Ok... let's all think about this...they still have another two season left so they can't put MER/DER together for good till the last season. Remember how the other shows were i.e. Niles/Daphne..etc. The writers have to make it interesting., as hard as it is for us to watch, but you know in the end they will all be with who they should be with. Keep that in the back of your minds and have fun watching :-)

ok first of all its not "eva" its AVA.... second alex is one of the best and most intriguing characters on the show... i would be crushed if he left the show and i know he never will..
i know alex isnt the best guy in the world but sleepign around is how he deals with everything.. ava is the one character who brings out the best in alex and brings out the side underneath the jerk... remember, "a nice guy disguised as a jerk" (now i dont like lexie and him together, but the girl has a point with this quote)
this season I KNOW he's gonna change and he's gonna grow up! I just know.. this is my pick for one of the cliffhangers at the end of the next episode...
Alex drives to Ava's house to talk to her, but when he gets there and knocks on the door, her husband answers and they kinda just stare at each other for a minute and then it ends with that scene (she's not listed as a guest star, so its more likely that her husband would answer the door)

but is anyone else a little pissed that Cristina has nothing going on for her anymore? it's like burke's disappearance totally ruined her life... which it didn't. she's strong enough to handle something more. come on, Shonda!

i mean, remember ross and rachel?
by the time they finally got together, they ran into some roadblocks, which essentially ended up with Ross sleeping with another woman... but i guess it was reasonable. he was just in so much pain because he thought they were over and that rachel was sleeping with mark...
well anyway my point is, in the end they realized that they were meant for each other. and REMEMBER, ross was ready for a more serious relationship and imagined thier future together more than rachel did. see? but after years of foolishness and stupidity, they eventually realized that they wre supposed to be together. they loved each other. see? Shonda isn't THAT evil that she would just throw away something so amazing.
hang on, people.
this is just the beginning.

thank you lauren for clearing tht whole eva thing up. its ava people! and you consider yourselves fans...anyway, i agree totally with what you are saying. and grace, you have a good point, but the thing is... i like seeing meredith and derek happy together. it makes me smile. =] that was the thing with ross and rachel... i was happy they got together, but it was the series finale so you never got to see them happy together. i wanna see derek and meredith together, happy. i love the episodes when they are together and happy, they are some of my favorite episodes-like in season 3 when she chooses derek. ok sorry for rambling... i just dont want it to be a ross/rachel ending. i want them to be happy now and forever...

I find the whole struggle for MerDer very irritating. Those two are MEANT to be together. I don't like Rose. We don't know her yet, but I really don't think we need to know her. She's just another distraction. There's almost no chemistry between her and Derrick, it's just a logic thing, he could convince himself to like her because she seems to want what he wants. But Derrick and Meredith have to end up together.
But Rose isn't the only one I find annoying. Meredith is getting pretty annoying too. She wants Derrick, but she doesn't want to commit to a relationship, she doesn't want him to see anyone else, but she doesn't want to be serious with him. We get that Meredith has issues! But for every one step forward, she takes two steps back. At this rate they'll only end up together when they're bitter 80 year olds who've gone through life angry because they're constantly fighting to be together.

die rose. derekisformeredith i couldn't agree with u more! that's exactly what i keep thinking everytime so says "u know what, that's ok, be patient, u know they'll end up together! that's not at all the point! viewers derive joy from seeing them together, having fun, tease eachother, support eachother with their issues, having fun! we never got to see this relationship developing and i'd hate to go through the show pissed and waiting and just in the last episode see them back together.
i mean, it's not only the destination that counts, it's about the trip-mostly. and 18 episodes of merder out of 71, its just mizery!!!

I think this show is taking a turn for the worst, and i think that they will lose viewer if Der and Rose are together.
I have not watched this show for this long to end up with cliff hangers, nor do i want them. I want answers! Answers like Why can't Mer make up her mind, What is Der's problem, and Will rose stick around?
Having cliff hangers on an episode that could be the last one for some time will lose interest, and viewers. And it would lose even more if Der and Rose were together right before the cliff hangers.
I dont know about you but I am personally tired of the epsiodes with the dumb endings like someone standing out in the rain or the episodes that drag out tooo long. I am also tired of the people who are popping out of no where and are there for like a few episodes before the become this huge part of the plot, when we dont even know that much about them. (ROSEEEE!)
I am tired of people who we do not learn much about, such as Mers dad even though we know he is having issues.
The ending to last episode was good because Mer and Lex were getting closer but how will that affect the show.
I also understand that the show lost Buerk, but I do not like Haun and we do not know much about her even though she is one of the main Chars.
The writers need to end the strike and start writting good episodes before all interest is lost. I dont know if you agree but i personally think previous seasons were better, and LONGER.

I reallly hate rose. But yall got 2 amit dat it iz kind of nice 2 see Derek with somebody else. Meredith ineeds 2 go get her man. It would be cool 2 see a catfight between Rose & Meredith. But seroulsy i dont think dats going 2 happen.

thats what im sayin carrie. this show is going downhill. it makes me sad. but i will never stop watching it. and i have just remembered something. i read a while ago, before this season even started, that derek would go away for a bit it in the middle of the season because he is tired of meredith. um. maybe thats what will happen cuz rose is only suppose to be on for 4 episodes and this is going to be her 4th...
i really hope derek stays though. he has made me mad, but i still love him. =) pleasepleaseplease just have meredith and derek happy!! it will make me and prolly all the other fans of grey's very very happy! and also, bring addison back, i used to hate her but now i am beginning to realize that i am miss her. argh. just make this freakin show better. seriously!

i know its getting boring 2 but something got 2 happen with mer der. maybe rose will open mers eyes and she will finally jump over her own shadow and grow up
