Love them or hate them, Alex and Izzie have generated a lot of buzz so far in Season Five.
The couple has been received positively by many Grey's Anatomy fans, but Izzie's previous romance with George attracted a considerable fan base itself.
So we decided to put it to an informal vote. Tell us which you prefer in the survey below ...

Oh please we know AI is going to win. The AI fans always vote more than the Gizzie fans, and those polls of yours are so spammable, it,s not even funny. Anyone with a good library next to them with an unfiltered computer can vote many many times over. Except I actually have a life and can't be at the library all the tiime or voting all day like the 14 year old AI fans.
I am sick and tired of your polls. There is no way Gizzie will ever win one poll on this site. Way too much spamming goin on and way too many obsessed AI fans posting here.

I dislike both couples but I agree. The polls here are spammable and weird. I am a gexie fan and I have voted twice I wanted them together yet both votes registered as I don't want them together.
What the heck is up with that?

i think the polls on this site don't take your vote twice on the same browser. i.e., if you have two browsers you can vote twice, or you can clear cookies and do it again, but taht requires a lot of effort. and couldn't either side do that? not a fan of AI myself, just saying, it might go both ways. besides, it's just a fan site and it says the poll is informal.

Oh not another poll. I love Gizzie but I know they won't win on this site, they never do. Most people here are Gizzie haters except for a few people and like danny said, most Gizzie fans have given up the fight.
So enough with the polls here. They are not helping anything. Gizzie will never do well on polls on this site like someone else said. On sites like Fanpop, BuddyTV and Tv-com, they win them regularly but not here, so stop making polls. We know hwo people on this site feels.
If you really do want to make a poll, how about you make one asking people if they want George and Izzie to be friends again?
That would make a change and that is a fight the Gizzie fans could actually win.

We are not in a battlefield! I believe that everybody wants them to get along! At least, I do. I'm not a Gizzie fan when it comes to love/being a couple, but they were friends since the beginning!

This is a MerDer and AI fan site, Gizzie will never win there, it's like TWOP.
You know that and you know they will do badly on this poll like they do in every poll here, which is probably why you put it up.
Yeah on Fanpop and BuddyTV, they win favorite couple but here, they are probably the least popular couple except for some people. You know it and instead of fighting for their friendship to be restored, you put up ollls you know we won,t win and that means nothing at the end since it's easy to vote many times if you have the time.

Not to mention this poll is very easy to manipulate. If you have a dial-up connexion, you just turn it off then on and it allows you to vote multiple times. Also if yiou don't vote in a poll for more than two days, it allows you to vote again.
Someone told me she voted 10 times using her dial-up connexion and it also works with unfiltered computers like someone mentioned.
They erase your URL.
So really those polls are for either young people or people that don't have a life and since on Fanpop, most AI fans were younger than 16 and the Gizzie fans from 28 to 35, it is no wonder AI wins all the poll.
Their fans are younger and have more time to spam the polls for hours.
I meantime have barely 5 minutes to myself.
When will you stop making polls?
I am a Gizzie fan but also a Gexie fan and yes, I did have the same thing happen to me when i voted for Gexie. You vote you want them together and it writes the oppoosite, but this is the only poll that did this for me, so maybe you should check why it does that?
Like some said, if you really want to help, you could write about the Gizzie friendship and say you want it back and it makes no sense they act like strangers.
Those polls are so easy to spam they mean nothing but Shonda believes in them and they only hurt us in the end.

Yeah Gloria, we all want them to be friends, so why don't the mdos here talk about the friendship instead of making another poll on the couple.
I do find the results of the poll weird.
Gizzie has a much bigger fanbase than this poll is suggesting especially since on another site, George is winning the Izzie soulmate poll and the guy she should be with.
In fact on a lot of sites I go to, Gizzie wins polls but here, they always lose with disatrous results,weird.
Then other polls are not that easy to spam.

Thank you all for your comments. Some of you may be reading into this a bit much - the polls are just for fun, we don't claim they are scientific. Our writers have opinions as expressed in Round Table discussions but as far as the rest of the content on our site, are not "rooting" for anyone. In the case of this poll, we are generally interested in our readers' opinions, not trying to prove a point. Thank you for the suggestion of the new George-Izzie friendship poll idea. We'll make it the next one we post! As far as the selection of the video of Izzie-Alex from earlier, ABC made the code available for us to post this particular clip, which is why it was chosen. If you find other clips from the show you would like us to post, please email us - we try to post everything we can, but sometimes, we simply don't find or get to it all because there is so much out there. Maybe most Gizzie fans have just given up, LOL? The AI fans are watching the show, but not the Gizzie ones except a few of them like Greysaddiction.
If the Gizzie fans are not watching, they won't be hanging out in sites and seeing those polls, will they?
You know the Gizzie haters kept saying why do the Gizzie fans post on this site if they have given up? The thing is, it is only a few devoted Gizzie fans still posting here, posting a lot and very vocally but a little number.
Gizzie didn't always do badly on this site, I don't agree. The very first poll on them here had a majority of people wanting them together and there were over 40 000 votes.
When the second poll happened, Gizzie had broken up and now Gizzie are not even friends anymore.
So yeah most Gizzie fans have stopped posting here, watching the show and don't vote anymore.
There is about 30 of us posting here, but the others left. They got a life like they were told and went to another show.
That is also why the last poll on them got a lot less votes than the first.
It is time to face the fact. Most Gizzie fans are gone.
