I love all the Izzie/Alex lovers!! I'm a huge fan of them together too. When Denny died and Alex carried Izzie away - awe man, good stuff. All the Alex haters - at least he's honest. And I think it'd be great if Callie and George move on and Callie finds someone that deserves her - but please use her more!! I don't want Bailey to get divorced b/c everyone has disfunctunal relationships, give someone some stabibility. Make both her and her hubby realize how important it is to work it out. I really don't want the Chief and Bailey to hook up, and I have a feeling it could head that way.

Ugh Alex and Izzie were the gross ones. I think all the Alex and Izzie fans want them together just because they find both of them hot. But two hot characters together don't necessaily mean a hot couple. Those two didn't love ecah other, or he did, but she surely didn't, she spent all her time with him talking about George and Denny, the two guys she has ever really LOVED. Katherine heigl herself said Izzie never loved Alex, he was her little sex toy.

Well Tess, seems like your friend didn't just leave because of Gizzie as she said she would come back when the stories were good again, which makes me think she didn't like anything about the show.
My friends are the opposite. Pretty much everyone I know whow atches, about 15 people, watch for Gizzie and they ALL left when they ended.
That was the one reason why they watched religiously every week.
I am still watching, but if Alex and Izzie ever reared its ugly, disgusting head again, I would quit for sure.
They were the worst couple I have ever seen in 16 years of watching TV, and they had zero chemistry to boot.
Thankfully, Shonda doesn't seem a big fan either so I doubt they will go there again. She dumped them really soon and terribly like they deserved.
At least Gizzie had an end full of I love yous and then we got this lovely dance with them totally lost in each other.
I tell you, when george and Izzie look at ecah other with so much love, it makes me swoon, and no couple has ever made me swoon before.
I don't get the constant Alex is honest stuff his fans desperately throw out as it is his only quality. What I do not get about all this George and Izzie hate is this....have NONE of you married your best friend? Because I did, and thats why George with Izzie makes perfect sense. Well, I have got news for you, if Izzie has never loved Alex, I don't think those feelings will magically appear like that. He was sex to her and that is it. She never looked at him or smiled at him like she does George or had as strong a connection with him. She and George had a connection of from epi 4 of season 1, and it was always obvious to me they had more than friendship, they were way too jealous every time the other got with someone else, way too close, way too obsessed with each other. I remember convos Izzie had with Alex and Denny where she kept talking about George and that was way before they slept together.
She and George only realized it wouldn't work this time because of timing and I am sure the baggage that comes from having an affair. They didn't say it would never work or that the love isn't real, in fact they said the I love you even as they broke up.
I would hate it if Shonda chickened out and put Izzie with Alex, the shallow hot giil with hot boy winning again to please all the shallow fans out there when George and Izzie have a relationship a million times better and a love way more special.
I am sorry if its hurt you when people bash Alex, hey it hurts me when people bash Gizzie, George, Izzie or celebrate their ending but I let them because it is a free country and to be honest, the haters don't seem to care at all about the Gizzie fans' feelings, so why should I?
I keep reading the Alex fans saying he is so honest. If he is so honest, why is he screwing a married mother, shouldn't he be honest to her husband about that?

I also hope that if this Writers Strike ever ends that they need to find a new love interest for Christina. She been though alot already with the whole Erica Hughn thing.

I'm so dissapointed with season 4. I hate the whole Gizzie thing, not because I don't think best friends can't be couples, it happens sometimes, but most of the time romance is one thing and friendship, even truly deep ones- is another. But of course, I like Callie and George together even if I thought it was crazy for them to marry the way they did. Derek and Meredith doesn't seem to 'get' one another, and I wonder sometimes if they should just give up and try to be happy with other people. It's just hard as a viewer to 'give up' on Meredith and Derek, since I've been rooting for them to make it since season one. Somehow all the characters seem at a loss this season, and I hope the show gets a boost soon, because this might be the beginning of the end for my favorite show.

I am totally rooting for George and Izzie to get back together, they are the best couple the show has ever had.

I love George and Izzie too and beyond furious that they did not even get a chance together. Those two just fit together so well. I never thought they fitted with anyone else. George and Callie was beyond awkward. And I loathed Alex and Izzie and never really bought into ehr and Denny.
But she and George, I believe in their love completely. If the show does not put them back together, it will break my heart.

Don't care who Alex ends up with as long as it is not Izzie. She belongs with George.
