Oh, and as for Hahn, I can't say I'll miss her since she wasn't exactly my favorite character but the entire situation is just so wrong that she should stay.

  2. bryant Says:

Anyone who has ever lost someone they love thinks about them a lot. I don't think its completely unrealistic for Izzie to have 'seen' him with such a difficult case that had to do with Denny. It's hard to ignore feelings you have for someone that used to be there with you and got taken away from you in a terrible way. I think JDM is a great actor and I'm glad he is willing to come back and smile for all of us. I hope Izzie uses Alex to help her with this. That was great to see them snuggling at the beginning of the episode. =)

  3. polishfan Says:

I'm quite sure that appearing of Danny in last episode means something important, maybe Izzy has a tumor? Shonda has never add things which doesn't connect with general plot. I love that great connection betweeen Mer and Der. That last scene when Derek kiss Meredith on the cheek was just awsome. I think that writers want to show real relationship between Mer and Der without any conditions like "I have a wife","only sex". Please, give us some more of that!

  4. Cat Says:

Well enjoy all the JDM you can get, because after Watchmen the roles will continue to pour in...this film is going to be amazing!
    http://watchmenmovie.warnerbros.com/ check out the teaser!

But I don't think George will be out of commission for very long. They're just giving him a break to expand some other character's storylines-like Christina and Alex. I had to sit back and watch George's character get dragged through the mud and see very little of my favorites.

  5. seriously1234 Says:

i loved this episode and am so happy and i wont miss hahn at all!!!

  6. fati Says:

  7. DarkandTwistyLee Says:

George needs more airtime and more of a story line. Lexie needs more respect.

T.R. needs to get himself into more movies and TV appearences & shows. He's great.

  8. lauren Says:

george is boring and gray,,I dont know what is he doing in the show yet!!

  9. Sabrina Says:

George is my favorite. He lights up the show for me. I miss him and I miss Gizzie. He is the best thing on the show and I will get so mad if he doesn't get ant story soon.

  10. Amy Says:

I miss George and I miss Gizzie. Thanks for keeping your promise and mentioning it.

  11. Carrie Says:

TR is my favorite actor. Why is the show not using him? He better be involved in this story with Izzie or I'll get so mad.

  12. Glinda Says:

Thank you for acknowledging that Mark deserves a substantive storyline. I agree with McCritic about Mark and Callie. Would love for Mark to figure out one day that he would like to seriously try dating her. It would give him a good storyline that has the potential to contain lots of humor, which I agree Mark is very good at.

While I feel total sympathy for Brooke Smith, I won't miss Erica Hahn much at all. I never really warmed up to the character, and always thought that Mark/Callie had way more chemistry than Erica/Callie.

As for Denny, I would have to put myself with those who never really want to see him again. The man is dead, and I wish the writers would spend more of their time on storylines for the characters who are actually alive, like George and Mark.

  13. Telly Says:

I want more George and more Mark and less of those new interns. I also don't care about Alex but I know his fans have waited a long time so I can respect that even though I ff all his scenes. I just wish he didn't have to be with Izzie because then I ff her too.

Thanks for mentioning the situation with George and he and Izie. I am frustrated about their total lack of scenes.

  14. Nikki Says:

I love Denny and have nothing against him but would rather the airtime go to George and Mark. If it makes George be there for Izzie in her time of need though, I am all for it. I would do anything right now so George and Izzie can share scenes.

  15. hanna Says:

well the only reason why the izzie/denny pairing was so great (if anyone realised) was that it was mostly love and not so much sexual lust. killing denny was the only way to keep that love like that. bringing jdm back to act as another character would just foul up the already complicated plot and create too many characters to the crowded show..

  16. anaminusthan3greys Says:

good God! lots of things are surrounding greys...one of them: poor George's inability to fit in! Poor guy, he isnt an intern anymore and yet he cant fully get to the first year residents' level!

Eric Hahn leaving was sort of a good thing in my book. She was rude to Yang, never wanting to teach her simply bc she saw herself in Yang. She was resistant of Bailey's "Mission Impossible" surgery--as i like to call it--bc she didn't think it could be done. And then she almost recieved credit for the success!!! And as nice as she always was to Callie, sooner or later that anger was gonna get into their relationship. And I don't know if it happened in "Rise Up" only bc she was leaving or if it was already going to happen either way, but I do know that Callie deserves better. Be it a guy or a girl! It's not enough to see the leaves sometimes, gotta change that I-Don't-Care attidute too.

Mark needs someone who can be with him for both parts of his body: the brain and the downsouth part! Callie sure meets it!!! But they've never had sex outside the hospital walls, have they? (it's a real question! I don remember!) So I guess we got another Burke/Christina thing...she doesn't want more, but he does. Let's hope no one needs to get shot this time!

Oh...BOOZE!!! Well, I agree that Mer is like Tequila, but not for the puking reason...but for hitting the floor after like the 4th shot!
Karev is aged red wine: pairs up great with a nice steak and sure it leaves you with a headache in the morning, but what a night it will give ya!!! But then so will Sloan...tough choice! But nothing wrong with having two bottles of wine in your cellar! Now i can see a little into Addison's dilema.

Denny is a touchy subject bc i want him to go and i want him to stay at the same time! I guess he could show up whenever there is a heart surgery, which isnt often, so I would be happy enough :D

  17. anaminusthan3greys Says:

ERICA HAHN***** sry for the typo!

  18. alexaholic Says:

anaminusthan3greys, I could not agree with you more! I too found Dr. Hahn to be a real downer. Callie deserves a fun and loving relationship and while I think she and Mark make a fine couple I would prefer that Mark explore some new territory--like Lexie Grey---it would be a good thing for both of them. For starters, Lexie does deserve more respect--and to be noticed, in a good way--and Dr. Sloan could do that for her. There could also be a bit of drama, since Lexie is obviously smarter than Sloan. If he realized it, it would help to take him down a peg or two. Secondly, it would be a nice new pure relationship and he could explore some of his finer qualities, without the history of his lack of ethics or morality. Lexie could be the antithesis of Meredith--she could be more confident in her personal relationships, by demanding that her lover/boyfriend whatever, treat her respectfully in their relationship. Unlike Mer, who is a good doctor, but lacks confidence in her personal life and relationships. I also agree with your reasoning regarding the Izzie/Denny relationship--and I think this is the primary reason that people are dissatisfied with a lot of the story lines lately--its because they seem to be valuing the sex over the relationships! I have no objection to a love relationship between two females or two males. What I objected to in the Hahn/Callie "relationship" is that it wasn't really a relationship, it was a very crudely drawn sexual "exploratory" between these two fine actors. They should have spent more time developing love and friendship and less time with Callie barking such ridiculous orders as "take off your pants" to Hahn or Sloan. Did anyone think that was romantic or even sexually exciting? It seemed like just another day at work to me. Whatever happened to foreplay?
I am very intrigued with the yang/hunt story and want to see these two grow some attachments to other humans inspite of the terrible traumas they have both experienced in their lives. Hunt is brave, but in my opinion, Yang is braver--and I think she is someone that he will grow to really love and appreciate! I disagree with previous posters regarding less screen time for the interns--the main characters show their development by their interaction with the interns--
but we do need to find a nice niche for George, get some more quality screen time for him and maybe find him a girlfriend (someone other than Lexie)--why don't we hook him up with a cute policewoman who suffers some like-threatening injury that George helps treat???/ hmmmmmm?

  19. Marie Says:

Hmm I am not for Mark and Lexie. They have a nice sibling chemistry but nothing else. I am all for George and Lexie if I can,t have Gizzie. They are adorable.

  20. Karina Says:

Yeah I like George and Lexie too, though if I had to pick between Gexie and Gizzie, I'd pick Gizzie. Mark and Lexie don't work that way.

  21. ISwearToGod,She'sRuiningVaginasForMe Says:

i'm so upset they fired brooke. i was just beginning to really like and understand her character, and they axed her. stupid abc.

  22. phoe Says:

i am absolutely SICK of gizzie madness!, it's freaking over, get over it, now let's look at lexie and george, yeah that's what i'm talking about...

about Denny, i'm not even gonna start, i'm loyal from the start Burktina, Alexzie, & MerDer! George can be a man-whore like Mark, i wouldn't mind that at all

    NO OFFENSE, people!

  23. Fiona Says:

I am sure, I do like Lexie and george but I will never get over Gizzie. If it was one of those couples you mentioned now having no scenes at all, would you just get over it?

I am a Gizzie fan for life and I will never forgive Shonda for not giving them a chance. You telling me to get over it won't change a thing, except for me thinking you are rude.

I'll also hate Alex and Izzie together for life, they are gross.

  24. Kay Says:

I am tired of the Gizzie haters telling the Gzizie fans to get over it, did you say the same thing to the AI fans when they kept whining about their couple not being together? I am not getting over it especially when the show has thsoe two having act like strangers. If they made them friends again, maybe I could get over it, but not with them being strangers like that.

  25. alexaholic Says:

Poor George.....he has been adrift so long he has no more story time. George and Lexie are very cute together, but IMO, that is the relationship that is most like brother/sister. Not to mention the fact that George is completely oblivious. Don't get me wrong--I LOVE George, I think he has heart and soul, but Lexie is whip-smart and needs a STRONG REAL MAN to show her what true love and romance is all about. George spends too much of his time pussy-footing around, if you get my drift. Like when he stammers all around a topic, whatever it may be, without getting to the point.
As for George and Izzie, I think they were great best friends and I would love to see them interacting in that way again. But the truth is, sometimes a friendship like that would not last when each of them has other things going on in their lives---like George trying to play catch up career-wise, and Izzie and Alex. Alex is the kind of guy that would feel very threatened by Izzie's friendship with George. Perhaps that's a story arc that could be explored in future--that is, if they haven't killed off Izzie with a brain tumor or some such nonsense. I hope KH doesn't leave Grey's, she is one of my favorite doctors there, I think she, Mer, Lexie and George maintain the kindness quotient against the more hardcore Yang, Hahn, Callie, Sloan and McDreamy---those 5 need to work on their bedside manners!
