Ellen Pompeo Visits The Late Show
Dressed in white, Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo looked totally flawless as she arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater for a taping of an interview for The Late Show with David Letterman in New York City on Monday afternoon.
The interview of the 38-year-old Grey's Anatomy actress and wife of Chris Ivery won't air until this Friday, but here are some pics of Ellen. Click to enlarge!

I agree Ellen looks great here! I wish they would let her look like that as Meredith. And I'm glad to see her hair is still lightened. Hopefully, the show will let her keep that look.
I wonder how she was able to fly to NY on Monday while they are filming GA? I mean since they have gone back to work now. Normally, you hear the cast say they are on the set like 10-12 hours a day. But, I saw pics of PD from yesterday from the signing of his new AVON deal too. (That could have been at night though). Maybe since they only have (5) episodes to do, their daily hours are not that long like they normally would be. I read somewhere that they started filming episode (2) this week.(??)

Wow, Ellen, marriage and happiness look great on you!! I love the lightened hair-- really glowing! I am SO looking forward to new epi's. I have been filling the time with re-watching Season 3. I just finished 12. You know what was so dark about it (besides Thatcher bringing up so many issues for Mer)? That whole thing w/ Burke and Christina and his hand tremor. THAT was too dark for me. How I loved Addie though. She was fantastic. And Mer and Der. I absolutely can not wait to see Mer Der grow TOGETHER. Thanks Shonda! And thanks to Ellen and Patrick for making Mer & Der so fantastic!!

The article says Pompeo will air on Letterman on Friday... Here in Atlanta, the show will air on Thursday. :)
