Grey's Anatomy Spoiler Chat: Tomorrow Night
Kristin Veitch of E! Online, who just brought us an interview with Lauren Stamile, now has some more scoop on her character as well as Thursday's new episode in her spoiler chat.
The episode, "Lay Your Hands On Me," which has become the de facto Grey's Anatomy Season Four finale due to the writers' strike, has been more than a month in the making.

Q: Thanks for the great interview with Lauren Stamile. She's adorable. Can we start a petition now for her to stay on the show?
A: You bet. FYI, I'm told the original plan for Lauren was for about seven episodes, possibly more if the Der-Rose chemistry was "humming." When you see this week's ep, I think you'll know which way producers are heading. (Hint: They dig her.) So, Lourdes, mon petit fromage, I think you'll get your wish, and we'll get much more of Rose when the show returns (whenever that may be).
Q: You said something bad happens to Bailey in the next Grey's Anatomy. She's not getting sick or dying, is she?
A: Hell, no. She's alive and kickin'. In fact, she'll exhibit some of that superhuman strength that often happens when, say, a mother needs to lift a car off her baby. And yes, that's an intentional comparison. It will be heart wrenchingâ"and the last ep we'll get 'til the bad thing ends... so, enjoy. And bring a hanky.

Argh. More rose? This is really frustrating. I REALLY want Mer/Der to continue, since I have been a fan from the beginning. Seriously, I already have the trashcan ready if Derek goes with rose (you catch the hint. XD)
I can't wait. I love those tearjerker episodes, since I can cry and not have to worry about anyone seeing except my parents. I already have tissues ready, since I cry at the silliest things as it is. XD

"Boo, you whore!" I'm tired of this, just put Meredith and Derek together. Believe it or not, it is possible for our favorite couple to be together and still have the show interesting!
...and what's with the writers' hate towards marriage? Every single marriage, in the show, is a failure. It really depresses me.

I say the hell with Grey's and bring on Private Practice. I can't believe they won't have Mer/Der together, do they not know that's why we all watch the show??
It's bad enough we won't have any more new episodes for who knows how long and then not to give us what we want to see happen, THAT SUCKS!!
I say the viewers go on strike if the writers ever come back and boycott the show...LOL.

Ladies I agree.... Boo hiss to Grey's. Whats with the Derek/Rose chemistry "humming." I think not. I saw no chemistry at all. Too much "Rose" may be a "jump the shark" moment, do you not think? Im for a viewer strike of Grey's if they keep that up.

ENOUGH OF ROSE ALREADY! I, too, am a diehard Mer/Der fan. I can't imagine Dr. Shepard with anyone else. Rose doesn't even look right with him. I have always loved the Mer/Der romance, even when it didn't look like they were going to make it as a couple. I'll be very disappointed if the writers end their relationship. Grey's Anatomy use to be such a thrilling and exciting show to watch. I'm having a very hard time accepting some of the big changes. I still don't want Izzie with George and I don't like Alex with Ava, or Rebecca, whatever her name is! I really believe that some of the changes on the show are going to cause it to lose a lot of fans. I won't stop watching the show, but it won't continue to be my favorite one.

Is that the direction patrick said he was happy about? well what can one say at this stage? we obviously cant do nothing. Like i said before, i am already a Grey fan and i love meredith and christina, therefore i will be here for them till the end. Oh one more thing......for what is worth that picture of Lauren/Rose looks pretty scary.

Ok seriously did anyone see the promo. Is Meredith supposed to be the new Addi that Derek is fed up with and wants to move on. He's at mer's house and seems all distant and rolling his eyes. Then he speaks to Rose about the kiss and he looks at her lips like he used to do with meredith's. It's dead people.

i think that if they destroy the mer/der and make it the rose/der, [let's face it, not working] the show will indeed lose a ton of fans. Like metioned, grey's is my number one show and i drop everything at 8 every thrusday, even just to watch the reruns. A lot of people say the same; if mer/der goes...so do the number one ratings.People and the writers need to get rid of her. She's not gonna last...everyone knows that meredith and derek belong together. I would rather watch an entire espisode of sydney talking then watch a rose/der relationship.

I am glad der/mer have hopefully ended it for now, the show needs to take a new direction for awhile. Need some new action, but please ended Izzy and George!!

I agree! Enough of Rose--she and Derek have NO chemistry. Did you see that awkward kiss? The writers need to get their heads on straight and throw Rose out like the trash she really is. Viva MerDer!

hy everyone
all i wanted to say is that i really don't like the whole rose/der think i mean there is no chemestry or anything...i mean c'mon...
if the spoilers are true,..then Derek will tell Mer that he wants to have a dream hous with her and then mer say she is not readdy for this big step now....and the derek will go to rose and ask her out for dinner.....i mean whats that....he can't ask rose out if he just ask mer for a dreamhouse and a happy life together...that so stupid....not real....
you can't just tell somebody how much you love him/her and you want children with her/him and a dreamhouse...and then just walk away and have a relationship with another stupid chick ..or what you all think?
and all i have to say now is..if derek is that kind of guy ..then he become more and more like mark was in the beginning....a "manwhore"..or what do you think???

oh my gosh!! thank you 'elise'!! it looks so good. its good that derek is at her house. he didnt look annoyed. he was jus treacting to meredith cooking. and i dont see any chemistry with him and rose. they are terrible together. i really hope they dint disappoint us with this episode.

I really don't think I am going to like what is going to happen tomorrow night with Mer/Der. These promos really make me mad especially with Derek. I hate that Shonda is doing this to his character. One minute with Meredith and the next telling Rose that he likes kissing her! There are so many other ways that she could have given this couple a break if thats what she wanted to do. BUt from what it looks like, everybody will not like Derek after this episode. Why can't she just leave Mer/Der together?????

Speaking of Patrick's comments on the entrance of Rose, he commented last month that he's glad his character is going in a different direction rather down that same road with Meredith! I personally don't see Rose as real competition for Meredith. She looks "goofy" to me and I don't like the way she talks. She's not sexy at all. Meredith is really cute and sort of naive and she needs a man like Derek. He seems to understand her and apparently he does really love her. All he has to do now is tell Meredith that the time has come to make a FINAL decision about their relationship. He doesn't have to jump at Rose because they had one stupid kiss. And yes, that kiss looked very stupid and awkward! YUK! At least he and Meredith have passion and they make such a cute couple! If they don't get married then Grey's has really lost its touch. Shonda really needs to re-evaluate where she is going with them. It looks like Izzie and George are over.............shouldn't ever have started. Alex is enjoying playing the field (as usual) and Mark is after Dr. Hahn (NOT!!) Cristina needs a new man who can deal with her like Dr. Burke. I really miss Dr. Burke now and I thought I wouldn't. I read where a major character wants out. ANYONE KNOW WHO THAT IS??

I can go on all day and agree with you guys i mean meredith and derek belong together they are the perfect couple shonda really needs to get her head out of the clouds and make the right decesions for the viewers and the cast. maybe they should have a poll and see if they would rather see meredith our rose with derek. i am a huge greys fan and tune in every week i would hate to be dissapointed with the outcome of the show.
