I have to agree with my friend Anne in that I think Erica and Callie should have remianed friends to show the power of friendship. However, I think the issue of homosexuality in women is a vital one. However, I think that a relationship between Izzie and Bailey would have been a better choice on Shonda's part. Their chemistry in the scene where Bailey gives Izziethe clinic is explosive!! Also, it's a perfect time as both characters do not have much going on. Izzie is hanging on Alex's plot line and Bailey is newly single. It would be really interesting to see how they would raise young Tuck. Their relationship would be one of contrasts: woman/woman, black/white, old/young, established doctor/not established, pretty/ugly, short/tall. I think it'll happen. Hold thumbs guys.

    Peace out

  2. Nicole Says:

I think that it is someones personality that people fall in love with.
I think its cute that erica and callie are together.

I also think its great to put on for people who are qustioning their sexualty.

For the people who don't like erica(brook smith) I really just don't understand why. She's a charatear who tells the truth stright out to someone. And she is not ugly!

For the record I would like to tell you people that I'm stright. I just support gays.

And those of you who will not watch grey's anthomy because of gays then you should of stoped wathing grey's anthomy a long time ago because T.R knight is gay.

    Nicole

  3. Doc Says:

    To Sarah: GET A LIFE!!

  4. Tee Says:

Thank you Doc and Nicole. Sarah should get a life, we are no longer living in the 1920's. Erica is certaingly not ugly, her assertivness is very attractive and I think that her and Callie make a great couple. It is not often that we see gay women on tv, other then programmes that have homosexuality as there central theme (L word), it is refreshing. Sheperd and Meredith are stale and its time for something, or someone new to revive the show to its former glory. Well done to Shonda and the team. I hope that the obviously passion filled kiss exchanged between Erica and Callie will develop into something. I eagerly await the season 5.

  5. LovinMERDER Says:

We have one good, whole, and true friendship on Grey's Anatomy. Cristina and Meredith. That friendship is sometimes what makes the episodes. Why can you not leave Callie and Hahn with a true friendship? Why ruin it by forcing these characters to be lesbians? I wasn't aware that ABC would even allow homosexual action like has been in the past few episodes. I have to say that I am extremely dissapointed as I expected more from this show. There are so many other things you can do with these two characters than grossing your audience out with lesbian kissing. I trust that you will fix this so that I and many others can continue watching the show and keep our supper down at the same time.

  6. Doc Says:

To Tee: Totally agree with you, i hope we will see much more Callie/Erica in next season!

  7. maggie Says:

omg! Izzie and Bailey would be amazing! I've personally have wanted it since day one. Go back to the first season and see how loving Bailey is with Izzie. She's always loved Izzie more than any of the other interns. Make it happen, Shonda.

  8. Callie4ev Says:

Callie/Erica wasn't expecting them to make callie be interesting in Hahn but any fool could realize they were gonna do that from addison came back..Personally I don't have a problem with it, I think it makes the show interested I'm tired of only hoping on Merder relationship, it was time for something new. For those who oppose you are all being ignorant this is 2008 gay people are apart of our society and since grey's is a revolutionary show that touches on every aspect of reality it only made sense to include a story line like this. I'm so looking forward to this story line in season 5.

  9. Callie4ev Says:

To sarah: What you are saying is entirely ignant!!!! I understand that everyone has their views but who are you to talk down on people like that. The show is great, and if you really hate gay people that much maybe you should have stopped watching grey's a long time ago because TR knight (George) he's gay in real life in fact thats the reason why Burke got fired in the first place because he called him a faggot. I loved Burke's character but he screwed up and he deserved to be fired. You also keep saying Erica hahn is ugly in case you never knew not everyone is going to be up to your standard of pretty, she is pretty fine to alot of people. Views like that make people hate the way they look and go through dramatic extremes to change. You have no right to coment or judge anyone you need to take along look at yourself and who you are inside, because you certainly must have some deep issues within or outward to be that malicious

  10. Theresa Says:

I loved the season finale of Grey's!!! I watched it last night, so I am two weeks behind. I am straight, but also support gays. I think Callie and Hahn will be great together. I think Callie may have always been gay because her love for George actually seemed more forced than Hahn's. Callie was the man in relationship with George, but the roles have switched with her and Hahn. I think next season will be great and I love the new romances and stories that will unfold. Does anyone think Rose is pregnant? I have a feeling that Der won't come back to Mer because Rose will be expecting!!!

What a brilliantly crafted piece of television! The writing has a coherence and layering that is pretty damn rare in television, and the acting was, at times, breathtaking. Special thanks to the writers for not chickening out on the Callie / Erica relationship developing. For those of us who know what we're talking about, it's spot on. Thanks to the writers for removing our invisibility, and to the actors for bringing it to us.

  12. KC Says:

love it love it love it.

We all have differnent opinions and that's cool!

Just please remember respect, nobody deserves disrespect just because of who they love.

this may sound hippie-ish or mushie or whatever.

but just imagine the world if we could all love one another for who we are, you could be totally comfortable around a complete stranger, knowing there's no judgment only understanding.

i think we'll have that one day.

  13. Marie Says:

Thank you ABC for this couple! Whoever says that there's no chemistry there and that it's rushed - have you not been watching the past few episodes? I have rarely seen a couple on TV that seems so well suited and so utterly convincing to me. And so romantic and so hot at the same time. I would easily believe that these two have found their soulmate.
Actually, I believe that basically neither Callie not Erica are gay - they just fell in love with someone wonderful, and this happends to be another woman!
I love the way Callie uses sex with Mark to compensate for her confused feelings for Erica. Mark and Callie have a chemistry, too, but I think it's more on a friendship/fling level. As for that, they're quite well suited - it's a fair game;-)
All in all, I wish I had that chemistry with someone - a man or a woman. I am not a lesbian, but I have been watching that last kiss over and over again. I can't wait to see how they continue!

  14. Heather Says:

I have been watching this show since the beginning and Erica/Callie are my favorite couple so far. It is a change not only for us as viewers, but also for the characters in the show. I am a lesbian and it is nice seeing love portayed in a different manner. To sarah and some of the other ignorant people out there..it is 2008! This is how life is. Two people can be in love no matter their gender. Not everyone falls in love based on looks. Just grow up or else who cares if you no longer watch the show. I feel this is one of the best things to happen to the show!

reading some of these comments was very disappointing. i hope whoever wrote some of them were young and still unaware of the "real world" because if an adult is that naive i feel sorry for them. love is love people. a man can love a man and a woman can love a women. it happens more than you think. look around. not only in humans but species of birds and even dolphins mate with the same sex and that is a known fact. please open your minds and try to know people for who they are. not who they love.

  17. The Dimps Says:

Oh Sarah....I didn't read all of your post....Cause your and idiot.....Stop with the Gay and Lesbisn bashing. PLEASE!!! What is the deal with you people? If you all are this disgusted with Gay people you would run as far from this site and this show as you could....My God!!! What is your deal? If your offended by US don't watch our programs. And leave us to HELL alone. I have had enough, but I won't be quiet. Until Grey's Anatomy Insider kicks me out of here. And then I will go some where else. Cause closed minded people like you are every where. I am quiet and don't cause any problem until ppl like you give me a reason. Damn it is and hour. Turn off the F--king TV if your offended by Grey's. I myself LOVE it. Cause they tell the truth. Love is Love!!! It don't matter if it is between 2 women or 2 man. Or a woman and man. It is all the same. So try and find love in your heart. Cause as long as the world is here we will still be around. Us Gay folk!!!

  18. SwaggerJacker Says:

I love it how people are saying "Since when is Callie gay?" Having a relationship with a woman and still clearly intrested in men, to an extent, makes her bisexual. But has anyone ever thought that maby she's just attracted to a women this one time?...it doesn't make her fully gay! People have attractions to same sex members all the time and they aren't gay, it's an emotion you can't control so stop moaning about it and just watch the two amazing actresses on the show do their thing!

  19. DEBBIE HOLLAND Says:

HEY GOOD DEAL SHRAH, YOU SHOULD FEEL VERY HAPPY....THE WHOLE LESBIAN THING GOT CANNED. :) IT JUST DON'T MATTER HOW HURT US LESBIANS ARE AS LONG AS YOU ARE HAPPY!!!!! AT SOME POINT YOU MIGHT TRY AND LOOK AT HOW OTHERS FEEL. MIGHT OPEN UP YOUR EYES. BUT THEN IF YOUR MIND IS SO CLOSED IT WON'T!!!!!
