Grey's Anatomy Spoilers: Rose Sticking Around?
Here's a Grey's Anatomy spoiler from TV Guide that you may not like: Rose may be no shrinking violet when it comes to getting dumped by Derek.
Given the cozy, candle-burning climax of Grey's Anatomy's Season 4 finale, it's no big surprise that Lauren Stamile's run may be nearing its end.
But this oh-so-nice nurse won't be scrubbed out quietly.
Sources reveal that when Rose learns she has been excised from the star surgeon's love life, she plays it cool ... but only with Meredith (Ellen Pompeo).
On the flip side, she is far from laid back about the whole thing with Derek (Patrick Dempsey) the boyfriend she had started to fall in love with.
"I'd count on at least one emotional outburst," said a source on the Grey's Anatomy set. "Rose is not her usual composed self with Derek."
Moreover, while there has been talk that Lauren Stamile will only appear in the two-hour (!) Season 5 opener, there are also rumblings that Rose may remain a thorn (sorry for the pun) in the supercouple's side a bit longer than that.
What do you think? Do you want Rose to wither away for good, or will a little more drama strengthen Grey's Anatomy - and MerDer's relationship?

I guess it's ok for Rose to stay a little bit longer and be like a "Glenn Close/Fatal Attraction" character for MerDer...that should spice it up a bit. What Derek did to her was wrong, they even had sex knowing he is still in love with Meredith. Rose could stay just to give her a respectable exit or ending on her role as the rebound girl of Derek.

I love Mer & Der! I don't really care if Rose stays or not...just as long as Shonda is right....Mer & Der will end up together in the end!

i think it will be good to add a little more drama to mer/der relationship, as long as they stay together, for good!

MerDer have already gone through enough drama to last a lifetime! I think Rose played her part of showing Derek how he really loves Meredith, and now she should quietly go back to the garden.
And a two hour season premiere! Hell yeah!

Just as long as Derek breaks up with her, I really don't care if she's on the show. She doesn't fit it AT ALL, but I guess I can stand it for a few more episodes. And if she's "playing it cool only in front of Meredith" that means that she and Derek are most likely done. As long as merder's forever, I really don't care if Rose stays for a little while longer. If they make her a regular, I might just stop watching.

I like Rose a lot. Especially for the show. I think she is a perfect addition to the drama that takes place on Grey's already.Lover of Derek's or not they should find a way to keep her on.

If Rose stays for just one more episode to wrap up her plot device and to make Derek own up to his mistakes,then its okay. Anything more than that is just a waste of time and prevents the story progression of the already bloated cast. The Merder saga can still continue and generate drama on its own without Rose beng there. If Shonda would want the fans to watch season 5, the plant needs go ASAP!

I think Rose should be allowed to stay for a little while. I don't want her to become a series regular, but she can stay. As long as she doesn't add to the already extensive Mer/Der drama, she can stay for a bit.

I actually liked Rose as a character and I hope she sticks around for a little while. Shonda said Derek and Meredith will be together for good so I am not worried about her influence on Merder. I did, however, hate the way Derek treated her. She deserved better than that.

Get rid of her already! Give our regulars more screen time, not her. Hell, Ellen Pompeo didn't get enough screen time to be an Emmy Nominee...give her the extra time. Mer/Der...the reason most of us watch.

It´s okay for Rose to stay. But no more Merder drama because off her PLEASE. Merder in season 1 together, in season 2 appart, in season 3 together, in season 4 together hen appart then together. Let Merder built that house together....

The only reason I watched this year was because of Rose.She's a bright no nonsense actress who lends a breadth of fresh air to the show.I am tired of Merder and their traumas. Let them get back together and put Rose with Dr. McSteamy. She and Eric Dane would put some life back into the show. All the nurses I know love Rose because her character is an intelligent nurse who doesn't seem to need to drop into bed with every doc in the show..She did fix the surg. computer when she first started!! Keep her she good besides being beautiful!!!

if she sticks around...?!? it would be too boring cuz we saw that already with addison and the way shonda developed her charachter was fanfreakintastic!!! and ther´s no way that could work out for rose now bcz we´vw already seen that...
and if she won´t ruin merder (id don´t want that ofcourse :) ) what can she do?!?

So...if that's the case then IS ROSE GOING TO BE PREGNANT? Hmmmmm....That would be WAY TOO Soap Opera style but they DID sleep together right before the end of the season as he told Mark....Just a thought?

Keeping Rose is a great thing for Grey"s!! The show has been a little stale and needs to have some life---Mer needs to go, not Rose!
