1. Is Cristina a robot?
McCritic: No more so than Bill Belichick. And that's worked out pretty well for the New England Patriots Head Coach.
iheartizzie: She tries to act like one to get ahead, and hone her skills, but Yang's comforting of Bailey and little Tuck wasn't the first sign of Cristina's human side. Nor will it be the last. There's a big heart inside this cardio-god-in-training.
missingBurke: No. But with Burke out of the picture, Cristina has been forced to focus on work more than ever. During that relationship, it was apparent she was capable of, you know, feelings.
2. Is there a romantic future for Izzie and Alex?
iheartizzie: I hope so. I always loved these two together. Despite Denny and Ava being terrific love interests for each, I think there's something here.
McCritic: Probably. The show currently has nary a romantic entanglement among the main characters. How long can that continue for? Unless Dr. Hahn comes to her senses and locks McSteamy in an on-call room, Izzie and Alex are the next likely pairing.
missingBurke: Of course not. Izzie is madly in love with Denny, right? Or is that George? Either way, Alex was never much more than a sexmate for her.
3. Will Bailey's marriage survive?
missingBurke: Unfortunately not, I'm afraid. But luckily, little Tuck appears to be okay, and hopefully, his single parents will be happier on their own while still giving their child - who they both love - the attention he deserves.
McCritic: Only if Miranda dials down her duties at Seattle Grace. And can anyone see that happening?
iheartizzie: Sadly, I think Tucker Sr. has made up his mind on this one. While she may think she can have it all, Dr. Bailey won't sacrifice her career to meet him halfway. The look on her face at the end said more than words could.
4. Will George and Lexie make good roommates?
McCritic: No. If George is looking to take care of himself, he shouldn't have a roommate; especially one that's attractive, single and open to sleeping with co-workers.
iheartizzie: These two have a nice connection, and George landed in the Friend Zone from the start this time, so it should work out well. Probably.
missingBurke: George has befriended, then slept with, and made things really awkward with, three other attractive ladies at SGH... why stop the streak now?
5. Pick a side: Team Derek or Team Meredith?
McCritic: Derek told Meredith he wanted to marry her. Derek told Meredith he'd wait, but would also keep options open in case someone more committed came along. Derek broke things off with Rose (Lauren Stamile) the instant Meredith wanted to be exclusive. So can anyone tell me what he did wrong?
iheartizzie: Team Meredith all the way. There's no chemistry between Derek and Rose, plain and simple. You know Mer loves you, Derek. The house thing was too much. She needs more time to get over her issues gradually!
missingBurke: Team Meredith. Derek is breaking up MerDer for what? Dose? Rerek? No option works.

I agree. I am sad to say that Miranda's marriage is over, I hope that George and Lexie get an apartment together, only as friends. I have to say that Mer cooking was hilarious last night.
oh, and on the regard of Team Meredith vs. Team Derek, I am Team Meredith all the way. She wants to be with Derek so bad, and the house was overwhelming, on top of the fact that Derek kissed rose! Seriously, why didn't he fess up when Mer told him that she wanted to only be with him? Also, Derose and Rerek sound icky. MerDer all the way!

Derek loves Meredith! For sure. And Mer loves him too. They belong together. So why did he kiss Rose?? That's what he dif wrong, even if then it wasn't said that he shouldn't meet other people.

I am so over Meredith! She doesn't deserve Derek. I say give someone else a chance. At least maybe then she will grow up and who knows, maybe she will get her McDreamy afterall.

While I am disappointed about the Mer/Der thing, perhaps Mer should date somebody else, since she dated Finn and then her and Derek were happy for the first half of the season. Then, once she realizes that derek is the right one for her, then they can have each other. I am hoping this happens. Who knows?

I think that george and lexie will work out perfect. They both need someone to help them. Like Lexie with her drunken father, and meredith problems, and george with his Izzie and callie problems. I think they will be friends, and i hope thats all, other wise George is going to be the next karev.
I dont think Dr. Baileys marriage is over. I think that as soon as she got into a higher rank in the hospital her marriage was going to fall apart. For example...Dr. Webber and his wife.
As far as Mer/Der. I am on the Meredith team. If Derek wanted to build a house so bad with her and he already had the plans, then why even think about kissing rose. If he was so in love with meredith and wanted to marry her, then how come he can get over her so fast? Is rose the rebound girl until Meredith gets her head on strait? I SURE HOPE SO!

Everyone basicly agree's Derek and Meredith belong together. Derek was fine talking to her as a friend but when he kissed her and then asked her out to dinner he looked so depressed. Derek has to be more patient and Meredith has got to be willing to work on her problems more seriously. I still don't see any chemistry between Derek and Rose. She just comes across as some kind of over eager freak.

The whole Derek and Meredith thing I don't believe is over. At the end he looked at her with those eyes the same way he has looked at her since the beginning. I believe that if he does date Rose then Mer will be jealous and maybe decide that she really loves him and wants to be with him or she could start dating someone else and then Der will be the jealous one. But that look at the end shows that they can't work together as friends because even when he was trying to work out his marriage you could still see the chemistry when Mer and Der were just friends. So to me they will end up together sometime because they can't work together as friends and Derek said Mer was the love of his life. Also Derek may just need a break to see what he really wants in life and maybe Mer needs to see that she really needs him.

I think George and Lexie as roomates would be fun! Meredith's house is too crowded. How I love Meredith and Derek together happy. But they are both in different places. Dereks' career is established. What, is he supposed to be about 10 years older than her? Meredith is just starting out. She has years of training ahead. He wants to settle down. But with anyone that comes along? I get that impression. Rose will be available for him, she'll build a house with him, she'll have his children. But will he love her passionately? Did anyone see that look Derek gave Meredith at the end? She is under his skin. It is not over.
This episode left me wanting to see what happens next. I hope I still feel that way in September....

Even though we knew it was going to happen with Mer/Der last night it was still heart breaking to me! I want them together. But, I guess we will now have to hope that Meredith gets the HELP she needs so she will be ready for Derek. Derek and Meredith do love each other. He is ready for the next step and she isn't quite there yet and he knows that. He is tired of the back and forth with Meredith and wants what he wants NOW (because he thinks she'll never get ready) and is forgetting that he said he loved her enough that he would wait. He is afraid that she will never be ready so he thinks he needs to move on to somebody that will give him what he wants. We all know Rose is just a rebound from Meredith. He is hurting and is now mad at Meredith because she has shot down his plan for the dream house so what better way to get back at her than to ask Rose out. I felt sorry for Derek in a way because he has tried so hard to convince Meredith that he loves her and wants to marry her , etc. and she knows that. But, I felt for Meredith too because she does love him and she does have issues (that he knows about) and is trying so hard to get to the place that Derek wants her to be! But, I guess they are at a point in the relationship where he feels she will never be ready and she feels she can't trust him. There was one thing that Derek said that I'm hoping Meredith will realize is true...that she can't trust anybody and I do think that is true at this point. Thats why I think she needs to get help so she can get beyond these issues that have gone on way tooooo long. I'm hoping that Derek will realize that he has issues as well that have added to the already isssues that Meredith has. He is not completely innocent here either. So I guess with them apart for a while (which will be hard to watch) they need to get their acts together and find their way back to each other, which we know they will, they have to, RIGHT? I just hope it will not take that long for us to see what we have waited 4 seasons to see with Meredith and Derek....Happiness together!
As far as Team Mer or Team Der....as much as I can see both points of view with the relationship...I have to go with Team Mer because I didn't like that he asked Rose out after the breakup with Meredith. What happened to our McDreamy??
Lets get this strike over so we can get our show back!

TEAM DER: Mer was bring up old stuff from the past, yes he had a wife, but YOU decided to forget about that.. you dont get to throw it in his face when you feel like it. Im so over them together. MOVE ON please.....

I just don't see the passion, the chemistry, the tear-your-clothes-off-but-love-me-tender vibe that Derek and Meredith have, happening with Derek and Rose. Rose is just filler. She will NEVER be to Derek what Meredith is to him. She will bore Derek. She bores me. Meredith and Derek excite the audience. Even when they are just standing side by side in an elevator you can FEEL the chemistry. The writers of this show are dragging this whole thing out WAY too long. Bring back the vibe of seasons 1 & 2 PLEASE!!! I'm begging you. I will not watch Derek and Rose build a house with a white picket fence. It would bore me to tears. The show will just plummet right off that cliff that Derek is building hi s dream house on. If MerDer weren't going to end up together then Derek should have stayed with Addison and Meredith with McVet. That would have at least been plausible. Rose is too bubble gum...BORING!!! TEAM MERDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

George and Lexie as friends and roommates would be great, but he and Izzie belong together. I agree with missingburke, Alex may have feelings for Izzie but he was never more than a sexmate for her, she never loved him like she did Denny and George.

I will stand anything but please no Alex and Izzie, they were gross to watch together and they only have friendship chemistry. Izzie is in love with George and george is in love with her. Once they get over the guilt of hurting Callie, I can see them working their way back to each other down the road. They need to be together!

Team Meredith for sure. I love she and Derek but he needs to earn her trust.
Also totally team George and Izzie and against Alex and Izzie and do not want george and Lexie as more than friends, though I do really love their friendship and glad the show is making them roommies.

I loved this episode.
I am totaly for MerDer.......I believe their relationship is not over yet. I am not sure about this Rose thing.....I agree she is boring.
George and Lexi roommates, I like the ideal but how will izzie and callie feel about that one?
Dr Bailey, I felt for her. I cried when her baby was in that bed, but relived when they said he was going to be okay.
I think that Izzie and George should keep their mouths shut, they always get themselves deeper into things.
Back to Mer and Der I love these characters. I think that when they both go and "FIND" themselves they will both know that they can't live without eachother. (I hope)

It's amazing looking over so many sites that Derek and Meredith belong together. Rose must think she can make Derek forget Meredith little does she know it won't happen. They love each other to much and no matter how frustrated they get with each other they always find their way back. I like the idea of George and Lexie sharing an apartment. I like the way they bonded as friends right off the bat. The problem is Izzie really doesn't like to share George with anyone. Those are the two things I want the most MerDer in a happy loving relationship and that special bond Gizzie had as bestfriends. I hope the writers take this extra long break to clear their heads and think about season 5. I don't think we can get back what they had in season 1&2 but they can make season 5 better without empty promises.

I think that with George learing to take care of himself, it will make it easier for him and Izzie to get back together. Like he said, he doens't know who he is anymore. He wants to get back to being "George."
Loved how Izzie said that she fell in love with him. Let's keep hope alive my fellow Gizzie fans.

Hey Mia, I am keeping hope, I loved it when Izzie said she had not even realized she was in love with him, that she was in love with him before the drunken hook-up. That made me squee. Gizzie forever! I am NEVER giving up on them!

Always and forever, team Meredith!
What he did wrong? Seriously? Seriously? Where do I start? Let´s see... He was married, and lied about it. She chose Addison, then he wanted Meredith back when she was dating Finn and trying to move along. He called her a whore because HE was angry and totally jelous. He stalked her until they had sex in the exam room. He makes her choose, and before she does, he abandons her for the second time. When she chose him anyway, he stayed away for a while. When she´s down because of her family issues (her mother told her she shouldn´t have had her, her mother dies, her fake mommy dies, her father slaps her and blames her for Susan´s death, etc) and he abandons her after her near death experience because "he cannot breathe for her", then he says he wants to marry her BUT pressures her once again telling her that he is not necesarilly going to wait for her, then he dates this Rose and kisses her and is not being totally honest with Meredith...
Did I forget something? Probably. That happens to me all the time.
So, to me, the choice is easy. I choose Meredith. Derek may be McDreamy, but he is an asshole. A total jerk. He is the one who pushed her away in the first place, and now he complains about her lack of commitment?
Please! No wonder Meredith has abandonment issues and is not very trusting...
But I still want them together forever...
And Izzie and Alex work fine, but George and Lexie? No way... As for McSteamy, I hope Callie gets lucky. And finally, Miranda deserves to be with a man who undestands her, and who can deal with a very commited woman, to her family and to her career as well.
We can´t forget that she tries to make things work. Her situatios is nothing like Richard´s, who had an affair, stayed with his wife instead of having a real relationship with the love of his life and avoided going home like the plague.

Team Meredith. I totally seen her point as to why she can't trust him. It's not digging up old stuff, she's making a point. Derek has a tendancy of covering up things that would turn Meredith off (the wife, the other woman) and he thinks she has trust issues. Has anyone else noticed that she only really has trust issues with him? She trusts Christina, Izzie, George, Alex, hell, even MARK more then Derek. And I can't say I blame them.
Honestly, I would have loved to see Lexie move in with Meredith somehow, only so they could get to know each other better, as they are clearly trying. But as long as there isn't any romance between George and Lexie, it should be ok.
And can I say how much I love Dr. Hahn? She's so cool, and I love how she told Mark he was too pretty. They'll hook up I'm sure, but for now, the flirting is cute.
I love how this season is all friendships. It's the kind of "makes you wanna call your best friend" feeling that I missed from the first 2 seasons of Grey's

i agree completely, 100%, with kathy. Meredith and Derek need to get over their problems and get back to being the couple they were in season 1.
And Derek needs to get rid of Rose.... a few hours before he asked her out he told her they were just friends and the kiss meant nothing. what's up with that?? Derek really wants to build that dream house for him and Meredith ...so he should make some kind of an apology so they can get back to their relationship..
