I agree with you about the Denny-Izzie thing--- I'm really enjoying it too-- curious to see where it will end up, but definitely enjoying the ride-- their chemistry is fantastic!
I agree with you about being amazed that anyone could call Gizzie a disaster, but, hey, I am a self-professed Gizzie fan!!! Always have been! :)

I think that cllica was amazing and that the chemistry was lacking a little bit but it made the show more interesting. WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THE WHOLE IZZIE AND DENNY SITUATION!!! it is soooooo lame...what was the point of killing denny if he is going to be around haunting izzie.
It makes no sensd what so ever and the fact that i heard that izzie is hallucinating this because of a brain tumor, it could be something else...the whole izzie and denny thing is really lame...izzie needs to go...HAHN SHOULD HAVE STAYED. ABC NETWORK YOU SUCK NOW.

Ok I am sure this has been said a million times. If the execs didn't like the way Hahn's character acted why not just write her differently. She could have become softer through her relationship with Callie. Then if they still thought that was no good then write her off. But the way it went down -so suddenly -I think is what ticks most people off.

If the suits at ABC despised the Erica HAhn character so much,then why did they have her back as a regular character? I agree, the writers could have made her character more people friendly because of her friendship with Callie. Instead they ax her, and by doing this take another "best friend" away from Callie. Remember Callie and Addison were friends before she went into "Private Practice".

I despised Dr. Dixon, out of all of the cardiac surgeoeons she is the least interesting, and I think she's even more annoying than....Rose!
I'm still mad over the Brooke Smith firing, did you see how the ABC suit said they used a "sample group" which means they only asked a couple of Grey's Anatomy fans, prolly people who only like the skinny, young doctors. They should have done more research regarding how people view Callica cuz i've seen a lot of uproar on the internet about this.
Grey's was getting so good with the CAllica storyline, it was fresh and innovative compared to other gay storylines, maybe if people complain or protest, then they can bring Erica back and try to improve the show from there.
Cuz you cant just keep firing people and bringing new people and keep resetting the show, you should keep as much familiarity as possible!

Just about the age thing, this is what I, after careful observation, have come up with.
In season 1, Cristina is 28 (on the OR board)
In season 3, Izzie is 27 (her daughter was born when she was 16, she's now 11)
In season 3, Addie is 39 (she says so in the last episode)
In season 4, Lexie is 24 (Alex says so)
In season 5, Sadie is 30 (the interns say it during rounds)
Now, we have to assume Derek and Mark are the same age as Addie, and Meredith has to be at least six years older then Lexie and around the same age as Sadie. So, yeah, Lexie is a bit young for Mark, but stranger things have been done.
Which brings me to Denny. Although I don't like this storyline, I'll admit it keeps me watching. I'm in for the long haul with this show, but this, as much as it is annoying me, is keeping me excited to see what he does every episode.
I'm also sad Hahn left, but, as I did with Burke, I'm starting to get over it. Also, I'm not a fan of Gizzie romantically, but they have such great chemistry as friends, and we're missing so much of that this season.
And can we please give T.R. more than 5 seconds of screen time per episode?

If, after all is said and done, it still makes me go "wtf!?!", then I will say bye bye to Grey's. But, for now at least, I am giving the writers the benefit of the doubt.

About the Gizzie thing, to me it was a disaster of major proportions, but that is my opinion, everybody is entitled to theirs, so I am not judging anybody because they think differntly. As to the Denny-Izzie thing, right now, as there is no rational explanation to its existence, I believe it to be lame... my reasoning is that if their chemistry is sooooo amazing, they shouldn´t have killed him, or rather, have Izzie "kill" him in a moment of total insanity... you just don´t do ghosts in medical shows... but then I never really liked the Izzie-Denny love affair, so there you have it...
I think Izzie has always being annoying, this is not recent... this air-time controversy you talk about may be a way to appease KH, since last year she bitched about being irrelevant and threatened with leaving... think about it...
As to George, I always thought he was the nicest intern, but that is his problem, he is too nice. He needs to grow a backbone and stand up for himself.
As to Meredith being crappy towards Derek, but that is not entirely true... I mean Derek can be pretty harsh sometimes, and has done lots of things that hurt her... but that discussion is pointless, but the fact that Meredith is so messed up doesn´t mean that Derek is perfect or that he is her underestimated knight in shining whatever...

Like I would imagine December 4th's episode, and maybe one more will air before the end of the year, and it probably won't come back new until near the end of January.

Geez how come some people can't just watch a show, enjoy some and hate some but just continue to watch it to see where it goes? All I read here is "if Shonda does this or doesn't do that it's bye bye Greys" seems kinda childish. I mean I have preferences towards the coupling etc on the show but if it's now the way I wanted it to go that doens't mean I'm gonna stop watching. There's always something interesting going on right? Plus there are still nuff people still watching so she must be doing something right, lol
Anyway, that to the side, I personally LOVE the Izzie Denny thing. Have no friggin' clue where it's going but I loved Denny from the first moment he set foot in Seattle Grace and I still love the chemistry between Izzie and him. Wherever it may go with them it's just been great to see them together again for a while even if it's somewhat weird.
LOVE Owentina too btw. Furthermore I'm just gonna go keep on watching the show and let it surprise me, afterall it's a nice escape from real life for a while :)

I will watch greys no matter what I think, I have no problem with the Denny storyline because they know they should'nt have killed him off. BIG MISTAKE "Jeff, you should have tried harder to convince them to keep you!!" Anyway now he is back I am happy for him to stay forever ha ha...
In reality though I have concerns for those who dont want this to be a supernatural cross over. This is a drama about relationships in a hospital, not with ghosts...
So Shonda write a denny duqette story, who is he, where did he come from, where did he get all that money from etc, trust me there would be plenty of viewers... give him the life he once had... he deserves it.

OK if Gizzie was such a disaster how come the ratings were so much better when they were together, how come the ratings have been falling since they ended (and only went back up a small buit when Denny came bnack)and how come so many people quit the show because they watched only for them.
Also how come we keep gaining new Gizzie fans months after they ended?
My guess is Alex and Izzie are the disaster of major epic proportions. So many people quit because of them and the ratings were terrible. Like I said, they had to bring a dead guy to bring them up a bit.
People clearly don,t like AI despite their ever vocal fans.
Lexie and Mark are so gross together, she looks 12 and he looks 40. I am not as big a Gexie fan as a Gizzie one, but she looks more mature with him.

This is not the first time someone asked about George. Matt Rousch also gave the same characters have front burner time and back burner time answer and he mentioned people being furious over his lack of airtime so my guess is he got a whole lot of letters on it.
I don't think it is a good excuse. I watch for George. It is the one reason I didn't quit when they ended Gizzie, which was far from a disaster.
I am thrilled we might be getting GI scenes again, I miss them.
As for Mark and Lexie, it looks like a dad making out with his kid, super gross.
