Ohh!! C'mon! What do you mean with a brain aneurysm? She is an important piece of the story. Everyone have something that make the story more interesting. If Izzie dies..nobody will be able to replace her..she was kind of the one that always believed..and the story will turn into a dramatic situation where the actors won't shine as they do now. Beisdes I hate the fact that now Meredith and Cristina are having diferences...So I hope the resolution comes out fast and it shoudn't end with the death of Izzie...

I knew the moment Izzie saw Denny what was happening! I love the soap General Hospital, and this is such a storyline RIP! On that show there is a charactor called Nicholas and he had the same thing as Izzie does, seeing, feeling, touching, etc etc his dead wife. The only thing different with his brain tumor was that he had fits of rage. He had surgery and goodbye dead wife. Now, I dont know if Grey's will follow that particular path but as of right now they are. As for Izzie being killed off, SEE YA!! Anyone that can be so UNGREATFULL to be part of such a great show and great cast to boot, DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE ON IT ANY LONGER!! Apparently she has never heard of the saying's "be thankful for what you have", "count your blessing's" and "the grass isn't always greener on the other side"!
maybe denny will go to california and haunt Addie... would that make sense? no, but neither does his presence in GA, so WTF?

I am obviously in the minority here, but I absolutely love having Denny back! I realized it is unrealistic . .but it's an entertainment show! I think it will work out in the end. I liked the idea of her having to have surgery and making the decision between getting better or not and keep "seeing" Denny. I do eventualy want her and Alex together though. Again . .I'm in the minority, but i am very happy about the less mer/der stories. I was starting to completely despise the mer character all together. This is a nice break. I'm also glad Hahn is gone - didn't like her character at all. All I could ever think of was "put the lotion in the basket". Too bad no puns were made . .would have been funny. All this season needs now is . . more george!!!!

What the F*%K is going on with this show? They used to be sooo good! Now it's just like I'm reading a stupid cheap romance novel of no substance. I mean this show used to be really good, had the perfect amount of drama without going over the top. But I swear, like the writing is becoming boring, the lines are the same, the way people get together is exactly the same but with just different characters that swap partners each month and any emotional scene is performed with this same lines. Have you noticed the good ol repitition of "I care about you, i care about you, i care about you, etc." (izzy to Karev) and last nights episode when meredith was consoling the little girl she used the same repition. Sigh, and every scene where someone starts making out is the same, the same intense staring and then someone swoops in an grab someones head and starts madly making out. It's like a Soap opera, but with more action.
Sigh, there are still some good things left..and some new characters (Mjr Hottie!). Cheif is becoming an asshole and the actor sort of seems to not be delivering, the izzie dead guy thing needs to be revealed ASAP because cmon how long do you expect us to keep interest in her having AMAAAZIng sex with a dead guy??? Pluse seioursly, just let karev be happy with someone, we dont need to complicate his lovelife anymore its getting old. Yang and Hottie, little grey and sloan, super hot. That stupid aussie chick can NOT act. All the other characters are aight, though omalley is boring as all get out.
ps: is anyone else annoyed with ABC's overkill of the same orchestra and scoring for every freaking show they have. It's like every ABC show has Desperate Housewives string/percussion section in every scene. Get some new composers. It's like every show is the same when that's exactly why GA stood out before, because it WASN'T the same as all the other shows.

I think I figured it out. It's not schizophrenia or an aneurysm. I was thinking about it after having caught the episode online (life of a teacher) and thought about how Izzie thought that the guy with visions from season 1 was just getting them because of his epilepsy. So I googled epilepsy and hallucinations and found out that temporal lobe epilepsy can cause sufferers to hallucinate and that the symptoms are commonly confused with schizophrenia. It makes perfect sense. The article said that she only sees Denny during flare ups so that could totally be it. And also, it's surgical.

I forgot to mention in my last post, but I also kind of like the inclusion of Dr. Dixon. At first I totally hated her and thought her character unbelievable (like how could anyone this socially awkward get through an interview with a board, or make decent TV?), but that was before the end in the elevator with Bailey where she revealed she had Asberger's Syndrome - I actually cried at that part, very good writing. I think her character could possibly make for some interesting storylines, on the other hand it might get old after awhile. But I like the idea of a character that won't be getting tangled up in the sticky relationship/sex web that the writers have weaved around every other major character.
I like the idea that she will bring more emphasis on the medical drama as opposed to the other crap that is mucking up the show.

The network is banking on a bust. I don't care why Izzie is seeing Denny. They are taking a plotline that was sincere and special and making (Denny and Izzie's relationship) it ultra creepy, completely weird and exponentially annoying. Alex's declaration of love for Izzie was good drama, the fact that he said it while she is in her masturbatory mode is freakin' stupid and ridiculous. It's just so stupid sick (and I mean that it the non-colloquial way). Grey's Anatomy is becoming trite. It was intriguing and challenging TV, but now it's just trite and very very common. Can I say this again, it's over-the-top soapish like that old show Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. The so called "leap of faith" to the "I see dead people" is the epitome of triteness. Come on, really, seriously? Every time I see Denny now I want to fast forward to someone else. Are the writer's so severely stunted that warmed over convoluted plot lines is the BEST you can do in Season 5? I it's hard to stay fresh, but c'mon, give us a break already. Catherine Heigel storyline with Alex could have tension without this stupidity.

I hate Heigl, but I like the storyline. I think it's interesting. I am really excited to see how it turns out: will Izzie find out about her illness? Will she have to choose between surgery to fix it and losing Denny forever, or living with the illness but being with Denny? If she does the surgery, does Derek perform it and kill her? Does she go over the edge when she finds out what is wrong with her? Does she kill herself?
The show sucks right now.. Nothing has really happened all season. It's not like it used to be. This storyline is the only thing remotely similar to the old stuff. We need more drama! More MerDer! (More Der actually) More big accidents! More twists!
But for now, I will settle for this and hope Izzie gets killed off.

I honestly think the ONLY thing that will save the show from bombing is getting rid of Sadie, Owen and Dixon and bringing back Burke.
I can't stand Denny being back on the show.. not like this. I like Izzy and Alex together and I want Denny to die.. again. Just go away! To reiterate what has been said...
(1) Denny is dead... let him RIP... he may have had relevance for the Native American cardiac case but this whole hallucinating sex with a ghost is crazy... she could have hallucinated anything and anyone else... why Denny?? To create more romantic drama and establish more hurdles for her and Korev...
(2) Really like Christina and Owen love story.. they should develop it more... the girl deserves to 'feel'... be raised from the emotional dead.... love is appropriate for this...
(3) Callie.. what is this sexual identity exploration.. does Grey's Anatomy still have guilt over the whole Isaiah Washington prejudice/homophobia and feel the need to act out their remorse and apologies with some same sex love subplot... Is there some secret agreement with the GLBT organizations? No offense but this whole thing seems forced and unreal... The friendship between Callie and McSteamy seems to have more substance and genuine chemistry...
(4) Glad to see George drama subside...
(5) Mer and McDreamy... Boring... nuf said...
(6) Little Grey and McSteamy... typical and boring... nuf said...
(7) Dixon... For the sake of reality, the show could have shown humanity in a more decent light by, at least, highlighting an honest conversation about her condition with a few key staff members at Seattle Grace so people were not initially scoffing and gossiping about her condition... Showing the American public how to handle these conditions in a respectful, appropriate way would have been, well, appropriate.... and one can only help they are realistically portraying an individual with Asperger's syndrome...
Love Grey's Anatomy but the random subplots and depiction of immaturity (and largely, reality) in handling serious and real conditions is getting old.
