What a brilliantly crafted piece of television! The writing has a coherence and layering that is pretty damn rare in television, and the acting was, at times, breathtaking. Special thanks to the writers for not chickening out on the Callie / Erica relationship developing. For those of us who know what we're talking about, it's spot on. Thanks to the writers for removing our invisibility, and to the actors for bringing it to us.

love it love it love it.

We all have differnent opinions and that's cool!

Just please remember respect, nobody deserves disrespect just because of who they love.

this may sound hippie-ish or mushie or whatever.

but just imagine the world if we could all love one another for who we are, you could be totally comfortable around a complete stranger, knowing there's no judgment only understanding.

i think we'll have that one day.

Thank you ABC for this couple! Whoever says that there's no chemistry there and that it's rushed - have you not been watching the past few episodes? I have rarely seen a couple on TV that seems so well suited and so utterly convincing to me. And so romantic and so hot at the same time. I would easily believe that these two have found their soulmate.
Actually, I believe that basically neither Callie not Erica are gay - they just fell in love with someone wonderful, and this happends to be another woman!
I love the way Callie uses sex with Mark to compensate for her confused feelings for Erica. Mark and Callie have a chemistry, too, but I think it's more on a friendship/fling level. As for that, they're quite well suited - it's a fair game;-)
All in all, I wish I had that chemistry with someone - a man or a woman. I am not a lesbian, but I have been watching that last kiss over and over again. I can't wait to see how they continue!

I have been watching this show since the beginning and Erica/Callie are my favorite couple so far. It is a change not only for us as viewers, but also for the characters in the show. I am a lesbian and it is nice seeing love portayed in a different manner. To sarah and some of the other ignorant people out there..it is 2008! This is how life is. Two people can be in love no matter their gender. Not everyone falls in love based on looks. Just grow up or else who cares if you no longer watch the show. I feel this is one of the best things to happen to the show!

reading some of these comments was very disappointing. i hope whoever wrote some of them were young and still unaware of the "real world" because if an adult is that naive i feel sorry for them. love is love people. a man can love a man and a woman can love a women. it happens more than you think. look around. not only in humans but species of birds and even dolphins mate with the same sex and that is a known fact. please open your minds and try to know people for who they are. not who they love.

Oh Sarah....I didn't read all of your post....Cause your and idiot.....Stop with the Gay and Lesbisn bashing. PLEASE!!! What is the deal with you people? If you all are this disgusted with Gay people you would run as far from this site and this show as you could....My God!!! What is your deal? If your offended by US don't watch our programs. And leave us to HELL alone. I have had enough, but I won't be quiet. Until Grey's Anatomy Insider kicks me out of here. And then I will go some where else. Cause closed minded people like you are every where. I am quiet and don't cause any problem until ppl like you give me a reason. Damn it is and hour. Turn off the F--king TV if your offended by Grey's. I myself LOVE it. Cause they tell the truth. Love is Love!!! It don't matter if it is between 2 women or 2 man. Or a woman and man. It is all the same. So try and find love in your heart. Cause as long as the world is here we will still be around. Us Gay folk!!!

I love it how people are saying "Since when is Callie gay?" Having a relationship with a woman and still clearly intrested in men, to an extent, makes her bisexual. But has anyone ever thought that maby she's just attracted to a women this one time?...it doesn't make her fully gay! People have attractions to same sex members all the time and they aren't gay, it's an emotion you can't control so stop moaning about it and just watch the two amazing actresses on the show do their thing!

  9. DEBBIE HOLLAND Says:

HEY GOOD DEAL SHRAH, YOU SHOULD FEEL VERY HAPPY....THE WHOLE LESBIAN THING GOT CANNED. :) IT JUST DON'T MATTER HOW HURT US LESBIANS ARE AS LONG AS YOU ARE HAPPY!!!!! AT SOME POINT YOU MIGHT TRY AND LOOK AT HOW OTHERS FEEL. MIGHT OPEN UP YOUR EYES. BUT THEN IF YOUR MIND IS SO CLOSED IT WON'T!!!!!

  10. kelly Says:

I have watched for years and since the lesbian addition I will no longer be watching. This was one of the few shows where there were no gay or lesbian activity. I have been greatly disappointed.

  11. tina Says:
