Would You Want Addison Back Full-Time?
Several TV sites and message boards have broached the (hypothetical) topic of Shonda Rhimes and the producers of Grey's Anatomy bringing back Addison Montgomery (Kate Walsh) as permanent fixture at Seattle Grace Hospital again.
One theory behind such a move is that the spin-off, Private Practice, isn't called "Addison's Practice," and that she may actually be better suited to Seattle Grace. Another theory is that Private Practice is destined to go in the tank.
If Private Practice were to go under, we can't see why they wouldn't want Addison back on Grey's Anatomy, but seeing as Private Practice was doing fairly well ratings-wise (what you may think of it personally is another matter), it's unlikely.
Many fans believe Addison's IQ dropped in half the minute she signed on at the Oceanside Wellness Center and loved her Grey's Anatomy cameo this spring. But Private Practice still had some success in its first year, at least on paper.
One unanswered question is whether it can recover from lost momentum after a terribly long hiatus. Not only did Private Practice not return from the writers' strike in spring, not a single repeat aired during or since. What does the future hold?

I would be thrilled to see Addison return to SGH. She's so charismatic, and adds a level of maturity and dark humor to the show that I love. I also enjoy seeing her interact with Bailey, Alex and Callie. I think she's found independence in California, but with her skills she belongs at SGH. I do hope that something works out for her love life, too. She deserves some happiness.

I'm watching Private Practice just because of her but actually I wouldn't miss it at all. What I am missing is Dr Addison Montgomery-Shepherd in GA!! I'm still not over the Shepherd divorce and want them to get back together again. Chemistry between Kate Walsh and Patrick Dempsey has been/is so perfect. I do understand that the main character is supposed to get the great guy but shouldn't this be a sign to them that although they cutted off so many Addek scenes (just read there was a sex scene deleted?! And the shoe/trailer/toothbrush thing)) they couldnt hold back countless GA fans from falling in love with the Addison character and eventually with the Shepherd-couple.
I want her back for good!
What the hell can we do to convince Shonda Rhimes to get her back to GA and to finally get the great guy?? The Mer/Der thing worked out long enough now.

I love Addison and I really, really hope she is going back to Grey´s Anatomy. She always brought in the certain something and I think she was one of the highlights of the show. She brought in some fresh and she always had this fascinating, deep aura around her, what she lost a bit in PP. Also she had a great chemistry to all of the other members of the cast.
Honestly, I wouldn´t care if Private Practice didn´t continue when she went back to GA permanently. Probably it wouldn´t end, but it would just go on without Addison. Personally I think PP is not as half as good and intelligent as GA. Partly I even find it boring (Addison not of course, but she´s lost a bit of her charisma in there).
So for me: Addison permanently back to GA.

Addison was one of my favorite characters on Grey's, I'd LOVE it if she came back!
But no getting in the way of Meredith/Derek!

I usually read all the posts before I post. But not this time. YES I WANT ADDIE BACK AT SGH. She belongs there. That is where her friends are. And I don't know these people at her Ocean Side Office and I can't get attached to them. LOL!!! She needs to come home. Under only one condition. LOL!!! That she don't break up the Mc Dreamy's. I can't deal with another break up. LOL!!! Can we all agree the break up's are getting boring? YES BRING ADDIE HOME!!!!!!!!!
