If Gizzie is done, I am done for good. They are why I watch this show.
That said, I don't think Shonda bowed to the haters. Look at how she crapped over all the couples on this show, and look at how she is crapping all over beloved MerDer even though she knows the MerDer fanatics will be after her in a heartbeat and hate her to death.
No, she is just being true to herself, not believing anyone can have it all and screwing all the couples and their fanbases.
I am done with her sick twisted mind.
Gizzie was the last bit of magic left for me.

How can anyone anyone have ever liked Alex and Izzie? They were sick together. He cheated on her and she treated him like some inflatable sex toy she could throw in the garbage when she didn't want him.
How is that better than her and George who loved each other, look at each other with so much love and lit up just being near each other?
Not sure if Shonda bowed to the haters, which is stupid as I think the Gizzie fans are the majority, but she made a stupid stupid mistake messing up the most wonderful couple on the show.
The Gizzie fans won't soon forgive her.

yeah!!! Gizzie was amazing as a couple...shonda is just being unreasonable and stupid to destroy such a wonderful relationship!! Gizzie was the only reason i watch Greys anymore!! its so frustrating to see them apart now...it didn't look tht way when they danced so lovingly at the end!!! I am a huge gizzie fan, and i am sure i won't forgive her. she did make a stupid mistake messing up the most perfect couple on Greys.
I'm so pissed at the moment!!! Gizzie still rocks my world!! I want them together again...and if "i love yous" weren't enough. and the dance n cuddling...i dunno what is??!! Someday should be NOW! and if they end up with diff partners after this....i swear i'm gonna lose it completely!!!

Grey's Anatomy ended half way through season three. I kept up hope for a while, waited for the "fun" to come back. Waited... and waited. Everything I grow to know and love about this show has been shot and mutilated, and I'm sick of it. I know I'm not going to be the only fan doing something else with my Thursday nights now. I'll keep up by reading the recaps, and maybe if it gets back on track I'll start watching again.
Life doesn't suck for everyone all the time every day of the year.

Shonda knows everyone loves this couple... I know it doesn't look good for the moment, but I'm sure they'll get back together! Let's hope so!

Gizzie still rocks....no matter what happens in the future! I wish those two all the best, and pls over come this phase soon, cause alot of gizzie fans want them as a couple asap!! "TIMING?!" come on, gimme a break! its not believable okie....the writers are being such joy killers! i miss my Gizzie...already.

I've noticed there is another Kathy that posting on this forum and she is a Gizzie fan. Just to say, thats not me..I'm a true Mer/Der fan! (ha)
greyslover - I have read some of the spoilers on the website link attached. there are alot of threads that link to GA from this link. I only read naturally about Mer/Der or their link on PD. I don't post there but it is interesting to read what other people think about Mer/Der and whats going on with them.

hafsa - Don't give up on Mer/Der just yet! Even though Der did kiss Rose and believe me, it took alitttle McDreaminess from our perfect Derek...I'm still believing in what Shonda is trying to do here. I really think she is trying to strengthen both Mer/Der as she brings them back together. I just hope she doesn't ruin our almost perfect image of Derek in the process. You know? Its one thing that she let him kiss Rose, but that better be it! We can't handle him taking it a step further! I am still optimistic here......I just can't see Derek letting Mer go ! And I'm not sure what all will take place in episode 11 that will reassure us from the spoilers that I have read. Unless, the scripts changed after they realized the strike may happen and Shonda knew she couldn't leave us hanging with the ending of Der asking Rose out on a date! Knowing we would all assume Mer/Der broke up again. Naturally, none of us know what she has in store for these two (Mer/Der), and I am one of those diehard Mer/Der fans that will hold out with hope until there is nothing left to hold on to!

I started to boycott the show when Rose appeared on screen. DEREK KISSED ROSE AND HE WAS HAPPY! A loyal MerDer fan can't accept it. I agree with TWOP posters and with some other posters. They are over and when Shonda will fix them, their fans won't believe in this couple again.

I watched that forum and some links... In some link, I was able to read a part of the script from epi 11, a Merder and Der/Rose part. Damnn if it's true... There'll be a lot frustration about Derek again 8-) :-S
But I'm sure Merder will get back together, we just have to wait a little longer!

I'm a Gizzie fan and was disappointed that they broke up but it also gave them an opportunity to "fall in love" on camera.
The last thing we want is for Izzie to be considered a rebound relationship. Let him grieve his dad and his marriage. Izzie deserved better than someone still clinging to the past. Let George work through his issues then woo the hell out of Izzie.
I hope that this couple is on a "break" and not a "break-up." I love them. I want "someday" to be soon.

george and izzie are not over, george was talking about marrage and they only agreeded that it was bad timing the next time then need an excape from thier misrable lives they will wake up in bed, they love eachother but noone gets thier happy ending in this show so izzie will have to be pregnat before they deside to be together for ever

Really they should be cool and take a step back from thier sex life and just take a trip together.The spoilers for episode 11 say that george's mother comes back. Maybe gearge will have to go somewhere and episode 12 will end playinas they drive off to where ever. They are the cutest together and I am tired of Merder's on off relationship let someone be happy.

The Dancing Party was my favorite part of the episode, followed by Mer telling dr. Hahn to shut it.
I actually played DDR too after seeing that episode
