I love Denny and I hated it when they killed him off the show. However.... you cannot bring back the dead for any reason. Stupid.
I will agree, the show has lost something. I can't pinpoint any one area in general - it's just boring.
Now word is TR Knight is leaving the show due to him not likeing the storyline for his character. I don't blame him. He doesn't have any big things happening this season.
I will most likely continue to watch the show, and most likely continue to fall asleep 20 minutes into it and not care that I missed anything. Right now...the best thing about the show is Sloan. I LOVE his humor.
Honestly i think they are keeping the story line open in case they need to kill off Izzie. Maybe she isn't sure if she will leave the show or not, if she does Oh look they thought of that. I'm a huge Denny fan and him and Izzie back together was fun at first but this is really getting old. I think if they want people to watch me personally, I would let things get Christina with Owen get serious and then I would bring back Burke, now that friends is good tv. Who wouldn't watch that, Seriously?

I like the story line of Izzy and Denny reuniting. I just wish they would keep it more sincere and romantic, a heartbreaking reunion. Ghosts do exist. I think they should bring Meredith into this and let her tell Izzy her encounter with Denny and the other dead. There is a way to make this story line believable yet even if they turn this into a medical problem. I would like this to be shown that miracles do exist and some of us are given a few moments of wonderful that was snatched away from us. I know you writers can work this out. It needs to end up with the special love that Izzy and Denny shared leaving us in tears once again. Lets hope we can keep that precious moment at the end of Season Two alive forever. It was too heart breaking to ruin its memory.

I have no idea what's going on with Grey's Anatomny this season. The whole Denny and Izzie story is really insane. I turn off the tv whenever they appear on the screen. It's too painful to watch. Yes we like Denny and if he was so great and Izzie and Denny had that fire, that chemistry. Why kill him off the show in the first place? There has to be another way of giving the viewers an idea that Izzie is losing her mind, for whatever reason... Tumor, craziness, stress... having sex with a ghost isn't it. I think GA is jumping in with the sharks with this one. This is one season I might have to miss.
I love this show, at least I did. I hate the hole Izzie/Denny plot. Don´t get me wrong the first time I saw Denny again with Izzie I cryied it was cute when she just felt his presence, but making love to a dead guy is plain creapy. He needs to leave the show! No matter if she´s sick or not... hopping she´s not! But either way. Is just wrong.
She is not only doing that but not taking care of the clinic, and specially not being there for her hot real boyfriend. Alex is finally a great guy, who loves her. Let go the dead dude.
And George... he was just cut off from the group, from Lexie, from his friends... Whats up with that???
Mc Steamy is way too hot for Lexie, she is like a child, I liked him with Torres they where hot togeter!
Remember the movie "A Beautiful Mind"? Where the Russel Crowe character (John Nash) sees this fake US agent? (based on a true story)
Maybe Izzie has the same thing. A more benign type of schizophrenia, that is.
BUT that would effectively remove her from being able to be a Doctor, much less a surgeon.
But ah, how doe she get out of it? Only one person - Alex. She MUST seriously fall in love with Alex, and then she'll be over Denny. Just like any love story. It should take many episodes, where Alex can actually do things for her, but Denny cannot. Reminds me of Ratatouille, where the fat chef can't do anything because he is only a figment of Remy's mind.
Anyway, back to work . . .

To reiterate what has been said...
(1) Denny is dead... let him RIP... he may have had relevance for the Native American cardiac case but this whole hallucinating sex with a ghost is crazy... she could have hallucinated anything and anyone else... why Denny?? To create more romantic drama and establish more hurdles for her and Korev...
(2) Really like Christina and Owen love story.. they should develop it more... the girl deserves to 'feel'... be raised from the emotional dead.... love is appropriate for this...
(3) Callie.. what is this sexual identity exploration.. does Grey's Anatomy still have guilt over the whole Isaiah Washington prejudice/homophobia and feel the need to act out their remorse and apologies with some same sex love subplot... Is there some secret agreement with the GLBT organizations? No offense but this whole thing seems forced and unreal... The friendship between Callie and McSteamy seems to have more substance and genuine chemistry...
(4) Glad to see George drama subside...
(5) Mer and McDreamy... Boring... nuf said...
(6) Little Grey and McSteamy... typical and boring... nuf said...
(7) Dixon... For the sake of reality, the show could have shown humanity in a more decent light by, at least, highlighting an honest conversation about her condition with a few key staff members at Seattle Grace so people were not initially scoffing and gossiping about her condition... Showing the American public how to handle these conditions in a respectful, appropriate way would have been, well, appropriate.... and one can only help they are realistically portraying an individual with Asperger's syndrome...
Love Grey's Anatomy but the random subplots and depiction of immaturity (and largely, reality) in handling serious and real conditions is getting old.
I can't stand Denny being back on the show.. not like this. I like Izzy and Alex together and I want Denny to die.. again. Just go away! I don't care what is causing Izzy to see him and sleep with him but whatever it is it needs to be solved asap so Denny can leave and the show can things can be normal again.

I hate Heigl, but I like the storyline. I think it's interesting. I am really excited to see how it turns out: will Izzie find out about her illness? Will she have to choose between surgery to fix it and losing Denny forever, or living with the illness but being with Denny? If she does the surgery, does Derek perform it and kill her? Does she go over the edge when she finds out what is wrong with her? Does she kill herself?
The show sucks right now.. Nothing has really happened all season. It's not like it used to be. This storyline is the only thing remotely similar to the old stuff. We need more drama! More MerDer! (More Der actually) More big accidents! More twists!
But for now, I will settle for this and hope Izzie gets killed off.

The network is banking on a bust. I don't care why Izzie is seeing Denny. They are taking a plotline that was sincere and special and making (Denny and Izzie's relationship) it ultra creepy, completely weird and exponentially annoying. Alex's declaration of love for Izzie was good drama, the fact that he said it while she is in her masturbatory mode is freakin' stupid and ridiculous. It's just so stupid sick (and I mean that it the non-colloquial way). Grey's Anatomy is becoming trite. It was intriguing and challenging TV, but now it's just trite and very very common. Can I say this again, it's over-the-top soapish like that old show Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. The so called "leap of faith" to the "I see dead people" is the epitome of triteness. Come on, really, seriously? Every time I see Denny now I want to fast forward to someone else. Are the writer's so severely stunted that warmed over convoluted plot lines is the BEST you can do in Season 5? I it's hard to stay fresh, but c'mon, give us a break already. Catherine Heigel storyline with Alex could have tension without this stupidity.

At first I totally hated her and thought her character unbelievable (like how could anyone this socially awkward get through an interview with a board, or make decent TV?), but that was before the end in the elevator with Bailey where she revealed she had Asberger's Syndrome - I actually cried at that part, very good writing. I think her character could possibly make for some interesting storylines, on the other hand it might get old after awhile. But I like the idea of a character that won't be getting tangled up in the sticky relationship/sex web that the writers have weaved around every other major character.
