Irish Eyes - I think you are right about Mark. I've been thinking that Mark will be involved in someway too, just not sure if it will be to bring Mer/Der back together (being a good friend) or if he will hit on her if he thinks Der has moved on. And we all know that will make Derek HOT if he does that!! And since the tvguide article where Eric Dane says that there may be problems between Mark and Derek...I mean what else could it be....but Meredith! I kinda hope that doesn't happen because I like the relationship between Mark and Derek. And if that happens, Derek again will not have any friends except for the chief. I just hope whatever Shonda has in store for us where Mer/Der are concerned that it doesn't last long!! I just hope Mer/Der realizes that they need each other and FINALLY we can see them back as a HAPPY COUPLE that have made commitments to each other and are planning a wedding on a Ferryboat! (Thats what I have imagined it would be like for these two).

I just want the writers to know that if they end this season with only 11 episodes... everyone in America will hate them!!! thats all i have to say about that!

the article doesn't provide solid proof that episode 11 will be aired next year. "numerous sources" ? enough said.
