I love Denny and am glad to see him. I miss my George though. I want him to be there for Izzie. He is her person and she is his. I want Gexie together not Mexie, and Callie and Mark would be great. Shonda is an idiot. Oh and I hate Alex, I love seeing him in pain. He deserves it.

OMG people I just saw another promo for next week's episode and it's HEARTBREAKING!! Let me just quickly say I love Denny and Izzie- there. Now, in this preview she yells at him about how he doesn't get to apologize for dying. She also mentions she must be crazy and that there's a real world out there. This kind of strengthens my thoughts about Izzie not having a brain tumor but a mental illness, maybe post-traumatic stress disorder or something...whatever. The moment I started to cry was when you see Izzie lying in bed next to Denny, hugging him, her head on his chest (sounds familiar???) saying sadly "This is not real, is it?" - and then the camera zoomes out and she is wearing her prom dress! So, so, so wonderfully, heartbreakingly sad!!! What do you guys think?!
I am new to commenting on this site I am also new to watching grey's anatomy....
this is my first season watching every week..
I believe denny is absoutely gorgeous! & him&izzie are so hot together& I really didnt want him to die...so having denny back is a purehappiness...cause that guy is just beautiful.... yes that part is kind of unbelievable & I was thinking what the hell??... isn't this show supposed to be a little bit more of ...reality???... but after reading some of you guys comment stating that it could be a braintumor..it makes sense..but until then...
Denny, Izzie, Alex- part of me doesn't like the 'i see ghosts' thing but the other part is really touched by this storyline. I think we all take it too literally. It's a film after all, how else would they show what's in Izzie's mind? We don't really know if she's imagining him against her will or if she's actually seeing him.
If the hypothesis about the brain tumour is true, and if we bear in mind what Shonda said about Alex (that this season we'll get to know him better than ever), maybe the whole Denny-tumour-Izzie thing will make her relationship with Alex much stronger. He'll be taking care of her and will realize how much she means to him and she'll realize that she prefers to live real life with Alex than her imaginary life with Denny.
Just a couple of comments, first I am really new to commenting on this site. It is a great site for fans!! I just want to say that just because the show is not telling the stories you want it to, does not mean it is not telling the stories it is supposed to. From what I understand Shonda knows how this show is going to end, she knows how each season is going to end. It is all going to run it's course and some of the characters won't get a lot of air time. Christina had her major airtime when she and Burke were hiding his tremor, George has had tons of story lines. Derek and Meredith is the constant story that runs through each episode. I am so shocked to hear the people out there saying that the show is doomed. It is so far from being doomed!! It has some of the best acting and best stories on tv. Again, I do not think that they are going to kill off Izzie. She is such an important character to the show. Denny keeps saying "I am here for you", that does not have to mean she is going with him. I think we are just starting to get to the good stuff about all of the characters. This season is going to be the season that answers a lot of questions about who these people are. I am seriously along for the ride!!

Don't come back to Grey's JDM. You are ruining the show. I hope they gonna delete all the unnecessary DI scenes in next few episodes after reading all the negative comments. I think more than 80% of the comments are against DI.
I already can't stand Dr. Hunt and now I got to put up with Sadie and Dr. Dixon??!! I don't like any of the new characters! I know its not going to happen but I still say "Bring Back Hahn"!
I totally agree with Sandi - I LOVED Denny and Izzy. I wish so much that he didn't die, but he did and I miss his character. They are so hot together.
I too do not like the new characters. Sadie is just too much. I think Shonda should concentrate on our 'regular' characters and not bring in any new ones, at least not yet. I want Lexi to get George, I think they would be great together.

I LOVED this episode. I don't know what in the world everyone is complaining about. Denny is always with her, how could he not be? He's never left her thoughts, and he's always there with her in her mind and in her heart, so it would just be unnatural for her never to deal with this situation again. I think it's being dealt with very well by the writers and I also think any reason to get to look at Jeffrey Dean Morgan again is a good one! :o) You all need to just lighten up a little bit. It's a TV show for crying out loud! I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Izzie and Alex together. She deserves to be happy and so does he. I've also enjoyed the development of Alex's character over the last couple of seasons, watching his relationship with Rebecca, learning a little more about his past and his childhood has let us see who he really is. He has always been one of my favorite characters anyway, from the very beginning, so I'm really pleased with any storyline involving him. In all, I think the season has gone really well fo far. I think the writers and everyone else are doing a great job, although I COULD have done without the whole Callie/Erica storyline. That didnt' do anything for the who whatsoever, and I never liked Hahn's character anyway. Everytime she was on screen I just wanted to slap her and tell her to shut the heck up! So, I'm glad she's gone. But other than that, the show is great. This is still one of my most anticipated shows of the week. Keep up the good work.
Wow! There's not that many people liking Denny being back is there? I loved it! I was in tears for the whole episode the scenes were heartbreaking. A few people have commented on Izzie and Denny having sex I think she was just imagining it. If the brain tumour thing is right then she definitely was imagining the whole thing it's not supernatural just symptoms of her illness and the whole storyline will come together in time. I really don't think Shonda has jumped the shark she's just building a story. I hope to God Katherine isn't leaving because when she puts in a good performance she brings the house down an absolutely fantastic actress. I loved every minute of the episode I really didn't want it to end. The storyline is just building up give it time. Roll on next week!

I dont know where they are going with the whole dead guy walking thing, but the scenes between KH and JDM were just heartbreaking, I dont care what anyone says about Katherine Heigl, she is such a talented actress, and JDM is amazing too, that final scene when Denny tells Izzie to touch him, the look on her face (and his face!) when she realises he is actually there, dear lord, I was in floods of tears, they made that scene amazingly real despite the fact that the whole thing is actually incredibly far from reality! It would be ok if George had more than 10 seconds and his airtime was going to characters we care about but they are going to Sadie, Owen and all those new interns.
I don't think any character has ever had 10 seconds of airtime in an episode before, not even Alex when he had no story. He still always showed up and had interaction with the others.
George talks with noone but Lexie, and that is even dwindling down.
There is also rumors that Grey has decide to degay its show and that TR will be fired for it and s only contracted to the middle of the show.
Unless your favorite character has ever had 10 seconds of airtime and not storyline at all since the middle of season 4, really, you shouldn't talk.
This is not new, this has been going on since after the strike, and if they are not going to give George a story, they should tell his fans so they can quit the show.
I lost Gizzie, if I lose George, that is it.

Wow there are a lot of complainers on here! I for one LOVED the return of Denny, and if Izzie is sick I think it is the perfect way to do it! Just think about it...if she does have a tumor that is allowing her to see AND touch Denny (even to the point that she gets to make love to the love of her life for the first time ever) do you think she will want to get rid of the tumor? If I had something wrong with me that enabled me to see my Granny and hold her hand and talk to her and hug her just one more time, I would have a hard time letting that go, even if it was dangerous. IF she dies....then she will be with Denny forever, and if she doesn't die, then we would have gotten to see someone who loves her get her through the worst time of her life. If you don't love Denny, then you REALLY need to go watch about the last 5 episodes of season 2. Also, we were told that we were going to learn bore about Alex than ever before this season. I think that Izzie being sick will trigger Alex to share his experiences with her. I think that Shonda sometimes regrets killing Denny. She once referred to that as her "breaking the rules". I for one think that JDM is one of the brightest (and best-looking) actors that has ever been on the show.
If there was anything I could ask for on this show, it would be for Derek to have a storyline of his own. Something of his own that doesn't involve Meredith....that draws her in. He has spent A LOT of time supporting her....sometimes it is almost like that is the only point of his character...to be her supporter. The truth is, he is his own person. There is more to him than brain surgery and the women of his life....right? We learned in one of the very first episodes when the woman got raped in the park and was wearing the same shoes as Meredith that Derek has A LOT of family....where are they? Do they ever need him? It would thrill me to see Meredith support him through family issues.
