Ellen Pompeo in October Issue of Allure
Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo looks absolutely wonderful on the upcoming, October 2008 cover of Allure Magazine.
She's the best. The publication features various pictures of the beautiful Ellen Pompeo, from the distant and recent past to the present, along with some quotes from the 38-year-old actress. Here are some excerpts:
On being was surprised at Grey’s Anatomy’s popularity: “When I did the pilot, I thought, ‘I can’t stand medical shows. This will never get on.’”
On her 2002 movie, Moonlight Mile: "That movie was, to date, my best experience ever acting. It was a really monumental time for me, and I was absolutely terrified, but everybody helped me through it, and it was amazing."
On marrying Chris Ivery last November: "The weekend we got married ... nobody knew it. I wasn't wearing a wedding ring. I didn't want to go anywhere to buy rings because I didn't want it to leak that we were getting married. My manager went to Cartier for me and bought two plain bands so we'd have something to exchange at the ceremony, but they didn't fit. We just used the rings for the ceremony and took them off."

On pal Diddy: "Puffy's a Scorpio, like me, so we get along famously because only Scorpios truly know what it is to be a Scorpio. He's a lot of fun. We went to the Bahamas with him. He's a generous man, and very fun to go on vacation with — he's the life of the party all the time. He's the person who really wants to enjoy every minute. I've never seen him in a bad mood — I mean, I'm sure he has them, but I've never seen him in a bad mood. He's always so happy, so positive, and really wants to have fun, and will go to any length to make sure everyone in the room has fun."
On her passion for fashion: “Fashion is an art form like any other. All artists love all art. Anything creative — cooking, literature, art. I love it all.”
On catching the acting bug as a child, watching the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall: “Afterward, I stood up and said, ‘That’s what I want to be. That’s what I want to do.’ … [But] I was very sad and introverted as a child, and I would never, ever have had the confidence or the extroverted nature to be in a school play.”

omg i love her so freakin much!!! ahh i cant wait to buy this!!! this is her second time gracing the cover of this very huge magizine shes fabulous and phenominal. and i love her she is the most amazing actress in the world and deserves an emmy ASAP!!!!!

i agree to ms. ellen. scorpions really can get well together...coz they have a skill that others do not have..a skill of deep understanding.. more on listening and understanding... well i do know, coz im also a scorpion just a day ahead to ellen's birthday..
well, goodluck ellen. hope the issue will be a success.. stay simple and cool as you are always..rihgt now, you can there are only few hollywood artist that has a good name.. and your one of them.. that's why your one of my idol..
