I used to love MerDer, but they have sort of lost their interest for me.
I love Gizzie and really want them to be together.
I don't really care about the other couples.

I think MerDer has been stretched out for waayy too long now. SOMETHING needs to happen... either they'll stop fooling around and actually BREAK IT OFF (rather than be the exact same as before w more sex this time) or they can actually accept the fact that they can't be without eachother and get SERIOUS. I think they way Shonda Rhimes keeps everything so ambiguous is a complete cop-out... She knows the season has plenty more episodes so she's just wasting episodes that are completely about random one-show patients and situations [and NOT at all about the central characters' lives] and the actual storyline of the show really never goes anywhere. Think about it... since season 4 has started... can you name many differences? A couple of things have been made "official" and are "for sure" now compared to the ending of season 3.. but nothing drastic has happened!
george and izzie want eachother. Callie knows.
Burke and Cristina are definitely over.
Meredith and derek are STILL together, but going nowhere.
Alex is an ass.
Alex loves Eva, but doesn't want to admit it.
Sloan is a womanizer. With no real drama, like the other characters.
Bailey and her husband don't get along.
The Chief.... is the Chief.
And cristina is "FINE".
The only characters that have even noteworthy changes in their lives are Callie and Bailey.
JEEZ SHONDA! End the strike, Let's all be friends, and please... Give us some Grey's Anatomy. Some good ol' suspenseful, extremely dramatic, cliff-hanging Grey's Anatomy.

First Izzie, I think she should take a break. The time she supposetly needed to get over Danny was absurtly short. She loved him soo much!! And she was over him within a year?? I dont get it. He has a very good personality. I imagine he was the kid that good bullied at school and took a attitude so ppl would get scared away from him. He wants to be cool very desperatly. And because Izzie was the first and only who looked beneeth that shell I think she is est for him. Oh, and I really think he will go in pediatric surgery. It fits him like a glove.
George and Callie will get back together. George will realize that what he had with her was actually great and had very good future. He is just a young kid. He needs to grow up. And I think he will best when Callie gets or is pregnant. When he realizes he is getting a child and has to be responsible, he will make an excellent hubby. Oh, and George will go into Cardio. (remember elevator surgery)
Christina still has to get over Burke. In her own way she believed in her relationship with him and that was torn away. I think she might be a lesbian. No offence. I like her char very much! But no man will ever be good enough for her. She needs someone who she doesn't have to look up to. Someone who is equal. Ofcourse she will deny it, but eventually I think she might end up with a girl. A very nice girl.
Mark will get Hahn. He is already falling in love with her, even though she is denying it. He loved Addison, but she is no good for him. She is with her head in the clouds over Derek. Mark will do some recue-ing. He will do something that will make him special for a (short) while and will make everybody look different to him. It already started with the pro-bono thing for the boy with the ears. No clue how Hahn and McSteamy will get together, but they will. I think...
Miranda will divorce Tucker, and Richard will divorce Adele. I think Tucker will get the baby and Miranda will try to drown herself in the work. And become eventually an excellent Chief. And that will be the end of Richard in GA.
Addison will get the herbi-guy from LA. I dont think we will see any of it. She has left GA.
And now Meredith and McDreamy aka Derek. They will always remain together. Simply because it's somthing we all have to believe in. It's a bit like the Gone in the Wind story. Meredith is Scarlett and Derek is Reth. They love each other very much, but Meredith needs an eye-opener. Maybe Derek will be in a crisis and Meredith realizes she doesn't want to lose him. They need a fresh start and they were already heading to it. I think that Rose might be the eye-opener. If she finds out about them she will do everything in her power to win him back again and probably will find her true self. Because she is now a little bit to naief. They will get married soon I think. And I think it will be Meredith who will ask him. She doesn't want to end up like her mum.
I really am looking forward to the next episodes/seasons. I hope the strike will be over soon. I support the writers action, but I need my series back!!

Izzie was upset because she was with Alex and he cheated on her, she was humiliated, has nothing to do with being in love. She liked him, thought this was goign somewhere then he cheated on her right after they had been kissing. Ask any girl how she would feel about that and she will tell you she would be upset, even if she wasn't in love with the guy. I know I was when my first boyfriend did it to me and I had been planning to dump him as I just didn't love him anymore. I was hurt even though I didn't love him and I felt humiliated. Then Izzie had to go through a whole chorus of I told you so, even from George, that one seemed to hurt her more than anything that even George would say she had been looking for it by becoming involved with Alex.
I think Izzie had a crush on Alex and liked him but like Katherine and Shonda said, it never got to love.
Remember her telling Alex that even if she didn't want him, she didn't want anyone else to want him, that is not love, that is human nature.
That said, she was always more jealous of George's every relationship. I remember even back in season 1 when Alex gave George a condom for his date, look at Izzie's pissed off face. Then her jealousy of Callie from day one went beyond anything, she spent a whole conversation with Denny talking about George and how Callie was stealing him from her. She never acted like that with Alex, that jealous or the way she would freak out whenever George would move out or keep his distance from her, her total terror at losing him.
This kind of need for George, love for him, she never had for Alex, not even sure she had it for Denny, George is her person.
I don't see Izzie like you do. Izzie wants marriage and kids, not sex. She had great sex with both Hank and Alex but it was not enough for her. Passion fizzles out real fast, ask any couples together for a long time. Love, trust and friendship stays. If Izzie is so into passion and sex, why did she stay with Denny? They never had sex and they shared two chaste kisses but she loved him more than Hank and Alex put together and was totally happy.
But then why do you think George is not a passionate guy? He kept Callie plenty satisfied in the bedroom front, didn't he? In fact, he loved sex maybe just a bit too much. I assume by passion you mean sex. Alex is good at that, but not much more, which is why he never gets the girls to fall in love with him. He is a sex toy for them nothing more, same with Mark.
But I think George can be as passionate as they come when it cares about something and he and Izzie have a love that is deep and true. Just watch the way Izzie looks at George with so much love and the way she smiles at him, has she ever smiled at anyone like that, even Denny, let alone Alex? That is love!
The great sex was not due to the forbidden aspect of it. It was due to George and Izzie being themselves due to the alcohol. It relaxed them. Alcohol lets your inhibitions go away and be yourself. Without the alcohol, when they were a real couple, George and Izzie were acutely aware they had broken up a marriage for this and they put an inane amount of pressure on themselves for having the perfect night to make it worth it. Nobody can have great sex or a good relationship with that amount of guilt and pressure and baggage. Shonda herself said it was not their chemistry, they had that, it was the baggage they were carrying from the way they had started.
My hope is they become friends again and let the romance happen naturally this time around. They have the love, the chemistry was totally back in the dancing scene, they just need to be themselves and get together the right kind of way.
And I will shoot myself if she and Alex get together again, this relationship was WRONG and sick from the start.

Wow.. you take this very serious...
First with passionate I mean: not having sex all the time... Passionate is when you think of the one you love getting weak knees. Butterflies when you see him. Sounds like being in love, but it still can be there when the being in love part has switched to loving.. I think Izzie doesn't want to settle. Yet... She seems like that, because she likes to bake and clean and so on, but most of all she wants a careere.
She wants to prove that she is an amazing surgion and well, from my point of view, when she gets home she doesn't want to just sit on the couch and rub each others feet every day. She needs action, thats why she has all those compulsive things.. And that doesn't mean sex all the time, but at least something exiting. Not everyday, but regularly.
Maybe she will get this from George.. could be.. I dont know George very well.. To be honest (and please all you very kind ppl, dont kill me) I dont like George. He is the weakest link. Although he has some very strong moments. He is the youngest of the all.. and not with years, but how he behaves.. Ah well, I wont say to much about this, because you ppl will like me even less.
I just said, Alex loves Izzie, how I see it. And he can make her world tremble and shake in a positive way. And I think that Izzie likes him too. Ok, maybe not love. But maybe in the future it might come.
Alex is a stubborn Jackass. But try to look beneath that and to be honest, it would be a guy who I could fall in love with. If he looked different, because I don't think he is that hot.
Ah well, we will see what suprises the writers have for us in the future. And I dont care how it turns out, I love this show!! Even when Izzie stays with George, Derek doesn't want Meredith back, Sloan doesn't get Hahn and Christina ends up like Patricia... (ieuw)
I am just guessing and hoping that my romantic mind wont be to much dissapointed...

George would make an amazing daddy, but he has to have kids with Izzie. I was talking it over with my friends who are also Gizzie fans and think Gizzie babies with George's beautiful blue eyes, which made me fall in love with him, and Izzie's beauty and both their amazing smiles, would be so beautiful. They are the one couple who love each other and like each other and make each other happy just being together and they would make amazing parents. I could see them running around with a bunch of kids.
I think George is actually pretty mature, enough that he knows the next time he gets married, he needs to be totally sure and committed. It takes a real man to admit his mistakes and want to fix it.
I find him more mature than all the other guys put together, esp. Alex and Mark, which are nothing more than manwhores really.
As for Alex and Izzie, I thought Alex cared about her and maybe loved her, but she didn't love him and he never made her lit up the way George does.
George seems to be the most important person in Izzie's life. Just look at how she smiled at him when they were dancing last episode. Even after breaking up, she was totally into him, she always had a certain distance with Alex, not with George
I fail to see how Alex made her world shake, because they had great sex, she had greats ex with Hank too, yet she had no hesitation in dumping Alex without a second glance when real love came around with Denny and then later with George. Plus, it has been established her first night with George was the best sex of her life, so even then Alex does not come close.
Not sure why Alex fans want him with a girl who will always put George or someone else above him.
I also agree that Alex is not that hot, he has a constantly constipated looking-face.
In fact, I find him the least attractive of the bunch.
And he doesn't make love to a woman, he mauls them like an animal.
Give me a George and Izzie love scene like their first one where they smiled at each other and caressed each other's face over Lexzie, or Ava and Alex or Alex and Addison or Alex and Lexie's sex acrobatics any day.
Not sure why anyone would like Alex. I would say because some think he is hot, but the poster above doesn't find him hot, maybe the bad guy aspect some women are weirdly attracted to.

Okay im really trying to stay positive..
I am a huge MerDer fan. The show would be no where if it weren't for them. I mean their the main characters. I think somethings going on with Derek. He needs to seriously sit Mer down and they need a good talk. Der needs to get over Mer almost dying- but can you blame him? he pulled her out of the water. And Mer needs to once and for all forgive Der. Did you guys ever notice Mer never really forgave Derek for Addison. They had prom s*x and then that was it. She never forgave him. They needs to fix all of their isssues. Mer's finally pretty muched fixed her own. Now she needs to do the same with Derek.
I think as far as Rose goes, I thought something would happen with Mark and her, because she was suppose to be on this season for 7 episodes but apparently that may have changed to 4 episodes because of the strike, so maybe they cut her character off early? Ha I hope. This gives me hope for Mer and Der. I have a good feeling about them. They're ment to be together. Rose and Der would go no where. It'd be pointless. I think the writers know fans are getting annoied and need a happier Greys Anatomy so I think something good will happen. Der's suppose to be giving Mer a surprise. From what Ive read it doesnt sound like she reacts real well but they always twist their words around. They could be outside and shes "chilly" you never know.

I hate George and Callie together, no chemistry at all, plus I believe she was rebound for Mer and that George's heart belongs to Izzie. Despite what the show is doing to them, I want George and Izzie together. I liked her with Denny but I have wanted her with George from day 1. Never liked her with Alex, their love scenes were so rough and unloving, and I am not into the sex-sex scenes. I love some tenderness and love in those scenes and Gizzie is great at that. The way they look at each other, the way he kissed her shoulder last episode in bed, makes me melt into a pud of goo.
Unfortunately, I am scared he will listen to his mom as he is a good guy and try again with Callie, ugh, and they both deserve betetr than a failing marriage.

Maddie, I wish I could have your optimism, but Shonda broke up all the couples she ever put together, all of them. Burke and Cristina, Alex and Izzie, Alex and Addison, Izzie and Denny, Richard and Adele, Derek and Addison, Mark and Addison, George and Izzie, and now it seems Bailey and her husband.
I thought Alex really loved Ava but they turned this into another sex-only relationship, ugh, and they now treat each other like crap.
I adored (and will always adore) George and Izzie, but it does not seem Shonda ever had any intention of giving the Gizzie fans the payoff we waited so long to have, she couln't give us even one episode of happiness, one real kiss, one real date.
And then there is MerDer who she loves torturing and is now saying they only have sex, even though we know it is not true.
So right now, I don't have any hope for Gizzie, MerDer and Alex and Ava, none at all. MerDer wll end up together at the end as they are the lead couple but expect this to happen only at the end after they have been separated the whole series à la Ross and Rachel.
This show sucked. I left after Gizzie broke up, I just got burned way too many times and this was the last straw.
I do hope I am wrong about MerDer for your sake.

Then her jealousy of Callie from day one went beyond anything, she spent a whole conversation with Denny talking about George and how Callie was stealing him from her. She never acted like that with Alex, that jealous or the way she would freak out whenever George would move out or keep his distance from her, her total terror at losing him.
This kind of need for George, love for him, she never had for Alex, not even sure she had it for Denny, George is her person.
I don't see Izzie like you do. Izzie wants marriage and kids, not sex. She had great sex with both Hank and Alex but it was not enough for her. Passion fizzles out real fast, ask any couples together for a long time. Love, trust and friendship stays. If Izzie is so into passion and sex, why did she stay with Denny? They never had sex and they shared two chaste kisses but she loved him more than Hank and Alex put together and was totally happy.
But then why do you think George is not a passionate guy? He kept Callie plenty satisfied in the bedroom front, didn't he? In fact, he loved sex maybe just a bit too much. I assume by passion you mean sex. Alex is good at that, but not much more, which is why he never gets the girls to fall in love with him. He is a sex toy for them nothing more, same with Mark.
But I think George can be as passionate as they come when it cares about something and he and Izzie have a love that is deep and true. Just watch the way Izzie looks at George with so much love and the way she smiles at him, has she ever smiled at anyone like that, even Denny, let alone Alex? That is love!
The great sex was not due to the forbidden aspect of it. It was due to George and Izzie being themselves due to the alcohol. It relaxed them. Alcohol lets your inhibitions go away and be yourself. Without the alcohol, when they were a real couple, George and Izzie were acutely aware they had broken up a marriage for this and they put an inane amount of pressure on themselves for having the perfect night to make it worth it. Nobody can have great sex or a good relationship with that amount of guilt and pressure and baggage. Shonda herself said it was not their chemistry, they had that, it was the baggage they were carrying from the way they had started.
My hope is they become friends again and let the romance happen naturally this time around. They have the love, the chemistry was totally back in the dancing scene, they just need to be themselves and get together the right kind of way.
And I will shoot myself if she and Alex get together again, this relationship was WRONG and sick from the start.

Wow.. you take this very serious...
First with passionate I mean: not having sex all the time... Passionate is when you think of the one you love getting weak knees. Butterflies when you see him. Sounds like being in love, but it still can be there when the being in love part has switched to loving.. I think Izzie doesn't want to settle. Yet... She seems like that, because she likes to bake and clean and so on, but most of all she wants a careere.
She wants to prove that she is an amazing surgion and well, from my point of view, when she gets home she doesn't want to just sit on the couch and rub each others feet every day. She needs action, thats why she has all those compulsive things.. And that doesn't mean sex all the time, but at least something exiting. Not everyday, but regularly.
Maybe she will get this from George.. could be.. I dont know George very well.. To be honest (and please all you very kind ppl, dont kill me) I dont like George. He is the weakest link. Although he has some very strong moments. He is the youngest of the all.. and not with years, but how he behaves.. Ah well, I wont say to much about this, because you ppl will like me even less.
I just said, Alex loves Izzie, how I see it. And he can make her world tremble and shake in a positive way. And I think that Izzie likes him too. Ok, maybe not love. But maybe in the future it might come.
Alex is a stubborn Jackass. But try to look beneath that and to be honest, it would be a guy who I could fall in love with. If he looked different, because I don't think he is that hot.
Ah well, we will see what suprises the writers have for us in the future. And I dont care how it turns out, I love this show!! Even when Izzie stays with George, Derek doesn't want Meredith back, Sloan doesn't get Hahn and Christina ends up like Patricia... (ieuw)
I am just guessing and hoping that my romantic mind wont be to much dissapointed...
And it could be that there will be a lot of misunderstanding, because I'm not that good in English.

George would make an amazing daddy, but he has to have kids with Izzie. I was talking it over with my friends who are also Gizzie fans and think Gizzie babies with George's beautiful blue eyes, which made me fall in love with him, and Izzie's beauty and both their amazing smiles, would be so beautiful. They are the one couple who love each other and like each other and make each other happy just being together and they would make amazing parents. I could see them running around with a bunch of kids.
I think George is actually pretty mature, enough that he knows the next time he gets married, he needs to be totally sure and committed. It takes a real man to admit his mistakes and want to fix it.
I find him more mature than all the other guys put together, esp. Alex and Mark, which are nothing more than manwhores really.
As for Alex and Izzie, I thought Alex cared about her and maybe loved her, but she didn't love him and he never made her lit up the way George does.
George seems to be the most important person in Izzie's life. Just look at how she smiled at him when they were dancing last episode. Even after breaking up, she was totally into him, she always had a certain distance with Alex, not with George
I fail to see how Alex made her world shake, because they had great sex, she had greats ex with Hank too, yet she had no hesitation in dumping Alex without a second glance when real love came around with Denny and then later with George. Plus, it has been established her first night with George was the best sex of her life, so even then Alex does not come close.
Not sure why Alex fans want him with a girl who will always put George or someone else above him.
I also agree that Alex is not that hot, he has a constantly constipated looking-face.
In fact, I find him the least attractive of the bunch.
And he doesn't make love to a woman, he mauls them like an animal.
Give me a George and Izzie love scene like their first one where they smiled at each other and caressed each other's face over Lexzie, or Ava and Alex or Alex and Addison or Alex and Lexie's sex acrobatics any day.
Not sure why anyone would like Alex. I would say because some think he is hot, but the poster above doesn't find him hot, maybe the bad guy aspect some women are weirdly attracted to.
I'd take a sensitive, sweet, funny, brave, caring, loyal guy like George whose smile can lit up a room over a boring one-dimensional bad guy like Alex any day.
I love tender love scenes not bad porno ones.

Oh and why would anyone kill you for not liking a character, it is a free country and everyone can like or hate who they want, even if we don't agree. It is a show after all. I am very passionate about Gizzie and George, who is my favorite character, but I do respect other people have different opinions. To me, passion and love is when you look at someone and your whole being lights up, which is how Izzie looks at George. And he looks at her.

Okay im really trying to stay positive..
I am a huge MerDer fan. The show would be no where if it weren't for them. I mean their the main characters. I think somethings going on with Derek. He needs to seriously sit Mer down and they need a good talk. Der needs to get over Mer almost dying- but can you blame him? he pulled her out of the water. And Mer needs to once and for all forgive Der. Did you guys ever notice Mer never really forgave Derek for Addison. They had prom s*x and then that was it. She never forgave him. They needs to fix all of their isssues. Mer's finally pretty muched fixed her own. Now she needs to do the same with Derek.
I think as far as Rose goes, I thought something would happen with Mark and her, because she was suppose to be on this season for 7 episodes but apparently that may have changed to 4 episodes because of the strike, so maybe they cut her character off early? Ha I hope. This gives me hope for Mer and Der. I have a good feeling about them. They're ment to be together. Rose and Der would go no where. It'd be pointless. I think the writers know fans are getting annoied and need a happier Greys Anatomy so I think something good will happen. Der's suppose to be giving Mer a surprise. From what Ive read it doesnt sound like she reacts real well but they always twist their words around. They could be outside and shes "chilly" you never know.
I have hope.

I hate George and Callie together, no chemistry at all, plus I believe she was rebound for Mer and that George's heart belongs to Izzie. Despite what the show is doing to them, I want George and Izzie together. I liked her with Denny but I have wanted her with George from day 1. Never liked her with Alex, their love scenes were so rough and unloving, and I am not into the sex-sex scenes. I love some tenderness and love in those scenes and Gizzie is great at that. The way they look at each other, the way he kissed her shoulder last episode in bed, makes me melt into a pud of goo.
Unfortunately, I am scared he will listen to his mom as he is a good guy and try again with Callie, ugh, and they both deserve betetr than a failing marriage.

Maddie, I wish I could have your optimism, but Shonda broke up all the couples she ever put together, all of them. Burke and Cristina, Alex and Izzie, Alex and Addison, Izzie and Denny, Richard and Adele, Derek and Addison, Mark and Addison, George and Izzie, and now it seems Bailey and her husband.
I thought Alex really loved Ava but they turned this into another sex-only relationship, ugh, and they now treat each other like crap.
I adored (and will always adore) George and Izzie, but it does not seem Shonda ever had any intention of giving the Gizzie fans the payoff we waited so long to have, she couln't give us even one episode of happiness, one real kiss, one real date.
And then there is MerDer who she loves torturing and is now saying they only have sex, even though we know it is not true.
So right now, I don't have any hope for Gizzie, MerDer and Alex and Ava, none at all. MerDer wll end up together at the end as they are the lead couple but expect this to happen only at the end after they have been separated the whole series à la Ross and Rachel.
This show sucked. I left after Gizzie broke up, I just got burned way too many times and this was the last straw.
I do hope I am wrong about MerDer for your sake.

Shonda seriously chickened out with Gizzie, bowing to the haters. I think she will figure out just how many fans Gizzie have and how furious they are at her. I have stopped watching and won't watch again.

i liked gizzie but im not sure if i like them better together or just as friends i mean remember up until that one episode in season 3 they were so cute when they were like acting all best friendy... anyway not happy with the ava and alex story line shes not in the next episode which is bad but shes not off the show so i think they need to put her character on regularly for like 5 episodes and finish it or leave it and they need to stop making every other like 2 episodes she comes back
