With titles like "Wish You Were Here," "Sympathy For the Devil," and "Stairway to Heaven," it looks like the writers are planning something big. Or listening to a lot of classic rock.

Patrick Dempsey to Hold Cancer Fundraiser

Patrick Dempsey has announced plans for a 100-mile bike trek fundraiser for the cancer center that bears his name at Central Maine Medical Center.

The Grey's Anatomy star, a Maine native who plays the hunky neurosurgeon known as Dr. Derek Shepherd, a.k.a. McDreamy, on ABC's medical drama, was in his native Lewiston, Maine, on Monday to promote the bike ride and 5-kilometer walk/run planned for October.

The event will benefit the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing, which opened last spring. The actor has provided a $250,000 donation to the center.

Dempsey was born in Lewiston and grew up in the Turner-Buckfield area. He currently owns a home in Harpswell, on the state's coast, where his mom also lives.

Chyler Leigh is Pregnant!

Chyler Leigh is going to be a mom - for the third time!

The Grey's Anatomy star, 26, and her actor-musician husband, Nathan West, 30, are expecting another child, her rep confirmed on Monday afternoon.

"She is a little over four months pregnant," Chyler Leigh's rep said, noting that "Grey's Anatomy won't be writing her pregnancy into its story lines."

Chyler Leigh, Nathan West

Grey's Anatomy's Chyler Leigh and her husband Nathan West are already parents to a son, Noah Wilde, 5, and a daughter, Taelyn, 2. They have been married for six and a half years!

As we know, Leigh plays Dr. Lexie Grey, the neurotic half-sister of Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) and intern at Seattle Grace on the hit ABC hospital drama. She first appeared at the end of Season Three and was made a series regular in Season Four.

Congratulations to Chyler and Nathan!

Eric Dane Reveals Secret to Happy Marriage: Work

Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane plays Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan, a drop-dead gorgeous, smooth-talking surgeon with an eye for a lot of women, to say the least.

In real life, though, the 36-year-old Dane has been happily married to actress Rebecca Gayheart for four years, and the actor, who stars opposite Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston in the new movie Marley & Me, says he's figured out the secret to wedded bliss.

"Work. And it's worth it," he tells Parade.

"I'm 36 and I've found that anything worth having is work. It takes a lot of work to keep your marriage on track but I think it's incredibly rewarding too."

Rebecca Gayheart, Eric Dane

Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart, a.k.a. Mr. and Mrs. McSteamy.

Dane, who prefers to think of "McSteamy," his Grey's Anatomy character, not as a womanizer but as a "careerist who just likes women," says he still has a couple of single friends. But Eric tends not to understand them as well as he'd like.

"I have a couple of single friends, and their willingness to stay single baffles me," Eric Dane said. "Some of the issues they have with some of the women they date are so just insignificant to me but so monumental to them. I don't get it."

In Marley & Me, Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston play a couple who adopt what turns out to be the world's most unruly dog. Has Dane himself ever owned a dog?

"I've actually adopted a dog but it was a fluke," he recalls. "I was walking down the street in L.A. and there was this little Chihuahua with a broken leg."

"This girl told me that someone had thrown the dog out of a moving car, so I took it and nursed it back to health. My wife thought I was the sweetest guy in the world for taking that dog in until I told her she had to take care of it."

Promos For "Wish You Were Here"

Below are a pair of slightly different ABC promos for "Wish You Were Here," the next new episode of Grey's Anatomy, scheduled for Thursday, January 8. You've probably seen them before, but we hadn't added them until now, so we hope you enjoy a second time!

Tyne Daly Cast as Derek's Mother

Here's a minor Grey's Anatomy spoiler / casting note in case you haven't heard about it yet - for the January 15 episode, "Sympathy for the Devil," Tyne Daly (Judging Amy, Cagney and Lacey) has been cast as Derek's mother! Wonder how that will go ...

Tyne Daly

In the episode, the mother of Derek (Patrick Dempsey) will meet Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) for the first time. Will this lead to some Mer-Der drama, which has been lacking? Elsewhere, Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Cristina (Sandra Oh) go on their first real date.

Kate Walsh Formally Files For Divorce

Kate Walsh's marriage was falling apart even sooner than thought.

Not even two weeks after her husband filed for divorce (the two married in Fall 2007), the Private Practice actress has submitted her own paperwork asking for a permanent split from 20th Century Fox executive Alex Young - and cites an alternate date.

Both parties cite irreconcilable differences as the reason their 15-month marriage wound down so soon, but while Young's filing listed their date of separation as November 22, Kate Walsh's counter-filing has the break coming five days earlier.

Not in question is the fact that the duo tied the knot September 1, 2007, in front of more than 100 guests, and a number of Walsh's former Grey's Anatomy cast members.
