ok so WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?
they get rid of one of the most talemted acotrs and replace him with...that blond UNTALENTED ACTRESS!!!!
then they bring in Merediths "competition"....she looks like crap and she cant act EITHER!!!!
are we the only ones who get this??I mean I know there was a strike and all but IF YOU WANT US TO KEEP WATCHING, YOU BETTER DO A BETTER JOB AND HIRE BETTER ACTORS!!!!

I'm not for Mer/Der getting back together and I like the Rose character. I think that they can develop her character and make her like the way Addison was, and I think that Derek and Rose can be a healthy couple on the show to watch, but not all the actors are going to stay on the show forever, so I think that all the Mer/Der fanatics should think about that. That is the same as if Rose and Derek got together as well. I think as time moves on and as the show grows and more characters come into the show, time to move forward. I am enjoying seeing Derek with a healthy relationship, and I can't see it being with Meredith.

Who's the slutty whore? Rose may have known about Mer/Der, and kissed Derek, only kissed him so far. Plus it wasn't her that made the first move. Watch the show again, and see for yourselves who made the first move. All you diehard Mer/Der fans call Rose a slutty whore. Well Meredith new that Derek was married and that didn't stop her from doing the McNasty with him at the end of Season II. PLus all the one night stands she's had other than Derek. So who's the slutty skanky whore??? How soon you all forget, how it all was written, but because it's your precious Mer, it's ok. I can't even believe that we are all getting bothered by a ficitional story. But, If I have to watch the annoying relationship of Mer/Der for good, I might just find another show to watch.

I don't mind the actress, but am not too keen on the character. I hope Mer and Der work out and not in the last ten minutes of the show. I'd like to see them work it out, become an actual couple again, take steps- become more serious, and if they're getting married, not in the series finale. Maybe part way through the last season or second last. Not straight away or at the last possible minute. And I hope the writers don't give us any doubts that they belong together.
Hope Rose doesn't make Derek a completely unbearable character. He just hasn't been himself lately.
P.S. I've really come around on the whole Lexie story. I'd be happy to see her stay around. She could be good for Meredith. Meredith could do with some remotely sane family.

I think Lauren Stamile is a beautiful women. Her character, Rose, is a positive add to the story line. Mererdith should know she can't play around with Derek's feelings. I look forward to seeing more of her in Season 4. I am definitely a Lauren Stamile fan now. Go Rose!

Ugh. Why hasn't Rose been written off yet? She is one of the two most annoying characters on the show right now (ties with Ava on that one). She has zero chemistry with Derek. Remember their first kiss? It was so awkward that I wanted to throw up. And her tongue/petting line in the last episode? First off, ew. Second, she couldn't even deliver it with wit. Why did the writers cast this retard? Can't act, goofy-looking and not attractive...I don't get it!

C'mon! Meredith was getting - and still is - annoying.
Rose is far more grounded, mature and clear-minded which makes her a better fit with McDreamy.
Plus she's HOT. I agree with the previous poster that she's the hottest woman on the show since Addison. I don't understand how anyone thinks Meredith is good-looking. Izzie, Lexi, Callie...they're nice looking. But Christina and Meredith? Yuck.
Would LOVE to see Derek and Rose become a couple.

I agree with JJ, Meredith is annoying, has been annoying, and will probably continue to be annoying.
Rose is indeed more grounded, mature, clear-minded and HOT. Derek deserves someone with less baggage than Meredith has. If Meredith is indeed her mother's daughter, then she needs to get over her relationship preoccupation and move on with her career.

Why is rose still in the show????? she really sucks. I find it very disgusting to watch her with derek. What has happen to greys anatomy? was a good show but now it really sucks with rose in the picture. mer/der is and will always be a perfect couple.
