As an array of actors, models, designers, artists and socialites dripping in diamonds descended on the Whitney Museum of American Art for a fundraising gala co-chaired by Donatella Versace and special guest Patrick Dempsey Monday.
Naturally, you can't have McDreamy in the house and not have the conversation turn to the new television season and in his case, Grey's Anatomy.
When asked if there would be long-awaited wedding bells for his Dr. Derek Shepherd and Ellen Pompeo's Dr. Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy, Dempsey, who is featured as the (handsome) face of Versace's advertising campaign, replied:
"There may be. I think so. I don't think it will be a typical marriage. Rumor has it something might be happening. I think they have to. It's time for them to get together."

After his marriage(no earlier than the end of the season) Sheperd will change his family on Grey because of his grey becoming hair.

Sorry to kill the joy but Kristin at E! Online just killed this beautiful idea of Mer/Der walking down the aisle. Not even the freakin' dream house is being built! C'mon Shonda, give us want we want!!
At least get them engaged this season!! But if that's too much to ask, then dream house please!!!! :)
