Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Tuesday Edition
Two more days, people. That's it! As the long, long countdown to the Season Five premiere of Grey's Anatomy nears its end, here are some news and spoilers from E! Online scribe Kristin Dos Santos and her always-entertaining spoiler column.
Q: How is my man Kevin McKidd on Grey's Anatomy?
A: Whoa. You mean my man Kevin McKidd? ... Ahem, anyway? He is awesome. He is actually my most favoritest part of the Grey's Anatomy premiere and leaves me so weak-kneed and apparently weak-tongued that I can't even use proper grammar. (Help!) I think you will adore the interaction between "Major Hottie" (McKidd) and Cristina Yang. He plays a no-BS Army doctor who is so raw and tough and dirty and... suffice to say that if he were to return later in the season, you would have good reason to watch and rewatch every episode of this series.
Q: Grey's Anatomy is back this week! Do spill!
A: Sir, yes sir! Gladly. I've seen this Thursday's two-hour premiere and let me tell you, it is good to have our Seattle Grace friends back — and also good to see that those previews ABC released (Rose pregnant; Derek dying) really weren't true and not a big part of the storyline at all.

Q: Tell us about the Grey's Anatomy premiere, "Dream a Little Dream of Me."
A: Where things are left off with Alex and Izzie at the end of the season premiere are not indicative as to what lies ahead this season. (Remember that so you know what I'm saying after you watch the episode.) Also, one of the docs gets stabbed and Sandra Oh rants at Meredith with something some of you fans have been wanting to say for a while now: "Shut up about Derek!" It is an awesome scene. Look for it.
Q: Is Lauren Stamile really gone for good after the premiere? Please say yes!
A: Yes. And you will see why in the season premiere - she has a weird Dexter-like moment.

can anyone tell me if they are going to be playing the season premiere again later thursday night or friday! i have to go out of state and i wont get back home to watch the show until 11 or 12 thursday night. i dont want to have to watch it online.

PLEASE tell me that Callie will not go gay. Why does Dr. Hahn have to be gay - can't she be a woman in a mostly mans world without being gay? I am SO OVER TV making everyone gay!!!! Callie goes from McSteamy to McDyke? The kiss at the end of last season nearly made me hurl. Please let Erica say - I'm not gay and move on with it!!!!! OVER IT - They are ruining a great show based on their ridiculous need to play down the gay attacks from Isaiah Washington - thats all it is. Yet they make it Gay WOMEN - enough enough enough. Let it GO!~

Aaaaah I want to watch the Season 5 premiere but I'm from Germany so I have to wait for half a year!!

Can't believe no one has commented on the "one of the docs gets stabbed" part!!! I think Rose kills herself, esp. as it hints that she will be gone for good! :p

Gets stabbed is different than stabbing yourself. The earlier sneak said Derek gets stabbed. I am sure someone will intervene before it is too bad! It still may give Mer nightmares tho. Hence the death thingie. I think LOLL!

It was confirmed that Derek gets stabbed? I didn't see that! :( (Maybe it was in one of the vids? Couldn't get them to play). I thought it was a bit much to have him die in a dream and get hurt in "reality" all in one episode... Oh well! :)

ok, so derek gets stabbed. that has to be it, but obv he isnt going to get seriously injured, cuz we all know he doesnt just "disappear." i think rose stabs him, then she gets "dismissed" for doing that. derek gets better, rose leaves, everything is all good.

not about the show!! for one thing Mer immagiens Der getting in that acident!! ( hopefully!! :(:) ) tehn i'm dieing to figure out if Christina is REALLY mad at Merdith!! yeah!!

I completely agree about the gay stuff. Just close your eyes and pretend its not happening. That's what I do. I refuse to let a few.. er... shall we say unappealing... moments between Callie and Erica ruin an otherwise awesome show for me!
Oh and I don't even buy into Callie being a lesbian or bisexual or whatever... it's just not believable for me. With Erica I can kinda see it. But with Callie... no.

I hope we´re getting Cristina back... her telling Meredith to shut up is a good sign, because Cristina has been groveling all season trying to make Hahn like her, it´s been pathetic and humiliating, even worse than her changing for Burke´s benefit. Really glad that Army Dr. is gonna bring her back. And he is hot, too!

I seriously can't wait any longer!
As long as Rose and her stupid antics are gone, I'm happy. As for Derek (and potentially his stabbing), MerDer will only have slight hindrances and they'll get through. So even if he does get stabbed (literally or metaphorically), it'll all be ok. We all love a bit of drama anyway =P And it'll probably be minor. It could even be Cristina with that icicle or whatever... I'm not a huge fan of McKidd though. Grey's already has enough permanent cast members and he doesn't get to me. But it'll be nice to see Cristina with someone again x)
Just to have Grey's back is awesome!!!!

I don't think that I can wait any longer for Thursday to come any more faster. I am glad that Christina took a stand and told Meredith to shut up! Someone needed to say something. As much as I love Meredith and Derek- there is only so much a person can take of them especially if that is all is talked about with one person! But, I am totally excited to see what happens and how they deal with the happily after stuff!

OMG I am so freaking excited it's insane. YEY, so it's true it will be Rose's last time on Grey's. Thank GAWD! I do think that she'll stab Derek. With a scalpel in anger or something... just maybe a lil stab. Not a crazy one. Then she is asked to leave. Muwhahahha. Stupid candy eating devil plant type device. Good riddance! MerDer forever :). I like the fact that there will be a rift in the Cris/Mer friendship. It will give Mer a chance to go to Derek with her problems n such when she has any. Cris usually shoots down all the happy things that happens to Mer anyways... so why not this. I can imagine the fact that when Derek makes the comment "why don't we just get married" casually to Mer... not as a real proposal but just to throw it out there, that Mer going around saying "I would be Mrs Meredith Shepherd" would totally piss Cris off to the max. Hence, "Meredith, SHUT UP!". Not really phases if they aren't the best of friends throughout this season. All i want is to watch my beloved MerDer together forever. I really do believe that they will keep them together this time. Shonda Rhimes said herself that she's so very sick of the on again off again romance... she wants to show us what happens after they get what they want. I totally see a real proposal at the end of this season. :) Here's to hoping. I don't care what's happened in the past with them. Well i do but, they were both to blame for all the problems. They were both ass's. Derek - Wife thing, Derek chooses wife, Mer/Der prom sex (while he's with addy), Mer takes a while to decide its always been Derek, Mer is careless with her life and gives up swimming, Mer doesn't communicate at all, Mer ends it cos she's too scared to commit, They are both to blame for the stupid S&M idea, Der says he'll wait for her, She lets her emotional problems take over and she doesn't get help soon enough, He dates Rose instead to fill a stupid voice, They don't say i love you enough, Derek has sex with Rose (dumb idea)....
But then the wonderfulness that was the season finale. They have both grown so much and now can finally be together. She is all whole and healed (not completely i know but yeah), He knows that he was an idiot for not waiting, She wants a house and kids and the lots with him, No matter what happens to get between them... they always end up back together because a love like theirs is undeniable and eternal, Derek knows he has to dump Rose's ass to not only clear his conscience but to make his and Mer's relationship great. So I think they both needed to go through all the crap that happened in all the previous seasons in order to get where they are now. And where they are now is just perfect :)
Wow i ranted a lot. Oh well :)
