Denny was killed off, let him freakin rest in peace and move on!!! The fact that Izzie has been constantly having sex with a dead guy to the point that she is not running the clinic for a week is ridiculous... If i wanted to watch a unrealistic soap opera, i would start back with Days of Our Lives. You finally got Izzie and Alex together, so why not give them a chance to last more than a couple episodes...

I had a feeling this is where Shonda was going. She was careful not to mention brain tumor, but she didn't NOT say it was an anuerysm. I feel better knowing there is a better reason why she is seeing Denny. I loved Denny back in season 2 and was devestated when he died. But now I feel, 3 years later, they are dragging this through the mud. This season needs major improvements. Maybe KH wasn't far off the mark when she said the writers didn't give her Emmy worthy material. She has just now proved her point. Come on writers, enough with the crazy fucking storylines.

i love izzie. i've loved her since day one!
as for her and denny, i loved their relationship, and i cried my heart out when he died! i like that he came back, but even i am starting to think this is rediculous. she should move on with alex!!! :)
here's what i think might b happening:
the day denny first reappeared (when the heart transplant patient returns), i thought he might be more than a figment of her imagination, & in fact an angel. i figured he was there to take the other guy away, as he'd been there when meredith briefly died after drowning! izzie fought hard to save the patient and afterwards asked denny why he was still there...and he looked her in the eyes & said..."i'm not here for HIM". it immediately hit me, "omg, he's here for HER"!!! not just to help her, or love her, but to take her! he's her angel of death, not the heart transplant guy's. could he be lingering around just waiting to take her "home"?
shes been making movies, she won a major award, she made negative statements about the writers, the ratings are dropping, shes now married and starting a family...there r many reasons for her to leave. she probably wants to & her colleagues (actors & writers) may want her to as well.
i hope not...but i think maybe...

I enjoyed seeing Denny back on that heart episode because it was relevant and it made sense for Izzie to be seeing his "ghost", but this story line is just getting absurd. An aneurysm that keeps "flaring up"? I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure an aneurysm is something that doesn't happen recurringly so close together (you can have one and survive it, and maybe have another one months or years later), and they usually leave someone unconcious for a certain amount of time. This seems like pretty crappy research on their part, if that is indeed the story they will reveal about Izzie.
Also, having Jeffrey Dean Morgan back is just bittersweet and strange - I loved him just as much as the next girl on the show and cried my eyes out on the episode where he died, but I'm not happy to have him back because he's dead and I know he and Izzie can't go anywhere. I feel like they are completely negating the poignancy of the Season 2 end and the superior writing involving his death by bringing him back, it's just a cheap move. Like someone else said, a soap opera.
When a show lets itself do anything and doesnt follow any kind of reality rules (unless of course it is a fantasy show), it becomes boring because nothing shocks you anymore. This is what happened with Desperate Housewives, and it is now one of the most unwatchable shows on TV. I would really hate to see this happen on Grey's.
I also despise the random appearance of Meredith's never aforementioned horsemouth "best friend" Sadie - her presence seems contrived and pointless. It's like Grey's keeps bringing on more characters to create more storylines but it's detracting from the core characters and storylines that made this show great in the first place. I especially hated to see Meredith's mother die in only season 3 - that storyline was one of the original cruxes of this show and I think it would have made for a much more interesting story to keep that going (with maybe her mother being lucid for a few years then reverting back).
Meredith and Derek are beyond boring at this point, the chemistry between them is fading and their problems all seem trivial and lame. It's like GA can't break them up or people will have a sh*t-fit, but they don't know what else to do with them until one day Derek pops the question. And even when that happens, I'll just be like, "ehh."
I'm also getting a little annoyed with all these residents and interns dating and sleeping with attendings bullcrap. I do like Christina with the new guy, he is a very cool, different new character. But Lexie/Sloan is dumb, and I could not have more grossed out with the 5 episode stretch of Callie and Hahn making references to going down on each other - and pretty much nothing else. It was an interesting story until it was just all about sex - but now this thing developing between Callie and random horsemouth best friend character is just another case of subordinate/superior dating that is just getting too unbelievable and overdone in this show.
Sorry for my rant, I really do love this show but I feel like I need to be put on the writing staff and help straighten this crap out. I am just afraid of it going down this path to becoming excessively trite and losing my interest. I just want to see the kind of amazing writing circa Season 1 & 2 that had very poignant themes and tightly written characters.
Amen.

Izzy and Denny are so over...we as fans were forced to be over it too, now its being forced on us. Maybe we all should just say that we love with a capital L, LOVE this storyline... maybe then the writers will end it. I just don´t know why it pisses me off, this is just a tv show after all, but come on, this whole Denny thing is absurd! This aneurysm business is laughable and so unbelievable... she doesn´t have any more symptoms? isn´t she a doctor, can´t she recognize in herself the symptoms of a brain defect? Isn´t Izzie being negligent by keeping this to herself? She is a doctor, a surgeon, who treats people, whose lives depend on her, who has "hallucinations"... this is as bad ethically as Burke with his damaged hand, maybe worse, since Burke had Cristina actually doing his job... and on the personal front, she is cheating on alex with a dead man... poor guy... would you think it is fine that your boyfriend or girlfriend has sex alone thinking, actually believing she is having sex with his/her dead fiancé? wouldn´t you feel betrayed? It doesn´t matter if she has this "aneurysm", she is still wanting to have sex with someone who isn´t Alex... that´s plain cheating and it´s wrong

I usually can foreshadow pretty well and I think George and Sadie are gonna hook-up. I know it's a little far fetched but still in the realm of possibility. I see a potential triangle between Lexie, George, and Sadie. I think George and Sadie would compliment each other well. This whole Mark and Lexie thing is stupid!
