If Kathryn has plans for the show to become Steven's Anatomy, based on two successful movie roles, she has another think coming. I've always felt that, next to the other costars, she has had larger roles all along. Chandra is so talented - she deserves that Emmy!

If the show suddenly becomes Izzy's Anatomy because of Heigl's misplaced temper tantrum then I for one will stop watching.
Heigl has freedom of speech, but then again, SO DO THE WRITERS! The writers gave her a "gateway" to her romantic - comedy movie success that is now, and she says that the don't give her emmy winning material? I don't think so. And if anything gets anywhere NEAR to Izzie's/Stevens's Anatomy, I'm not watching.
By the way, I think that only a MORON would overlook actresses like Chandra Wilson or Ellen Pompeo, or Sandra Oh. ANY of them deserve and Emmy.

All I gotta say is what a cheap shot she took at the writers. I'm sorry but first of all I do NOT watch Grey's Anatomy for her character. I do like her, but these statments that she is saying are ridiculous. She needs to look at the big picture, she has become the great actress and this great fame through the show. She even had evil things to say about Knocked Up, I was hearing. You would think that being her first big film and it did really good, she wouldn't knock it. Its really sad to see how big her ego is getting, and she's really letting it take over. I went to the Grey's Anatomy fundraiser they threw for the writers for the strike, and she says this? Wow, im really disappointed in here. I'm sure her fans are rethinking who she really is.

If you watch any of her movies...you will find out that Katherine is an EXTREMELY gifted actress. To watch her in 27 dresses, Knocked Up, and The Ringer (just to name a few) and then see her in Grey's with the storylines they give her....you will understand where she is coming from. I mean seriously people. She accepted and WON the award last year. She did SO MUCH in Grey's last year. Remember her drilling holes into a guy's head? Remember her keeping that check on the fridge and then giving it to make the clinic? Or how about helping pay for that girl's back surgery? Aside from the finale, give me ONE good storyline that Izzie has been a part of in season 4. SHE RESCUED A DEER!!! The writers have made her into this cheesy little girl who resembles nothing of someone who came from a trailer park and fought like hell to get through medical school. It shows no backbone or the woman who we learned to take control. I agree that she should have kept her reasoning for turning the nomination down to herself, but she really is right. If she was selfish and self-centered, she would not have turned down an Emmy nomination! The writers need to keep their matters private instead of letting the public get ahold of this material and making the whole show look bad.

Frankly, if you don't get paid enough, FIND ANOTHER JOB and let someone else give it a try! I wish they would have fired ALL of the writers and brought in some better ideas! The writers were too busy looking at striking than writing suitable material for us to watch. They completely messed up my favorite show to the point that I won't be watching the new season. I am a fan of her and I did like her character the best in the 1st and 2nd seasons. True, she is not getting great story lines this season, but she should keep her mouth shut and not publicly slam the writers like that. I cringe everytime she opens her mouth and makes some kind of back handed inslt to those who may have helped launched her career. If she publicly apologizes for those comments, I may be able to let this go. Until then I wish she would shut the hell up.

I have read all the comments and about 50 to 60% say that they are tired of her whining on the show and won't mind it if her character is let go. You are simply proving KH's point!
