God, the strike is driving me crazy.

I am getting crazy watching reruns every freakin day.

  2. meh Says:

No, sportsgurl, the strike is in fact NOT over. Do some actual research before you believe a headline put up on this site to be fact, as it is quite clearly not. "basically over" and "over" are far from the same thing.

  3. Eve Says:

    Great news, people !!!
I wonder what's gonna happen next with MerDer !

    About the poll, I wanted to vote for Merder..DUH ! But they're gone !!! :( :( :(

  4. Chelsea Says:

TBD stands for To Be Determined. =]

    So excited for new episodes!!

  5. mmish Says:

The strike could end tomorrow then they take a vote. If the strike ends tomorrow writer's could be back at work by Wednesday. However a no vote means that are voting to continue the strike during the ratification process, which I heard takes about two weeks. Either way strike should end this month and some of the writers have commented that there is good chance that writer's will give a yes vote and end the strike.

  6. allaboutsloan Says:

I am excited that the writer's strike is near an end cause that mean that Heroe's, The Office and 30 Rock wil be back. But the sad thing is I was actually kind of liking my free time from the television. I liked not having to rush home and being able to go to bed early if I felt like it instead of waiting for my favorite show to start.

As for Grey's....well they sort of lost me. It's great that they'll be back on with new epsiodes[for the people who still watch and all] but it's not like I am excited or anything.

  7. allaboutsloan Says:

waite, I just read the list. Sucks that Heroes is TBD. Sucks about some of the new shows being cancel though.

  8. greysaddiction Says:

I am hopeful the the writers will vote favorably and we are well on our way to new Grey's epi's!!! allaboutsloan-- why then are you writing on this site? Go write on Heroes site. I'm done with the bad vibes. If there's something specific you haven't liked about Grey's lately that you might want to discuss, then fine, discuss. I get that- we all get frustrated sometimes when there are parts that aren't going the way we want, but if all you can say is "they sort of lost me" and you were happy about other shows and being able to go to bed early-- then STOP WRITING! Grey's will be back. Grey's will be great (b/c it is). Oh, and don't watch if you don't want to, but take up space on the Heroes site, instead, if you want.
I am looking forward to the new epi's. I am looking forward to watching MerDer grow. I think how epi 11 ended was just part of the their growing pains. Nothing to big for them to overcome. I'm glad Mer stood her ground. Last time she stood her ground like that with Der was in the "slut-calling" fight. And she really made him think and made him realize that he wanted HER. Will happen again that way.
And I'm still rooting for George & Izzie. They are great together. I want to see Alex & Lexie grow together too.
Grey's is still alive and still FANTASTIC!!!

  9. Bree Says:

Without George and Izzie, I have no interest in watching but I am happy for the people who still love the show

  10. allaboutsloan Says:

greysaddiction-they did lose me. I still watch and I can leave comments on here and any other fan websites of television shows that I like. Just because I am not bowing down and agreeing with you or anyone else about how wonderful the show and how it will get back on track doesn't mean anything. I am not the only one who has been "lost" by grey's anatomy. I had read an article in Entertainment Weekly about the show and they said the same thing and just like me, some of the staff has lots of hope for the show but jsut thinks that they are going through a rough patch which happens to every good show. I still have hope for the show but all the other shows that I had mention had really good cliffhangers which is why I am excited to see them comeback. If Grey's had a really good Cliffhanger than I would be really excited for the show to comeback instead I am only half excited and really curious about the out come of Mark and Hahn and Mer and Derke.

Nice to know that the person who left a comment after you didn't tear into me for my comments. And I never said anything negative about the show I just said that it lost me. Lost me doesn't mean it lost me as a viewer it meant just that..it lost me with some of the storylines. I thought they had something going with Izzie and George andr Mer and Der finally making it work.[The whole house plan thing sounded awesome]

I will continue to leave comments on here because I'll always have an opinion on what the Grey's Anatomy Insider's staff is posting about the actors and the characters that they play on the show. Or about the show period cause I still like the show.

  11. allaboutsloan Says:

I just re-read the comment that I had left before and it does sound negative but really I am just fustrated. Am I not allowed to be fustrated??? And other reason for me leaving commments on here because I have invested more time into this show then in the other one that I had mention. Heroes gets really complicated after awhile the same goes for lost too.

  12. Nona Says:

Why are George and Izzie not on the favorite couples poll, they are my favorite couple! I watch for Gizzie and MerDer, especially Gizzie, and the way Shonda ruined them, I am not too fond of the show. It is clear she bowed down to the haters, has no integrity whatsoever and totally ignored all the George and Izzie fans, which is something I will NEVER forgive ehr for.

  13. Bobo Says:

Great news! Can't wait to see the new episodes

  14. iheartgaforever Says:

It's OVER!! NO MORE SPECULATIONS, it's REALLY OVER!!! WGA voted yes today to end the three-month old strike with a 92.5% margin! Next step which shouldn't be that troubling is to vote on the ratification of the new contract. A letter to WGA members on http://laist.com/2008/02/12/the_strike_is_o.php claims the strike is really over and gives full permission to writers to resume working immediately! Thus they will be back to work tomorrow-Wednesday!
I don't think I've been this happy in a long time. I can't wait for the rest of the season this spring. At least we fanatics can rest at ease, that they're at least back to work :)

  15. iheartGAforever Says:

Meh- you NEED a reality check. IT IS OVER. How stupid do you feel now after talking nonsense three days ago?? They will be back with new episodes in late April or early May. You need to take your negativity elsewhere. If you don't like it here or what people say, GET OUT. It's that simple.

  16. Marianne Says:

Yes, the strike is officially over now. It's good news. Maybe it's just me, but I really wanted to make sure it was really over after what I heard before I go on celebrating. And think about it this way, had the majority voted no, wouldn't all the early optimism really annoyed or pissed you off? Just something to think about. And this is not directed at anyone in particular.

  17. greysaddiction Says:

iheartGAforever-- thanks for the official word!! It is finally over and we can look forward to our future indulgences!!

allaboutsloan-- glad to hear that you are still watching. You have to admit, after cold-reading your previous comment, it sounded hugely negative-- like you were totally done with the show and just switching to Hereos-- which is why I was saying stop posting. I totally understand you getting frustrated-- that makes sense to me. Glad to hear you haven't given up totally. MerDer will be fine. Sloan is a riot to watch. I'm hoping for a good storyline for Christina and, of course, I am hoping for George & Izzie.

Nona-- have no fear-- I don't think it's so bad for George & Izzie-- I think that George was 100% on the money when he told Izzie it was just their timing that stunk. I think they will end up together. They have always loved each other so much. It is fun to see the best friends have such possibility and I think Shonda will go there again in time.
I am so looking forward to those new epi's!!

  18. meh Says:

I am fully in touch with reality iheartgaforever,

The point is that people believe everything they hear and make assumptions too quickly. The strike is over TODAY. It wasn't over yesterday or the day before. And no, I don't feel stupid, thanks. Since I've actually registered with this forum there's no reason to "GET OUT" really. Maybe you should relax.

  19. Michelle Says:

Greysadiction, i hope you are right about George and Izzie, they are why I watch the show and have no interest in watching without them.

  20. gabriella Says:

I hope you are right too, Gizzie, O'Stevens, whatever you call them, totally rock my world
