i really loved merder but com'on! there's no dilemma here! team mer all the way! if u look at the facts, mer had to deal with her dad leaving her, and her mom's not only lack of love, but illness too, which made her tell mer again and again how she lost the love of her life (chief) because of a daughter she never wanted! but mer did the best she could for her and kept trying till the end to approach her. she also met der and did her best to trust him, and actually managed that. and at that point, she finds out he's married! i mean, it's like life proved to mer she was right not to trust people. but she also rised above that and in a breakout she put herself out there and begged 4 his love. u could see her agony not to be left once more. and what did der do?? left her! does anybody else remember how wrecked she was in season 2? having to deal with people gossiping about her, and seeing addison and derek together?
and just when she was starting to pull it together, der calls her a whore (for actually being broken and trying to fix her life desparetelly because of him!) and then decides to claim her!
a few weeks later he "walks away" and even when mer tells him she broke up with fin, he decides to "take some space"
mer's mom died and their last talk was pretty much:
-u r so ordinary, how on earth did u end up like this?
-well u happened to me!
then her stepmom dies and her dad actually slaps her!!! and let's not forget der seeing her as an obstacle when trying to be chief!
and pleaseeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mer has only brought up once the fact that he left her, saying that she had to keep christina's secret about burke's hand, because she was there when he wasn't! big deal!
and after all this der can't find it in his heart to give her some time-especially seeing how hard she trys? he wants to have it his way right here and right now, or else..?
sorry, but last time i checked, true love meant puting the other's needs above yours, giving chances, showing support, standing by, being patient, and certainly not looking for excuses to flirt away!!

yes alex was abused he said that in season 2 when he has that patient and the boy was abused by his father and alex tells him that he was abused as a little boy and he was always in the bar with his dad and he would always have to clean up after his dad.

George/Lexi roomates-good, but if he sleeps with this one he is a lost cause
Cristina-not a robot, just very driven, there are always glimpses of her human side
Team Meredith-I can't help but think she was right to bring up the past. Yes, she is screwed up, but people, seriously, he is no saint either. I think we all just forget that because of Dempsey. Let's look at their past from a different angle shall we:
he didn't tell her he was married, then he fights to kepp her only to turn around and say he has to stay w/ Addison, she moves on, he makes his move to get her back. She has to decide between him and Finn, he tells her to pick Finn. They get back together and he tells her "she's always leaving him" and he can't do that. She tells him she's comitted to them, she's evolving-he kisses Rose. She has a right to have her doubts.
Hey and while I'm thinking about Rose-didn't she just say a few episodes back that she and her fiance broke up because she knew what she wanted and he didn't? I think it would be EXTREMELY out of character for that type of person to agree to go out w/someone the same day that he had told her he was w/someone else. Seems a little weak to me.

Team Merder always...they both have their flaws but whent hey are together they are awesome!! anyways i want them to be together and if shondra think this is good for her ratings shes wrong, them being happy will be good! i think the house plans were a bit to big but he understood when she talked to him and asked if they could take 100 baby steps to getting there, so he does care...but i think hes a jerk for having him go right to rose and yes rose is weak or something because who would really go out with someone who just broke up that day...can you say rebound! anyways is it really true that we have to wait until fall for this show to come back...its awful!

George and Izzie are meant to be together.; They remind me of me and my boyfriend, we were best friends for years before we realized we had fallen in love. In fact, my boyfriend reminds me a lot of George, the same cute, sweet personality and the same beautiful blue eyes, probably why I love George so much, plus the fact TR is absolutely amazing. I adore George and Izzie and think they have great romantic chemistry and friends chemistry.
I like Rose, so no offense to her, but she and Derek have ZERO ZERO chemistry, it is terrible to watch, he and Meredith ooze chemistry, there is absolutely no competition here.
And while I love and adore Alex, I always HATED he and Izzie together, they DO NOT work.

I like that I might have been right in predicting that Mc Steamy and Rose might be the ones that eventually get together after DER goes back to MER and hopefully it stays that way. I am actually getting excited to see the "predicted" all out fight between them that will probably end with a pretty hot make-up scene! After all the other stuff we have had to watch- it will be a pretty good pay off!
The first scene with MERDER was totally confusing for me! (the egg part was great!)
MER tells DER that she does not want him to date anyone else (which I was so thrilled that she had finally grown enough to realize this) and instead of looking thrilled DER looks SAD like he is going to tell her that he is interested in Rose but MER won't let him. (and……. what he needs more time to figure it all out- but never gives MER the same time that he is always asking for?- I wanted to just to throw something at the TV)
MER goes home to dance and drink with her friends.
MER wakes up and decides to be nice to Lexie.
What happens to DER?
He goes home, wakes up and decides he wants to try again with MER, blow off the "nice" kiss with Rose and suddenly thinks that MER is ready to marry and build a house. DER meets MC Steamy really early (like Mc Steamy gets up early) to show him the spot where he is going to build his house (and best friend doesn't say aren't you jumping the gun buddy?) then heads to MER'S for breakfast to show her the house plans he has been working on secretly for months. (Even though things haven't been good and he has been dating others) I thought at first that maybe more time had passed but then I realized it is the night after they just partied together. It was like I had missed a scene from the last show and the start of this one. I personally find it so bizarre how people are mad at MER for not being happy about the house. I even loved Meredith's little speech about needing the steps needed to get to the MC Dreamy house. (It is also going to be difficult for Meredith to sell her "Mom's house"-She made a comment that I have a house-like maybe she thinks they will live together in her house)(Another future problem for them)

I was remembering some comments from Eric Dane, (Sloan) I think with TV Guide not too long ago....there may be trouble again with Sloan and Derek. And we know now what that most likely will be because of.......... MEREDITH!
So I thought that once Sloan finds out about Mer/Der breaking up that he will start trying to make his moves on Meredith. You know that will NOT sit well with Derek. I don't think she would sleep with him but just the fact that she had a drink with him would drive Derek crazy! And I would not be surprised if Sloan has already slept with Rose.

Shonda please, I will tolerate MerDer breaking up, Derek and Rose of the no chemistry hooking up, my Cristina being trashed and getting no story as long as you give George and Izzie a real chance of romance. I have been waiting 4 SEASONS for George and Izzie to get together and they were as amazing as I always dreamed they would be until episode 7 and its stupidity of no chemistry. No chemistry when those two have more chemistry than anyone, not sure whether that should make me laugh or cry.

i HATE rose ! can they just pls take her out ? she's really boring and a stalker ! and i really hate what shonda's doing to the characters ! she's destroying them ! meredith is so out of touch with reality. she has just too many issues. and it seems like she's not getting any better. mcdreamy has been replaced with mcasss. who says to a girl that he wants to spend his lifetime with her and yet he kisses a plant ! dr. bailey is one of my favorite character. i felt so sad when they ended her marriage. it's like the creators are trying to say that a woman can't have a successful career and a happy family at the same time ! i miss the old alex, izzie, george and christina ! their sarcasm and playful banter were the funniest ! and i miss mcsteamy's old manwhore ways ! i want the old grey's back !

Does anyone remember in I think Season 3, when Derek's sister Nancy visited. Remember her talking with him at Joe's and telling him he can't be alone and that he just needs time to be alone. Well, I think him right away running to Rose to ask her out is in tune with his character and his insecurity of being alone. Anyway, it's just an observation.
