Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Together For Good
When Grey’s Anatomy returns from its long, writers strike-induced hiatus, its first new episode back, on April 24, is titled “Where the Wild Things Are.”

We’ve read a lot of what follows already, but the Chicago Tribune has some interesting Grey’s Anatomy spoilers that might be of note to some of you.

Our girl Meredith Grey becomes more assertive and grows “very strong” in the first episode back from the strike. She’s taking steps to move forward with her life and dealing with the fact that she’s no longer with McDreamy.
George and Izzie (Gizzie) come to grips with the realization that they’re better off being friends (a realization that has sparked great controversy).
The beautiful Kate Walsh will be back for a guest appearance in the second of the five post-strike episodes of Grey’s Anatomy. Her character, Dr. Addison Montgomery, is urgently needed at Seattle Grace to perform a special operation.
Lauren Stamile, a.k.a. Nurse Plot Device, will still be around when Grey’s Anatomy returns. And Elizabeth Reaser, who plays the former patient, of Dr. Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), Rebecca/Ava/Jane Doe, will be returning as well.

For the many Grey’s Anatomy fans still deeply invested in the turbulent Meredith-Derek relationship, the couple does get back together “for good” before the end of the current (fourth) season. Dun-dun-dun! You may celebrate at will.

I am thrilled about the Mer/Der news. I am a HUGE Mer/Der fan!! I have read that they are bringing in a therapist in these last few epsiodes which tells me that Meredith is going to FINALLY get the help she needs to continue to move forward. I can’t wait to see how everything unfolds!
I know Patrick and Ellen have got to be as excited as the fans are. At least they now know where their characters are headed! I wish we would get some pictures of the cast since they have gone back to work. It would be nice to see them back on the Grey’s set like we did at the beginning of the season. Maybe that will happen before the season starts back, I hope so. I would love to see a NEW pic of Patrick and Ellen together! That would be nice.

This is such good news! I really like that this news has gone so public (even worldwide now) so that if Shonda backs off it, then she’s finally put an end to any type of credibility she has. Knowing she’s got that at stake, I doubt she’ll back off and feel confident she will actually take the time to write them well. How they get back together this season really does not play as much into my factor of being happy as REALLY watching a relationship of value develop in season 5! I’m beyond happy at the thought.

I looked at the whole article and Shonda’s quote was that they’ll definitely be back together “for good” by the end of this season. Which means that she could very well go back and break them up, yet again, for next season. They asked her about a marriage or ring, and she wouldn’t confirm or deny. The only way I’d be convinced that they will be back together is if there is a ring involved, although, this is Grey’s Anatomy and as we saw with Cristina, even having a wedding actually taking place doesn’t guarantee that a marriage will occur. After the past 1.5 seasons, I remain skeptical.

The “for good” comment leads me to believe that MerDer will be getting engaged at the end of this season. However, I think Meredith will be the one to propose! What better way to show her commitment to McDreamy than ask him to be her husband?
This is a very good news I am also a huge fun of mer/der.but the last few episodes they did’nt have much show & fun on TV hope new one’ll have more story with them.I agree with Kathy wish and love to see more new pic of Ellen&Patrick together.I love ELLEN !

I’m so happy that merder are finally going to be together. I just hope it’s not too late ya know. We’ve been complaining for so long and a lot of people just gave up. I mean does anyone remember at the beginning of Season Four Shonda said ‘Derek lover Meredith more than anything. I CANNOT IMAGINE DEREK GOING ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN MEREDITH’. Around this time she had to have been casting Lauren Stamille. She was just trying to reel the audience back in for the new season. I’m staying sceptical. Also she must have kept PD and EP in the dark because i remember an interview with PD around the same time saying he’d love to see meredith and derek getting married. Why would he have said that if he knew about Rose. He would have said something about Derek needing to move on. I don’t think the actors would have been too happy if they did know but Thank God shonda is listening to them and us now. Here’s hoping

hmmm…if it ends with them together for good i dont think the cliff-hanger is going to be derek proposing. he has already told mer he wants to marry her. maybe they get together in the 4th ep or something and she proposes to him at the end of the 5th ep or something akin to that. like shows her a map of what her dream house (with him) would look like or something like that.
so excited for this show to be back! and glad kate is coming back. my thoughts are that she’ll say something to derek that will make him realize he’s supposed to be with mer (i mean she–addison–saw how into her he was when they(addison and derek) were together.

I just want grey´s a belated Happy 3rd Birthday for yesterday. it aired in th U.S. on the 27th of March 05. Here in Ireland we didn´t get till Sep 30th 06 & after the 1st seasson they took off the air for 9 months. Which was horrible imagine it no McDreamy for 9 months.
im so happy and excited. I dont know how to feel i actually didnt watch episode 411 because i just couldnt watch them break up. i am so excited about the next episode which is great because i havent been excited about a greys episode since 401!!!! maybe 402!! I am also glad that Mer doesnt fall apart like the last time. This time she is strong and faces life without Derek which shows how much she has grown. I just cant wait for rose to go and also ava because alex belongs with lexie!!!
dont really mind on the gizzie thing. Izzie and george are great either way. I hope they remain best friends though if they break up because they were great as best friends!

Who can ask for more? How many more days!!!!!!!!!! I can’t wait! I was so excited to hear that they are finally letting MER grow-up and be strong! The episode of “Crash Into Me” where she tells Han to “SHUT-UP”, takes control of that tough scene and gets the balls to tell DER not to date anyone but her is one of my favorite episodes from this season. This new MER should really be tempting to DER………. no wonder he is going to want her back ASAP and drop yucky Rose! I was thinking along the same lines as some of you that maybe MER will be the one to ask DER to marry her or DER is finally going to agree to some time and tells MER to let him know when she is ready! I could live with either! 27 Days and counting!

i am a huge greys fan, i watch it almost every night, wathcing right now as we speak by the way but i just have questions that dont seem to make sense to mee.
first off it doesnt make sense that season 1-3 happened in a year, all the stuff that went down, how is mer still walking? i be in on the 5th floor at seattle grace (pysch)
however how does mer have a sister a year younger then her if thatcher and ellis didnt split up till mer was 5?
and another one, that house, mer says in the first epsiode it was her mothers house.. if ellis took off when mer was 5 for boston that means she hasnt been in seattle for 20 years so why does she still have the house? i highly doubt she sold it and mer just happened to get the same house.. and we all know its the same house because mer says it and so does thatcher..
and another question this might be stupid but im not a doctor so idk, to be a what degrees do you need? you go to college and then med school right? because cristina went to 3 colleges ( smither, berekly and stanford ) she has a B.A, PH.D and an M.D

Honestly S4 sucked! Not as rich in character development for the whole cast like S1, S2 and even S3.

okay i have to say ITS ABOUT TIME!! i have been a mer-der fan since the very begining, as have many others. iso addison shows up in season ones finalle and we are left hanging, not knowing what the heck is happening. and then season twos finle we don’t know who she is going to choose between derek and finn. and of course season threes finale we don’t know if they are broken up for good or not. i for one want a season finale where derek and merediths reationship is not a spoiler. i will scream and dance around when mer-der actually get together!!!

The thought of watching McDreamy and Rose (or McBoring as I like to call her) makes me want to not watch the show…BUT since I’m promised a MerDer reunion and a “for good” reunion at that! I shall continue to watch what was once my favorite show. I long to see my favorite couple steaming up the screen in the very near future. Let’s hope they can recreate the MerDer chemisty that has kept us watching. I won’t miss Rose at all.

Tiffany, are you kidding me…”Spicy” with Derek and the nurse. The sight of them together makes me want to puke. Rose is a little bit old to be so sugary sweet and bubblegummy! She ain’t no teeny-bopper. Nothing could be spicier than when MerDer reunited on prom night. Everytime he looks at Mer you can see the chemistry. I love that you can already see that Derek just isn’t that into Rose.
Finally! I can relax and enjoy the show. If they weren’t getting back together-I was truly finished.
