Patrick Dempsey Comments on Brooke Smith Situation
During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Patrick Dempsey commented on Brooke Smith and her departure From Grey's Anatomy - meaning he read a statement from ABC.
Clearly the Grey's Anatomy leading man can't say a lot about it - he may not even know a lot about it - but Patrick did manage to crack a joke at one point. Here's the clip below (if anyone can find the full interview please post the link and we'll add it)!

i'm kinda glad Erica is leaving the show. She may be a great surgeon, but she is an ass...and i dont usually say this about chicks. I mean, I love that Seattle Grace has a romantic storyline that addresses all colors of the rainbow! But I dont like Callie and Hahn together. I think Callie should get a new chick now. Hahn is too arrogant inside the hospital...how long would it be until that hit her personal life with Callie???
