Q: I’ve got a burning Grey’s Anatomy question leftover from your TV Guide days: Which of those many Season Four finale smooches was the big “major kiss no one would see coming” that Shonda Rhimes alluded to?
A: Well, contrary to popular belief, she was not referring to Mer and Der’s candlelit trailer park pucker. As Shonda Rhimes said, although she feels all of the kisses featured in the episode “were worth leaning into the television for,” the one she felt was the most surprising “was Alex and Izzie. But my personal favorite is Bailey kissing Baby Tuck."
Q: Is Katherine Heigl still employed at Grey’s Anatomy?
A: She showed up to this season’s first table read last week, so it looks like it. Oh, to be a fly on that wall.
Q: Got anything new on Grey’s Anatomy? Please tell me they’ve gotten rid of Rose!
A: Nope, she (i.e. Lauren Stamile) was at the staff table read, too! And as TV Guide reported yesterday, she was doing what she does best: stirring up trouble!
Q: Please make our week by spilling anything you know about the Shonda Rhimes-penned two-hour Grey's Anatomy Season Five premiere.
A: There will be a slight time lapse between the May finale and the new season premiere. We’re talking more than a few days and less than a month.
Q: Any Grey's Anatomy scoop, specifically related to Callie and Erica?
A: There’s a rumor going around that Callie will start off the season pregnant (with a little McSteamy in the oven), but a reliable Grey’s Anatomy insider insists it’s “not true.” What do you think about all of this?

omg!!!!!!!!! i think Callie is going to be pregnant but they to surprise everyone so they are denying it. and why is she still around???? i thought she was supposed to only be there till the end of season 5!!!!! she needs to go far far away from mer/der!!!!!!! she cant break them up again!!!!!!!!!

AH! OMG! iff callie isn't the one pregnant, that only leads to meredith, she might be the one pregnant, but idkk... i hope meredith is the pregger onee. andddddd rose, well, it's part of the healing process for merder i think, and the time lapse, okay? ihave tto see it to say waht ii thinkk. loll

omg. if its not callie then its meredith. shes the only one that can be preggers! rose wont be preggers because shonda already said it wont be!
omg. rose needs to go. i cant stand her or anyone who comes between mer/der!

Yeah, to be honest, by putting it in quotes that Callie is not pregnant, makes it even more suspicious that she is. But also, it just says that she won't start off the season that way. Doesn't mean that it won't happen later on.

I think it would be adorable to see a mcbaby from derek and meredith. I am getting sick of rose lingering over derek. Time lapse? at least it isnt five years like the peeps at desperate housewives are doing. The kiss? Shonda thought that alex and izzie was suprising? for once i dont agree with her. I am standing by Meredith and derek, it was an awesome kiss even if you could predict it.

a time lapse? good. that supports my theory. I think they'll show meredith in the candle lit house on the "last season on grey's anatomy" part. and they'll open the new season with meredith in the newly built and finished house! whooo!

Hm.. why do people hate Rose so much??? Poor Rose. It's not like she "stole" Derek on purpose. She fell in love. It's not her fault. :)

I hope Mer is pregnant, but Izzie could be pregnant because I remember Alex saying "Just this one night." Then there is a time lapse, so Izzie could be pregnant too. I think Alex would break down if Izzie was pregnant because of Ava. Also,do u think Meredith is ready for kids, maybe for marriage but not kids just yet. I can imagine her trying to get an abortion behind Derek's back. On the contrary, Meredith has grown so maybe she is ready.Cannot wait unit September 25

What I wanna know is if something "MAJOR" is going to happen to Derek on his way to tell Rose that it is over.... Accident maybe? He did leave Meredith just standing there waiting.

No nothing major is going to happen to Derek. Shonda said two things that I specifically remember. 1) Rose will not end up pregnant. 2) Derek won't get into a crash or anything big like that while going over to tell Rose and back and stuff.

You all realize that she is just saying those things aren't going to happen because she legally can't realese info on season 5. And by saying that something isn't going to happen there's a chance she's saying it because it actually isn't going to happen, but most likely she is saying that because she wants to raise suspision and add that suprise factor when something big happens.

What would happen if the brain surgeon got in an accident and had head trauma??Then Seattle grace would have a real problem!!

number one Izie better not leave the show... her and Alex are the best 2 ever... and i hope they're a couple now, and its not just 1 night... hope so hops so hope so :)
and yup season 5 better have some spice cuz honestly 3 and 4 werent as hot as 2... season 2 was actually the best ever!
and i seriously hope Calie leaves... cuz her and Erica... nasty couple!
i just hope rose isnt pregnant... that wud ruin everything

I surely think that Izzie and Alex are so damn good together - it has to happen. Pregnant - can be Izze or Callie, Callie wanted a baby remember? or was that just to keep George? Rose --- I simply feel sorry for her, Derek used her, not her fault. Absolutely in love with George!!!

It would be so DH, if Derek got into a car accident, or something happened to him. And I hope that SOMEONE would be pregnant . I hope it's Meredith, but if it's Callie, it's OK . Obviously Izzie and Alex are going to be together, but if Denny comes back, in dreams or something, Izzie might just break up with Alex. I think it would be cool to see Meredith pregnant. I mean Rose's reaction, and all. Callie's pregnancy would maybe still be cooler. Mark finding out about it, or Erika's first thoughts about it. And it would be totally outrageous to see Callie's dads reaction. :D
