California has legalized gay marriage, but Grey's Anatomy star T.R. Knight and boyfriend Mark Cornelsen won't be walking down the aisle just yet.
But they are happily living together.
"Mark just moved here from San Francisco," Knight said.
Mark Cornelsen and T.R. Knight have been together for months.
The Grey's Anatomy actor dismissed rumors they're planning to wed - and that he'll being officiating at his own commitment ceremony.
"Just to clarify, we are not having a commitment ceremony and I am not performing a commitment ceremony," he told Us Weekly.
He did laud the state supreme court's ruling and said the legalization of gay marriage in California gave him an "extraordinary feeling."
"Once you are given something that you were never allowed before, you realize how much of a second class person you were before," T.R. Knight said.
"That is horrible and fantastic at the same time. It makes me want to sob and scream with joy all at the same time."
"The floodgates have been opened will never be closed," Cornelsen added.
Despite his youth, Mark Cornelsen, 19, has been receiving a warm welcome from the rest of the Grey's Anatomy cast.
"Someone in particular, I won't mention names told me, 'You know I like him more than I like you, right?'" the actor, 35, joked.
"They said it about three or four times so it's kind of not as funny as it was the first time anymore. They love him ... They're like, 'When is he coming?' They want him there."
"They're all wonderful and so sweet," Cornelsen said.
"It's amazing."

That 19 yr old better not be in it for the money or fame...TR is a good guy. He dosnt deserve to be hurt.

Horrible taste in dressing, both of them. As for TR being a 'good guy', I dunno... way back when he pulled that stunt that he was 'forced' to 'come out' due to I. Washington's remarks? (anyone remember that fiasco?) 'Forced to come out'? Are you kidding me? It's not as if this fact would have nixed his chances in Hollywood, so why even bother to make that comment? I think he just wanted to attract some attention, to compensate for his lack of acting skills.

If TR wanted to get attention, he would have milked the IW situation for all that it is worth like Isaaih did when he would nto shut up about it. TR kept quiet for months about it, in case you do not remember. Then IW lied at the GG and said he had never called him this name. TR was scheduled to appear on Ellen before this happen and when she asked him if IW had said the word or not, he said yes and he had never been called that before and he looked ill at ease discussing it then he talked about something else. He never mentioned the situation again. In fact when IW was doing the circuit making terrible accsuations against TR, he never commented, which he would have done if he wanted the attention as you said. Katie wanted him to talk and he said no. The reporters wanted his opinion and he said no comment. In fact when they asked him about it a few weeks back, he said this was water under the bridge and he was so over it and wanted to move on.
He never said he was forced to come out. In fact in a magazine, he said everyone had told hi m not to and he did it because he WANTED to, not because of the incident, so not sure where you are getting he said that. He never did, the journalists and fans said it.
TR is super shy and shies away from attention, not the opposite. Katie and IW did all the talking, he stayed quiet except for the one time he talked to deny the lies IW had told at the Golden Globe.
And give me a break, TR is an amazing actor, he has the most expressive face ever, is a genius at comedy and can make me laugh and cry.
Way better than IW with his look at me, I am in love with myself.
Let me guess, you are an homophobe who agreed with IW when he talked and thinks gay people should just accept those comments when they get them.
IW is lucky TR is a class act and doesn't call him for the jerk that he is.
Ever wonder why all the Grey cast adores TR and they all hate IW and everyone is saying how they are so relieved IW is gone because he bossed them around, and was such a jerk to all the women, in fact I hear they got him fired.
As for Mark being younger, get over it, tons of men date very very young women, look at Larry King, Jack Nicholson, Ted Kennedy.
Age difference don't matter a bit, they are obviously happy but yes if Mark hurts him, I will be very angry, I want TR happy.

Anyway just because they legalized gay marriage in California doesn't mean every gay couple who lives there are going to get married. Geesh!
