Wow. Either Shonda Rhimes is ready to do the unthinkable or she really, really enjoys messing with Grey's Anatomy fans. Perhaps both?
Either way, a shocking sneak preview from the Season Five premiere of Grey's Anatomy, "Dream a Little Dream of Me," has surfaced.
Many of our readers have been expressed the opinion - in response to this week's thought-provoking Grey's Anatomy spoilers - that the scene first hinted at in the now-infamous promo takes place in a dream, or in Meredith's imagination.
But this eliminates any doubt that it does in fact take place. And it's not pleasant.

Talk about gut wrenching, psychotic, intense, heart racing, tear causing, panic attack ridden sneek peak. But i am glad they put this out there, as it just reinforces that it is a dream. Bailey calls time of death... and we all know that Derek doesn't die. SO BLAH!

I can´t imagine that Derek is really going to die, there has to be a happy ending for Meredith and Derek otherwise the show is going to loose many of the fans...
I think this is just a dream of Meredith to show her how much she loves him, or at least I desperately hope so!

Yeah i know...
Its so obvious its a dream. Bailey calls time of death. If he was really going to die... they wouldn't show it in any promo or sneek peak. Also, PD is in Grey's for good. Until it finishes. SO yah.
It has to be a dream kiddies. Thank gawd they aren't going there though. How intense was the sneek peak. Did anyone else cry? OMG! haha. Go Ellen Pompeo though. She needs an emmy already!
