mer gives cristina the sparkle pager he saids "No need for pagers covered in Glue and Glitter when you work for the chief!
4. In season 2: My favorite would have to be George's reaction to Derek being married when he spits the beer out!
This is really getting annoying! they are getting rid of all the good people and getting all these new crappy ones!
I love when George and Meredith are in the elevator trying to be each other's person it was great! (McDreamy did the McNasty with McHottie?! That McBastard!)
I also loved him in season 2 when Bailey was giving birth.
While I was never hard core George and this season he hasn't been in it much. So I will miss him, but if TR wants to move on let him. (As long as it's not Patrick Dempsey!!!!)
1.George fleeing from Meredith after revealing they slept together and almost breaking his neck on the stairs.
2. George delivering Bailey´s baby. That was such a great moment.
3. When he has this dream about the girls showering with him and he falls off the bed!
4. When he tells Alex that he has an advantage because he lives with the girls and Alex tells him he is like their brother. And in response, he refuses to buy tampons.
5. Also when he strikes Karev for giving him sifilis.

I love most of George and Alex scenes, always so funny.
George making the decision to let his dad die. George yelling you should have known better to Bailey. Wow, I still get the chills.
The french toast scene. The hug with Izzie. Going back to see her after she has told him about Hannah and he had said he couldn't do this.
The hot dog competition.
The shower fantasy.
All his scenes with Izzie.
When he hugged Bailey because he missed her.
I am bawling just remembering and watching the photos. This isn't final right? They need to get him to stay. We love George.
Margaret Says:

OK I am bawling now. I was on a site and everyone had those amazing George homage sigs and now this.
George, don't leave us.
My favorite scene? All the Gizzie ones of course, and the ones with Sophie when he has to leave and puts his hand on the window, I swooned.
I hate that we're doing this. I hate that he's leaving, but at the same time I'm glad he is because this show has lost all of its magic. It's gone.
My favorite George moment is when he was walking down the hall with tears in his eyes after his dad died. That was the first time I had looked at the show and paid attention. It was more than George that I've watched for; it's T.R. He shines through George, and it feels so horrible to lose him and here Shonda won't even try to keep him on there. They won't try to keep him on there because he's so talented. He has such a bright future, and George has so many more stories to tell. There is so much more that he needs to do.
One of the best George moments ever was when he performed open heart surgery in the elevator. You can see how proud of himself he was, and how proud everyone (except Karev) was of him. He was the first intern to get to scrub in on a surgery. He was always there for Meredith and Izzie when they needed him to be. Now Izzie needs him more than ever and he's leaving.
Another moment that makes me swoon (sorry that I sound fangirlish, but this is George) was when him and Izzie shared that kiss in the elevator. It was passionate, intense, hot and so very wrong at the same time. That kiss was the forbidden fruit you could say.
He's been so funny, too. One of the first things he mumbles when his character was introduced was, "Now you think I'm gay... I'm not gay!" and it cracks me up and makes me tear up at the same time because he actually is gay in real life. But you wouldn't have known. I would have never guessed, hell, I thought the guy that played Alex was gay O_O Off topic.
I always thought George had nicer hair than McDreamy. McDreamy's looks like you can't play with it, and George's you could lay on the couch with him all day and just run your fingers through his hair. Sorry, I like hair.
One of the best moments on the show was when he confessed his love to Meredith. He poured his heart out to her. Then him and her *cough* and he got his heart broken. Him falling down the stairs made me laugh and panic at the same time, and so far nobody's made me feel like that, haha.
Another moment was between him and Meredith. Season 2, episode 8. When the guy fell out of the window and landed on that pigeon? When him and Mer were in that park and he was walking along that ledge thing and they were talking about pigeons or something. I loved that moment. That smile he gave her.
When him and Derek were in quarintine because of that plague. George panicked and thought he was gonna die and Derek just sat there, calm as can be.
Another was at the end of the pilot episode where he looks at Meredith and asks her if they're going to survive their intern year.
As far as quotes go, regardless of how many "I love you"s we've heard him say, and how many funny one liners we've heard him spit out ("Just choking back some McVomit..."), there is one quote that he's said that I will never forget.
In the second to last episode of the season three finale ("Testing 1-2-3") when Meredith didn't take her exam and he came out in the waiting room with her. When he said this quote to her, it was like he just summed up everyone's life:
"It's like we're going on a train that's going 200 miles an hour... It'd be so nice to get off... to stand on the platform for just a minute."
Something that George had done [to me] unlike all the other characters, was made me fall in love with him. The actor himself did so, too (haha), but George did as well. He was just this sweet, bumbling intern you couldn't help but love.
I know this is already ridiculously long, but the chorus to Lifehouse's song "Broken" just kinda sum up the mood of this forum:
I'm falling apart, I'm barely breathing
With a broken heart that's still beating
In the pain there is healing
In your name I find meaning
So I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on, I'm holdin' on
I will miss my favorite duckling.

* Cristina, George and Meredith all playing strip poker while drunk and Hank comes in and George tells him that he and Izzie are going to give birth to very tall blonde people, kinda like Barbies. :)
* As an obvious MerDer fan, the moment that Derek asks George to watch out for Meredith. *sigh*
* George taking care of Ellis and being confused for Thatcher.
* When Derek and George are stuck in quarantine and George begins to ramble about how Derek had it all and that how he can't say 'I love you' to Callie.
* George being jealous of the panties.
* Poor George wanting to play in the resident's competition.

I loved his hair the most during the Gizzie day. He had sexy hair.

I loved when he went to Izzie's thanksgiving dinner and told her I had to touch my dad's butt today and I still showed up.
I love when baby Tuck was crying and he stopped crying the moment George held him and he said babies love me. I always wanted George to have a little baby of his opwn, preferrably with Izzie.
He would have been the best dad.
