Some of Last Night's Memorable Grey's Anatomy Moments
Last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy, "In the Midnight Hour," the ninth episode of Season Five, contained plenty of memorable moments, a couple of which we've posted below.
In the flrst clip, Meredith and Cristina are confronted by the Chief after coming to the rescue in Lexie's debacle, but end up turning on each other in an emotional argument ...
In the second clip, Izzie confesses to Alex what a mess she is, but assures her he isn't going anywhere. Denny watches as Izzie leaves with Alex, but promises he'll be right here ...

I am so excited someone feels like I do about the Izzie/Denny situation! He is and Angel and he has come down to help Izzie with the fact that she is leaving this earth!!! All those reprts that she is not leaving...I dont believe em! Her charach is boring since Denny. Keep Denny, get rid of Izzie!!!!

I think this was a great episode, it also remind me of the episode in season 2. Now I'm just waiting for Iz to tell Alex, it is so exciting:D

I read a rumor that Izzie seeing Denny may be due to a potential brain tumor... Maybe they are setting up the scene for her to pass on, and Denny to take her to "the other side..."

Maddiexoxo you are so right about Cristina. She can not be angry at Mer, just because it was her fault it is Cristinas interns.

Ok, I totally wanted to punch Cristina in the head. Mer was being honest and professional, and didn't back up Cristina... because lying is what gets you in trouble in the first place. Cristina should have gone to the Chief first. Not waited. She's a resident. Not an attending. I think sometimes she forgets that. Then she goes and accuses of Mer of overstepping. What the frick! So not true! ARGH! Could have killed Cris right there. And yet again, Cris is bringing Derek into the equation... because she just can't get over the fact that Mer is with someone that loves her for HER, and she's HAPPY! Grrr... I hope that this causes Cris to back the hell off. Also, I want Sadie to do something stupid again... just so I can watch my beloved Mer go all nutso on her. She's so great when she's angry. Loves Ellen Pompeo! Izzie/Denny/Alex... I cried. Poor Izzie. Poor Denny...AWH! I don't care what Denny is... the chemistry between Izzie/Denny is phenomenol. Always was. That scene also reminded me of ..."For making me love you" scene from season 2 as well. But, Izzie does need to get over him. So she can FINALLY move on! Love the episode. Watched it 3 times. Grey's is so brilliant this season! :D

caitlovespatrick I LOVE your post! JDM brings out the best of Ketherine! Justin Chambers comes so damn close but they haven't had those big scenes yet. The episode last night was back to season 2 standard. I can't wait to find out for this storyline ends. Katherine sure as hell won't be short on material Emmy or Golden Globe worthy this year.

this episode was so amazing that i have already watched it twice. lol.
but seriously my favorite scene was when izzie was yelling at denny because it gives me flash backs to her epic speech in 17 seconds... the "for making me love you" speech..cuz all us true grey's fans know that the 2nd season was the golden era, the most amazing grey's eps ever....i think that jeffery dean morgan makes katherine heigl such an amazing actress. its always him that creates the best scenes and shit. next year she will def have good material for the emmys. i love izzie and denny. i dont give a shit if hes a ghost or dead or whatever. as long as he's back.
