Ahh! Congratulations, Katherine! She deserves to win, IMO. I think she's a great actress!

i'm happy for katherine's golden globe nod, but how about everyone else on greys!? she already won an emmy. how about sara ramirez?? sanda oh?? chandra wilson?? they are all fantastic and very (if not more) dererving. i think katherine's a great actress but in all honesty her character is getting insanely aggrivating. to channel chandler bing, can she get more annoying??

Rachel Griffiths deserves to win!

katherine is great. congrats. but she's the only one who got nominated? chandra, ellen, sandra should also be nominated...

I don't get why KH is getting so much attention. I found her character annoying after the Denny stuff. And the other female actresses are just as good, if not better. Why she gets all the props, I just don't know.

Katherine Heigl is great, but why is Ellen Pompeo never nominated for anything? I think Ellen should get a nod for a Golden Globe as well.

Congrats for the nods. But I also agree that Chandra Wilson, Ellen Pompeo, and Sara Ramirez deserve nods, since they did excellent acting last season! I can't see why the Golden Globes don't give these girls respect! C'mon! Perhaps next year.

Ok so Katherine is a good actress and i am happy for her, but, what exactly is going on? why isnt any other cast members getting any noms? it not fair, at least we all know there are lots of talented actors on that show. I am guessing this is Katherins's chance to shine in hollywood. oh well... there is always next year.

I agree with everyone here...KH is a good actress but what about everyone else? Last season was intense for Grey's and unfortunately for EP, she really had to act depressed/sad/hurt alot, which can't be easy at all...plus I thought all the Meredith/Ellis stuff was amazingly acted by EP and deserving of an award. Also SO, CW, and SR definitely deserve mad props for how they portray their characters...not to mention, none of the guys ever get noticed either...and they rock!
I hope these amazing actors/actresses don't continue to be overlooked year after year...

Not completely true, TR got an Emmy nom and Emmys are big. He also got nominated for an International Press Academy's SATELLITE Awards. (along with Ellen, Chandra and Katie for KU) And patrick got nominated for a People choice award. Chandra did too. Both Chandra and Sandra were nominated for an Emmy as well.

Well, KH has been pretty big this year. Im not exactly sure why actually, other than for Knocked Up. Maybe the show is biased. Bigger stars this year are nominated? I dunno, really. I agree that some of the guys should have been nominated, but they've all gotten their nods on various award shows. Chandra and Pat are nominated for PCA's. Ellen got an award at the Italian award show. I think there maybe should have been a few more nominees, but really, as long as Grey's takes home one, I'm satisfied (though, the more the merrier! ;) ).

I'm happy for her but am surprise that Ellen, Sandra, T.R., Chandra and Sara didn't recieve nods.
I am however not surprise about the others. The storylines haven't been good for other characters like they have been for Kat's, Ellen's, Chandra, T.R, Sandra, and Sara's.
December 13th, 2007 11:03 PM
i have nothing against katherine but honestly, i belive ellen, chandra and sandra are better actors and thus they deserves to have the golden glovbe nods, Ellen most in particular. So hey, why isn't she nominated?
December 14th, 2007 12:43 AM
I don't think we'll ever know why Ellen didn't get a nod. Maybe she'll get one next year.

My money is on everyone but KH. KH unfortunately does not have the acting chops. Don't know how she got the Emmy really. In her acceptance speach that she deserved it because she worked her a$$ off, that was pretty insulting to anyone who is presented an accolade...how does anyone earn an award but to work their a$$ off? Now visibility...she is definitely out there...find a controversy and KH is in there knee deep with her gums aflappin'.
December 14th, 2007 6:04 PM
aww..i thought EP should have been nominated
=(

I'm glad that Katherine Heigl got nominated for this one; hopes aren't high, though, since she already won the Emmy. I admire her spirit about not crossing the picker line =D
Heigl aside, I'm also rooting for Christina Applegate. Haha.

yay Katherine!!!!!!!!!! :)

CONGRATS TO KH FOR HER GG NOMINATION!
She truly deserves the nom. Izzie is a very meaty role and she does it so well and make her so believably hateful. I love KH and her acting so yeah, hooray for her nom. I hope she will r
take home the GG as well. SO is another of my fav in GREYS but CW's role is nothing that stretching nor is EP's but i like them both on Greys.
