I think that would be a good ideia bring Burkes back. Independet problems that him made cause Burkes and Cristina don't overed...Imagine that all things that could happen if he back?

look i really understand why people are mad at IW. but i'm sure everyone of you made as bad a mistake as this, however the people is not up your A**. been a actor make people fall you around. ok he mad a mistake he mad something wrong. give him a another choice if he blow it that's it he lost it for good. but not for this mistake. if you let say called someone "fat" at school and they are really fat or over wight. it's bad but does this make you banned from the school no, something a little bit. in the end he's a good actor and made he's character really good. so one more choice won't kill anyone.

Preston Burke's character was awesome....BIG mistake HUGE that they fired him, the show is not as interesting as it was the first 3 seasons. the way Preston Burke carried himself and was portrayed as a character was amazing!!!! He was the best character on the show. And you know what...not all of us are homosexuals so it is annoying to watch homosexual relationships on shows that we adore, some of us do not want to condone homosexuality to our young children. We are being forced to watch unethical relationships on television!!!...back to the topic of preston Burke....the storyline he had with Christina was amazing....YOU SHOULD BRING HIM BACK AND CREATE A LOVE TRIANGLE between cristina, burke and the new doc...there is no chemistry with cristina and the new doc,,,whatever his name is, i've lost interest...Bring Burke back and that is surely going to be a SHOW stopper!!!!!!!!!!!! There should be an episode called Paging Dr. Burke where you don't see him for an entire episode but you hear Dr. Burke to OR, Dr. Burke to the ER, Dr. Burke to... on the overhead intercom and you see Christina's reaction to the pages. She listens for the pages and try to find him but misses him by seconds and then in the last 5 minutes he shows up after being paged for surgery and Christina looks into his eyes and faints.

It ain't almost as if IW is saying that..........but ever so many people sure are ! Esp. ppl who loved the show and Burktina. Even IF he IS saying that, btw it is a fact. He's not applying for top political positions that questions his being a good or bad person, is not anyone's damn business. How segued can people get.... actors should have talent that is it ! We love celebrities despite their million transgressions. Only Washington seems to have become a permanent target of the media. That said get Dr. Burke back ...he has plenty scope and it would add a fab twist to Cristina's dilemma and Dr. Burke can get allpossessive 'n intense. He was one of the most intense actors on the show and that's what made it powerpacked. Show's lost its glow.

It is my personal opinion that people can, and actually do (a lot), make mistakes... Shonda made a lot of mistakes... but the show does go on... and, it still shines...
callie and erica was dreadfull, as was Izzie and George, George and Callie, Addison leaving, the whole Ava/Rebecca affair
If they fired Burke because of the gay thing AND his "disagreement" with Patrick Dempsey, it is OK by me, you do not want a rotten apple among you, not matter how good or how important it may be... and this Hahn thing, I don´t think they fired her because of her portraying a gay character... that would be not only wrong but stupid, since they did know she was going to be a gay doctor, so why hire her in the first place?
I think people try to look for scandal everywhere, because it SELLS!!! But no matter what is behind ABC´s reasoning, the bottom line is that they got rid of Washington and the show didn´t die, erica will soon be forgotten and/or replaced an life will go on... until something new happens...
PS: if a lot of people stopped watching because Burke left, it was their prerrogative, but it doesn´t matter to me and to a lot of people who still care and still watch the show

IW keeps making mistakes, he is bashing the show and I read a comment, a new one, where he just called Shond aracist and said he and Sandra couldn't have hot scenes because they weren't white like PD and EP. Do you not remember all the wild accusations he made against PD and TR after he got fired?
The show is homophobic though. It is no coincidence Brooke got fired and their one gay actor, TR, is the only one on the backburner even though George is a big crowd favorite.

I just started watching Grey's last season - because of the Erica/Callie storyline....I just stopped watching Grey's because of the abrupt firing of Brooke Smith's firing and the end of a great storyline.

This is all my personal opinion.. Everybody deserves a second chance. So if Burke were to come back I would be sooo excited.. It would definetly help the show.. These days missing Grey's Anatomy on a thursday doesn't bother me.. I feel like I'm not missing anything.. Which is very sad.. I applaud IW for commenting.. He could've said far worse..
They fired him for a gay slur.. They fired her for playing a lesbian pretty much.. But T.R. Still has a job... but we don't see T.R. On screen we see George O'Malley. And I love him lots.. They should really consider bringing burke not IW back for a couple of episodes.. I don't care what everyone else says he was a big factor of the success the show has... The 1st 3 seasons were the best.. And he was apart of it.. I honestly think they should use him for a couple episodes and then close the burke chapter.. The RATINGS need a boost like that..
As for brooke smith. What happened to her was really unfortunate.. They used her and let her go.. If i was shonda I wouldn't of started her and Callie's storyline in the 1st place.. Everyone could tell that it wouldn't go far.. And personally I didn't want it too... if you can fire IW over something that was said in the heat of the moment why have a Gay storyline? All that south of the border crap didn't do it for me..
