1. So Rose can apparently fix computers. What other surprise talents will this versatile nurse unveil next?
McCritic: She can go an entire hour without making everything about herself. It's a talent Derek's other love interest is yet to master.
iheartizzie: No idea. But Mer-Der lovers who inherently dislike Rose may be amused to learn that the mascot of UC-Santa Cruz is - seriously - the banana slug.
AndYouveGotTheHair: The way this is headed, there will be another code black and Rose will save the day by dismantling an explosive or disarming a crazed gunman.
2. Tougher loss to stomach: Nick's blood, or Bailey's marriage?
iheartizzie: The former. Seriously, that was the goriest episode of all-time. Seth Green pretty much bled to death over the course of an hour. Perhaps a little overkill - for a second I thought Lexie Grey changed into red scrubs.
McCritic: Miranda Bailey deserves better than someone who can't understand her obligations as a surgeon. She'll be better off in the end. But Nick, sadly, will never be better off again after losing so much blood.
AndYouveGotTheHair: They were both hard to watch for different reasons. I couldn't help but notice the great guest star performances from both Nick and Tucker (Cress Williams), as well as Ava (Elizabeth Reaser) and of course Rose. Despite how gross it was at times, this was a powerful episode.
3. Best quote directed at Dr. Hahn: Meredith telling her to zip it, or Mark not promising anything when it comes to hitting on her?
AndYouveGotTheHair: Meredith! Hahn had that coming and it was great to see our girl stand up to her ... as well as for herself at the end. Hope it's enough!
McCritic: Mark. I also loved his response to Hahn's request to get A drink. He seemed to be focused on more than one libation: "Sure, let's drink."
iheartizzie: Mark. The serious expression on Dr. Sloan's face as he says he's not gonna guarantee that was priceless. And how could he? That would be like George swearing off bumbling or Alex promising he won't look hot in that wife-beater.
4. What's next for George and Izzie after their talk?
McCritic: Admiring the realism of MTV's The Hills. Supporting the Iraq war. Watching soccer. After admitting they love each other, but blaming "timing" as the reason they couldn't be together, I figure they'll continue to do things that don't make any sense.
iheartizzie: I think they're going to cool it and try to rediscover their bond as friends before taking it to the next level. He may genuinely love Izzie, but George was smart to put the brakes on. He is, presumably, still married to Callie.
AndYouveGotTheHair: What was that? Did they break up or just take a step back? I don't know what to think about Gizzie anymore. I love them together a lot but some of these twists seem unrealistic (as Katherine Heigl herself said).
5. How much did you want to join that dance party?
McCritic: Enough for me to head to the local arcade and spend half the night playing Dance Dance Revolution.
iheartizzie: Should I be proud or embarrassed to admit that Mrs. iheartizzie and I actually did join in with our own dance party in our living room at the end?
AndYouveGotTheHair: So much. What a great scene, although it would have been better had Callie made a surprise appearance ... in only her underwear.

I actually really loved George and Izzie at the end of the episode. It was the first time that their relationship was about more than sex. I don't know if they'll keep "dating" or just be friends for the time being. Personally, I'll be happy with either. (loved everybody dancing at the end. that was adorable!)

Loved the dancing at the end. This season needs more dancing with Mer, Christina, and co! Also thought it was great when Meredith asked Lexi if she was drinking. Just like a big sister.

A totally shattering episode, and very realistic. I had a patient years ago who ruptured her carotid twice; there was about that much blood, and, like Nick, she didn't survive the second rupture. You just don't expect things like that to happen.
I wanted to smack Tucker and say, "GROW UP!" What did he think he was getting into when he married Bailey?
I couldn't tell from Derek's eyes whether or not Meredith was too late. I'm just not sure I trust him after watching him coming on to and kissing Nurse Rose. I really wish they'd bring McVet back.
Good ending. I loved the dance party and Meredith's acceptance of her sister--maybe not permanently, but at least for now. Cristina showed a surprising and welcome humanity in bringing her along and for what she said to her at the hospital.
Gizzie--I'm hoping they are going to fall back and resume their friendship. I just can't see George going back to Callie.
The writers have gotten back their stride; this season (except for the first episode) has been as good as season one. Here's hoping they can keep it up when they come back to work.

I dont trust derek either, in fact i really feel betrayed by what he has done and i dont think that is the end of it. if he really is that kind of person, then i think mer will be better off without him. However, its highly unlikely that Mcvet will be back.

george and izzie were amazing as a couple!! i love them together and i will always be a gizzie shipper. i was so devastated when they broke up at the end!!! it was so hard on me, cause i didn't really believe the reason they couldn't be together! they are perfect as a couple. and the storyline is confusing. what do they mean by their speech on the bed?? george was so romantic and sweet to izzie then, and i love them ever more after the dancing!!! :) i can't see how they can survive without being together after this??! they need each other and clearly LOVE each other as they said!! But whats this stupid Bad timing crap....the writers better pull it together. and i don't really see how gizzie couldn't work out??! after the last scene i was sure they could work out anything together!!! Gizzie rocks...and still my fav couple. Hope they are still a couple in due time...."someday" must be NOW!!

i actually never saw derek kiss rose...i shut my eyes and only heard the putrid noise of the kissing. ew he is not allowed to kiss anyone except mer or adddieeeeee. ewww. i felt sick after that. im pissed. but i guess when mer and der get back together it will only be sweeter. how bout some prom sex again?
i want george and izzie together. but its all good if they wait. and hopefully and ava figure something out. and the only one i wanted to live was seth green yet he was the only one to die. i kinda wanted a denny/izzie love connection thingy to go on with him and lexi. anyways. ya

i like the part when meredith asked lexie if she was drinking..blood is still thicker than water.
i hope meredith will moved on without derek..after the kissed it looks like derek and rose going to have a relationship in the future episodes...i have u derek!
i missed izzie and george friendship..they are better off as friends/ best friends.
christina - good humanitarian effort by bringing lexie @ mer's house.i hope this is the start of bonding between 2 sisters.

I am so devastated about Gizzie, seems like Shonda bowed to the haters. hello Shonda there are an awful lot of Gizzie fans out there, as much as haters or maybe more and you just pissed them all off, very very bad mistake.

I don't know if I am being too hopeful, but I hope she is breaking up Gizzie so they can start again later on the right foot without the affair. It is so clear to me just how totally in love they are, and this dance at the end showed george was right, it was not the chemistry but the timing.
I love them as friends, but I love them as lovers as well, and they can be both. Watching them dance and look at each other with so much love made me more convinced than ever they belong together.

That is it. I said all along if Shonda acted the coward and dropped my Gizzie, I was done, and I am. Those two are the best thing to ever happen on the show, EVER, and if Shonda is not smart enough to realize it, it is her loss.

I also watch for izzie, but I will wait and see. If in the next episode, they act like they never happened and they just magically stop loving each other, I am done. But if they show them still pining for each other, still in love but knowing right now is not the right time, in short, if they continue giving me hope that this is not over for good, well I will wait forever for those two. They are worth waiting for, but I need to be given some hope here.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE George and Izzie. I never took the Katherine interview as her bashing Gizzie as she has said so many times she loved the couple but hated they were written as a love affair,. as she felt it was out of character. So I am hoping Shonda did this so they can get together when the time is right and without hurting anyone.
I hope IheartIzzie is right and they become friends again and slowly fall in love again (well they are already but the kind of love that makes their relationship work).
Watching them dance, I don't know how anyone can claim they have no romantic chemistry because that was not friends chemistry to me.
It was so beautiful it made me cry.
Those two are amazing together and they cannot be over for good, my hear just could not take that.

McCritic is funny. I liked what they said about what other hiddend talents Nurse Rose might have.
Izzie and George were kind of growing on me but not really. It just was always weird to me and I've always been fond of Izzie relationship with Alex and I miss that terribly.
As for ava/rebecca and...I just don't understand that anymore. Maybe she's unhappy with her life and just likes to use alex as an escape out of her reality.
Nick bleeding out like that was just about the saddest death I've seen on Grey's since Denny's and that sweet guy in the fliped over paramedics truck in the "Crash Into Me Part One.
Tuck needs to be patience with Bailey. He knew what he was getting into when he married a doctor. And after reading a certain spoiler about Bailey and Tuck[which I sort of believe but not really] I just hope that their marriage will make it through the storm.
Other than that I really did enjoy this epsiode and am very excited to see what Shonda and company have in store for us.

I thought George and Izzie at the end were great! Hope that after this 'break-up' (which was very beautiful, with the I love you's and everything), they can start over as a couple some time.. Glad that they let George say that it was not their chemistry.. because they obviously have it.

Quite a boring episode...Only the Merder/Derrose and Gizzie moments were ok. Bailey doesn't deserve to be alone.
Oh btw Y'all know who's gonna be the new face for the Versace spring/summer 2008 campaign??

Since Thursday nights episode, I have been trying to give this Mer/Der thing alot of thought. There are so many spoilers and comments made by different ones on what will happen in episode 11. But, I'm still holding on to the comment PD made on GMA. He says something happens and they move forward with the relationship. I took that being positive for Mer/Der! But from the spoilers, it says that Der shows Mer the house plans and she basically tells him she isn't there yet but they will get there slowly together (something like that) and kisses him and runs off. Then he gets discouraged with her again and goes to the nurses station and ask Rose out on a date. I thought somebody said that would be the last scene of the episode with Mer/Der/Rose.??? If thats true, then where are they moving forward?? I took his comment as if we would know what was going to happen by the end of episode 11. Did anyone else see the interview with PD and get what I did out of it? A positive move for Mer/Der?? I'm still trying to believe that they will be together sooner than later! What do you guys think at this point?

I love GIZZIE so so much!! i almost cried when i watched last night's episode!! it was horrible to witness those two breaking up like that! i guess shonda did bow down to the anti-gizzie fans in the end. sighs. Buttt....in reality there are alot of Gizzie supporters out there!! And they deserve more than just a crappy reason to "break up", Bad timing?! gimme a break ppl....it was so unbelievable, if Gizzie is done, i'm done with Greys!! Gizzie was the best thing that ever happened to greys and if they are just taking a break i would be happy, tht they slowly romantically fell back to each other as lovers again!!! SOON....*crossing fingers* The ending with the "I love yous" and everything was dead on amazing, and so lovely!! i just adore them together....cuddling, and loving each other! It was wrong to break them apart writers!! Especially at the end when they were dancing in each other's arms, it was so touching! I really wanted george to state tht it wasn't their chemistry, cause it isn't!! or else they wouldn't be able to dance together like they did in the end! So loving and the way they looked at each other, only spoke of LOVE!! so romantic...and sweet. SOO....gizzie isn't dead!! I hope not....if they end up pairing with anyone else, i am gonna flip!! n thts in for greys for me. seriously.

ugh! horrible episode! i really didnt like the amont of blood on lexie and the fact that she didnt change into something else...
agree with everyone who says the rose and derek kiss was awkward..
getting tired of izzie and her being all upset and feeling sorry for herself
and alex!?!!?!?! what the heck was that all about with him and ava at the end?!?!?!?!?! i was like WHAT! anyone have any idea where that is going?

The more you try to read meaning to the hints patrick has being droping these last few weeks the more you will be upset. I am a grey fan and therefore i will watch till the end, however, i have lost faith in derek. You have no idea how betayed i felt by him and i have a feeling its not the end with him and rose. The fact that she was signed for 7 epis says it all. i dont think i will be able to like him as b4 even if he and mer end up together. I cant be bothered anymore with the r/ship, its just too stressful.
I love mer and christina's r/ship for that reason alone i will be there for them till the end. Lexie is growing on me and i will like to see her and mer resolve there differences. There is also bailey, sloan, callie and so many other characters that i think fans are attached to and would want to see them every week.
