I actually became hooked on Grey's just this past summer watching the re-runs. Since then, I've rented past episodes to get "caught-up" and I've actually watched them backwards (watched season 4, then 3 and I just finished 2). Watching season 2 actually enlightened me on a lot that's happening now. Right before Izzy cut Denny's cord to the heart monitor thing - she said "If you see a light, do NOT go into it - stay away from the light!" Well apparently he listened to her and now he's in limbo!! There is a reason he's back now - whether it's medical with Izzy or not, I don't know. At first I thought he was here to make sure she was now going to be ok with Alex, but Alex hated him and he hated Alex back in season 2, maybe that's why he's back? So it's kind of like a mystery, or at least I hope it's going to be that interesting. But I feel sorry for Alex. She dumped him for Denny in season 2 and now she's doing it again, but for a ghost!!!

I love JC but he does horrible as sweet, romantic guy. Now TR is king at it.
I will always hope George and Izzie get back together. Their relationship was so much purer and stronger than the one between she and Alex, but if she isn't with george, anyone but Alex, ABA.
They are the worst couple on the history of TV. They might actually make me quit the show forever.

I have watched this show from the beginning. Izzie has always been a favorite although I did not like the Izzie/George episodes, it seemed out of character to me. Now Izzie/DEAD Denny. Don't get me wrong, I was so excited to see Denny come back but I had assumed it would be in a dream or something. Relationships with the dead.... I don't think so. This show has such good characters that I hate to see it making such STUPID story lines.
I think perhaps if they want Denny/Izzie to succeed, perhaps they could write in a twin brother to Denny (Lenny perhaps) played by the same actor. I don't agree with the writers killing Denny so soon and they are paying for it now. I believe whole-heartedly that Izzie would be much happier if there was a twin to Denny--that way the actor could portray a living character. I think Alex would be the best match for Lexie, given Izzie with "Lenny." I like Owen-Christina, for they seem to be cut from the same cloth with drive to success. Perhaps George is not destine for Romance, but he does need more air time! Does anyone know how to write ABC about this?

More Mer/Der moments please! Its season 5 and I think the majority of us have forgotten why Meredith and Derek got together in the first place... and I can't wait to see where Christina and Mcbada** go from here! ...lastly, I do think that Izzie and Alex need to have this one last tribulation before they can have a happy relationship together, but I agree with most fans, the show should have casted some of Denny's family members to come back with some unfinished business with Izzie.
On one hand, if Sloan is like beer bongs, then Lexie is like a shirley temple. However, you can't blame Shonda for wanting to have a little fun after seeing Lexi defend George in front of Sloan. I do think Sloan is impressed with Lexipedia's ability to remember many things, but other than that I don't think that a Lexi/Sloan relationship would last very long...and I think George will start to have more air time when something crazy happens and he realizes he does have feelings for Lexi :D I think Mark will be the one to put Lexi back on the right track to become a great surgeon, because obviously, Lexi isn't turning to George when she has a problem..so we need a character like Mark who has the ability to be blunt, abrasive, with the ability to show a softer side during the most surprising times.
I love Brooke Smith but Erica Hahn's character was too stiff. We all know that characters just don't get their happy ending that easy. When Callie and Erica's story fizzled there was nowhere for Erica to turn; she had absolutely no relationships with any other characters and there wasn't any reason for her to stay. Perhaps if Erica had softened up her relationship with Yang or continued some kind of friendship with Sloan earlier on in the episodes she might have had a chance.

I am tired of the Izzy-Danny thing! It's annoying but then again I'm not an Izzy fan. Cristina's romance is more interesting. It keeps me glued to the show. In all I love the show and look forward to whatever they have going but the Hahn and Callie romance was intolerable. Like both characters but not together. Still misses Burke. Wished he could return or get a guess appearance.

George and Izzie were the best couple ever. They were McObvious from day one. Sweet, hot, touching, heartbreaking and funny.
I adored them but since Shonda is a giant coward, I know they will never be revisited. I hope at least we can get the friendship back. I miss it so much, and that Izzie can go with someone else than Alex. Alex only ever had chemistry with Addison and he and Izzie have zero chemistry.
If George can't be with Izzie, I would love him with Lexie. They would be perfect together.
I swear though if they don't give George a story and soon, I won't watch Grey anymore.

Oh I thought the mods were bashing Gizzie too at first and got pretty mad and almost left a message, so thanks for setting us straight Hannah. I was shocked too as the mods here have always been nice with all the fans, whatever their shipping preferences.
It doesn't surprise me coming from Aussiello though, the man has no class and hates Gizzie so badly. He had a whole celebration when they ended even though he knew Gizzie fans posted there.

If I know Shonda and there's a reason for this. Maybe now that he's dead, Denny can see that something bad is about to happen. Which is not all the ridiculous because when Meredith died, everyone in the room knew that she didn't swin. But if Denny's gonna be around till Episode 14, then that's probably when we'll find out.

Maybe Denny isn´t a ghost, maybe he is alive and by some kind of radioactive experiment he became invisible to all except for Izzie... because he didn´t die after Izzie invented a time machine, went back in time, stopped herself from stealing the heart for Denny so he didn´t actually die three years ago but became a member of an elite group that researched heart deseases and suffered that weird accident that made him invisible and now he loiters the aisles of SGH hoping for Izzie, his true love, to dump Alex Karev and be his girl...

Alex and Izzie? Love them. But I also loved Danny and George. Don't find this Denny ghost thing so unrealistic. Perhaps some of you haven't experienced thing like that, felt obligated, like you moved on, but honestly, you couldn't be far from it. She's finally getting some air, moving on, at least trying to...but, just one patient gets to her and she is on the ground, on that same bathroom floor, in that same dress.
I know what it's like. I've been there.
It's hard to let go, especially when you don't know your still holding on to old memories, or blame yourself for something that's said or done...

Things are getting too wacky even for TV. What happened to Lexie's alcoholic father and devout love for George? When did she become sexually obsessed with Sloan? Before or after the creepy intern cutting club? A little depth of character can go a long way and actually tie you to the characters. Right now I feel b--ch slapped -- I can't keep up with the convoluted story lines. Let's get a little depth with Yang and Owen - he's interesting - I want to know more about him and have him do more than glare. And somebody needs to do their homework on Asperger's syndrome. The portrayal is so off it's pathetic. They're mixing up autism with aspergers - a new blend.
I love the new characters, but give them more depth and they'll grab a hold more.

The ghost story is too weird and unattractive to what I used to see Grey's Anatomy as - a smart sexy show that kept me thinking - can't wait till next week. I am a new mom and work part time and have little time to myself and look forward to getting lost in 1 soap opera per week - so I choose Greys way back when it was good. Meredith and Derek have clearly LOST interest, remind me of a time when I knew my ex and I were becoming just roomates, boring...Lexi and Mark are hot- but weird. Callie is hopeless and lost, but you can't help but be her biggest fan... And frankly,when everyone has almost slep with everyone, what else is left? Unfortunatley, I see that the producers of this show put too many of their eggs in one basket and got bored with coming up with stronger, more intriguing storylines...Hence, we have a product of WTF??? for the past few Thursday nights. O' well, I guess I have to wait til May when MAD MEN returns, till then, I'll stick to reading.

Meredith's dad left when she was 5. So Meredith is at least 5 years older than Lexie. Lexie is 24, so Meredith is 29, probably 30.
It's not that weird with Mark & Lexie, because Derek is also 10 years older than Meredith.

Unfortunatley, I see that the producers of this show put too many of their eggs in one basket and got bored with coming up with stronger, more intriguing storylines...Hence, we have a product of WTF??? for the past few Thursday nights. O' well, I guess I have to wait til May when MAD MEN returns, till then, I'll stick to reading.

Meredith's dad left when she was 5. So Meredith is at least 5 years older than Lexie. Lexie is 24, so Meredith is 29, probably 30.
It's not that weird with Mark & Lexie, because Derek is also 10 years older than Meredith.
