I read an article regarding MerDer and Der-Rose. http://greysaddict522.livejournal.com/6227.html It said that when Derek wouldn't notice Addison, she slept with Mark to get herself noticed. I hope, seriously hope, that Meredith sees that Derek only kissed Rose to get himself noticed. I think that Mer isn't ready for a marrige quite yet. Her father left her when she was 5. Addison stold her "Mclife". From her point of view, marriges don't work. She wants Derek so bad, that she doesn't want it to all fall apart. The house was too much for her at this time.
I loved the beginning!! All of the Mark / Derek scenes are either super funny, (like last nights) or tear jerking (like the one from Drowning on Dry Land). Mer cooking eggs for someone who is allergic to eggs is hilarious! And the Mark - Hahn thing at the end was fantastic. Her telling him that he was too pretty...LOVING IT!

Oh, and write to any products you use (Garnier Nutrisse for instance which runs several ads during Grey's) and tell them you support the writers in the strike. That's the only way we'll get our Grey's back!

Team Meredith-She has had such a hard life and in this season she is finally turning around and making good things out of life. Like the kid with the ears, the ashes, the sky diver, etc. Meredith is just not at the stage to build a house yet. Plus, she can't trust him if he is gonna continue to kiss people behind her back! I really want Mer/Der together!!!

Meredith and Derek are a great couple, but Meredith needs to learn to trust Derek because Derek loves her and Derek needs to learn not to be such an asshole he just needs to give her some time. As for Rose Derek will date her for a while and realise he can't live with out Meredith and he will come crawling back to her agian and she will say yes.

meredith is just boring now. She is becoming a pathetic person asking for pity. Derek has given her more than enough time to get over her 'issues'. It's just not happening.
There is definitely something there for Alex and Izzie. I loved how the healer told him "She brightens you".
Dr. Hahn was the best this ep. She brings something new and interesting to the show. The show needs her now. The potential relationship between Hahn and Sloan is exactly what the show needs because viewers are beggining to get tired of messing around with the failed romances. She got it right, Sloan is way "too pretty"
Does anyone else think Bailey is losing it. She is thinking of herself constantly and her husband shouldn't have to do everything himself as it appears he is. One question though, is Tucker planning to take the baby to the hotel with him, because I can't imagine Tucker leaving his son with Baily who never had time for them. Bailey stepped too far across the line this episode. Hahn was completely right to tell her to leave the OR and therefore Bailey's confrontation with her was totally uncalled for.

Derek has been so slimy this season! He keeps saying he wants to be with Meredith, then running away and leaving her. No wonder she can't trust him! Plus, how in love with her can he be if he runs to Rose 2 minutes after he and Meredith split to secure a date for THAT SAME NIGHT! I think he's slimier than any other character on the show, which is sad, because I used to love his character. Now I just hope that Meredith and Mark get together and stay together. Derek deserves to see both women he's loved in his life leave him for Mark!

for once it looked like Derek would be able to be something besides mcsleazy by having one credible platonic relationship with a coworker of the opposite sex... but no, as usual, Rose, he either doesn't know who they are, or wants sex with them. there is no middle ground for this purportedly sensitive, introspective emotional type. ladies, this is the guy that loves that you talk about your "feelings" at the bar, then doesn't even leave a note in the morning.

OMG!!! the mer/der relationship is SOOOO... NOT OVER!!! i mean did no one else see the look that derek gave her at the end of the show, i mean talk about a broken heart look!!! he was so depressed!! anyway, i think this is going to turn into another thing where meredith meets someone else, starts dating them. derek gets jealous. and they end up sleeping together. OR, meredith is going to get jealous and realize that she has to find a way to grow up, she will, and then we will have a fun time watching her try to get him back, which she of course eventually will. Oh, and as for George and Lexie, I don't see anything really happening there, but you never know, with our writers we never see a lot of things coming! (they would make kind of a cute couple... hmmm..?) as for the comment made by S, I think that a hook up btwn meredith and mark could be just the right thing to bring derek crawling back to meredith, although I don't see it happening b/c mark wouldn't want to jeopardize their friendship, esp. since he just got it back!!

does anyone realize that mer/der have really only been together, like, only one season (1st half of season 1 and 1st half of season 2). My God, he wants her to be ready to get married, build a house and have kids! I'm all for merder but seriously, he needs to realize that they need to take it slower. Especially so b/c mer is so broken. I mean, her dad left her mom and her when she was 5, her mom basically didn't love her, her dad accused her of his wife's death and her mcdreamy was actually married. Not to mention all the marriages/relationships that have fallen apart at Seattle Grace in the last few seasons. Like mer said, how CAN she trust him when every "good" thing shes ever known has fallen apart. Good for her for not jumping the gun and getting married like George and Callie. Or realizing at the altar that shes not ready like Burke and Christina. Shes smart and she loves Derek. Derek needs to realize that and just love her for who she is, like when she was dying/dead on the table last season and he poured his love out to her, praying she wouldn't die. And also, when mer said that if she wasn't ready to settle down/love derek forever, do you actually think rose is that person? Seriously, she just showed up like 2 episodes ago and already derek's thinking "settle down". Not cool of him. I think of rose as the Emily from Friends. She's hot and new and "cool" but in the end she'll show her true colors: gold digging, obsessive, possesive freak and mer/der will finally know that they only have each other to make them happy. Merder all the way.
btw- i really liked the breakfast part. Made me giggle b/c they were all so happy together. You'd never know that by the end of the episode, the whole reason for greys anatomy would be broken up. And those eyes derek gave mer at the end showed that even though he said he was done with that relationship, you know he wasn't.
