1. Why does Meredith care that Lexie slept with Alex?
McCritic: In the big picture, Meredith couldn't care less. In that moment? She's upset because Alex was one person she hadn't whined to all episode and she was disappointed to see he was busy doing her pseudo sister.
iheartizzie: I don't think she really does, at least she shouldn't. But it threw her for a loop at a time when Meredith is trying to figure out who she is, and whether she can make herself go after what she really needs in life - Derek.
AndYouveGotTheHair: Because her turf is being invaded? Alex, that is? First, Lexie was the girl from the bar. Now she's the girl sleeping with her friend. Even if they have gotten to know each other a little (Mer & Lexie) this can't sit well.
2. Izzie's pre-coital tears: A sign of extreme tiredness, or long-term problems for Gizzie?
iheartizzie: I'm sure fatigue played a role, but considering George and Izzie have only slept together once (drunkenly), this isn't a good indicator. Maybe Gizzie is meant to be, but this relationship doesn't exactly have a solid foundation now.
McCritic: Can't it be both? If Izzie can't have sex because she was in surgery all day, well, that doesn't bode well if you're trying to date a surgeon.
AndYouveGotTheHair: I don't know. She's probably nervous, but also tired. I can't imagine being on my feet that long, or doing a 36-hour shift or whatever.
3. Is Ava seriously gone? Seriously?
AndYouveGotTheHair: Seriously, she so is. Sigh.
McCritic: No. She'll be back once Karev shaves off that facial hair.
iheartizzie: After all they went through together last season, and then everything she said to him last week - not to mention appearing on the cover of TV Guide and generating all that hype? Ava can't be gone for good, can she? This Grey's Anatomy Insider says (and certainly hopes) not. I prefer Alva to Alexie.
4. Who will sleep together first: Callie and Mark? Or Richard and Dr. Hahn?
McCritic: Callie and Mark. They've already done the deed, for one thing. And Callie needs a strong guy to go toe-to-toe, and private part to private part, with her. Mark Sloan is that man.
iheartizzie: Gotta go with Callie and Mark. First of all, they already hooked up, so a second round isn't far-fetched. And after lambasting Cristina for her relationship with Burke, Erica Hahn sleeping with Richard would be a tad hypocritical.
AndYouveGotTheHair: Can we go with Mark Sloan and Dr. Hahn? Something about these doctors' personalities makes me think they would make a great couple.

#2 - Why does Izzie cry???? BECAUSE IZZIE is a HACK. Her character changes love interests every season. This too will not last. And matching Izzie and George together was a STUPID move for the writers to make.
And what about Callie??? Are the writers phasing her out??? Unbelievable. Two great minority actors (Callie and Burke), and they're written in as underdogs or quitters. Great move.

My take? Meredith is upset seeing Lexie and Alex together simply because she's forced to realize she cares more about her younger half-sister than she realized.. and would prefer to see Lexie not get hurt. (Meredith may try to fool us- herself- but she just can't help it: she is noble. Whether she likes it or not. Even unlikely Sloan called it.)
I enjoyed Izzie's dizzy yet inspired "patient rapport" again.. (saving ivory-billed-woodpecker-lover's life was, perhaps, more satisfyingly dramatic than seeing the doe in the pickup truck bound away- if not as funny-) but--
whoa. Alex and Izzie sure do leave a wake of destruction behind them in their romantic entanglements! They both "do" messy, I-want-what-I-want-right-now equally well. Think of all the preventive, pre-emptive damage control if they got together and stayed together! No more Ava and George et al. "roadkill"..

lately i havent been thrilled after each episode. i really dont think it was a huge deal for alex and lexie becuase alex will sleep with anyone. i think calli and mark will get together soon, but i really want her to get back with george. i want george to realize what he lost and dump that loser izzie....i noe it wont happen but its nice to dream....and i hope that Amanda is wrong bcuz i love callie and i hope she is not gettin phased out..i love callie forever!

Mer poured her heart to christina and all she can say is i dont know? i dont see how she is taking care of her at all.The scene at the uncall room with merder is so far the best most intimate scene i have seen so far on grey's. It doesnt always have to be about sex, they were just talking but you could feel the depth of their intimacy.
I am thinking if Shonda and team writes a merder scene and writes it well it could win them an oscar. There is just something about their chemistry that puts a continues smile on your face and wants you to keep watching them. ( God i am rambling, i know, i am just freaking hopeless were those two are concerned).
Hmm....i have a strong feeling that if Dr Hahn finds out izzie once cut her patient's LVAT wire and stole a heart, she wont be her fav person anymore. Even more ironic, the heart was taken right under Dr. Hahn's nose. LOL!
I swear to God izzie is too dramatic, does she have to cry that loud to send her message across to george? no wonder the guy looked so frightened.

Well,kudos to Bailey for knowing the "men' and Bravo to Derek for being the sad "eyes"..Gizzie can go away.. it's fruitless. Love Cristina's hard-knocked remarks..If you don't know, well, then you don't know. Mer is so deep... she has hip-waders on at all times, she will soften tho. Alex, another bravo , for the candor and honesty.. just sex.. ah -hum, he knows what he likes..Love Dr. Hahn...hardcore, too know hardcore, that's great....

I loved last nights episode! Each week gets better and better! There were so many funny scenes and meaningful things that happened! The old Grey's is BACK! Loved Derek and Mark! I really think their friendship is great and they are so funny together! I am so glad to finally see the growth of Meredith! I finally see light at the end of the tunnel! She is getting there and so much has happened with her in the last 2 episodes! One of my favorite parts was with Mer/Der in the on call room! I loved that scene for so many reasons! First of all, I loved the music..it was (from the epsiode in season 3 when Mer woke up from drowning and Derek was standing in Mer's hospital door way and went over and kissed her).
I loved how they were laying there holding each other. Their love for each other to me was more visible than ever in that scene. The look on their faces of sadness and the wanting for each other that they share is heart breaking. This just proves more and more why I love Patrick and Ellen together! Their presence on screen is so real! In their scenes you can tell they are so comfortable with each other. (They are so much like a real life couple and I know they aren't) .I just can't say enough about these two! Their chemsitry to me is the most believable than any couple on tv!
I really think these two characters will be together soon. They are just getting there slowly and we should enjoy it each step of the way. Even though Derek is suppose to date someone, I have faith in Shonda that it will NOT amount to anything. And if it is the boost Meredith needs to get moving in Dereks direction...so be it! That may be what she needs. I was really disappointed in Chistina. She could have talked to Derek and reassured him and she could have reassured Meredith about Derek. I think she is so wrapped up in her own self that she doesn't see that Mer really needs her now. Hopefuly, Meredith will find her way on her own to Derek. I can't wait for that to happen! I truly think it will! I also loved the part when Izzie helped the guy in surgery, calming him down and what he said about Derek and his eyes, I felt so sorry for Der. I love that the chief is living next to Derek....next week looks fun too!.
Loved the epsiode!
Also, I read where GREY'S won for total viewers last night @ 9 beating CSI for the 1st time this season and won for the (18-49 demo group) as well! Way to go GA! We Are Back!!!!!!!!

Hahn and Sloan are the next it couple of Grey's. Hahn is not drop dead gorgeous, but she is smart and a challenge for our boy Sloan. I can't wait to see who will be the aggressor in this pairing ,(especially in the bedroom!!) LOL

I agree with "andyouvegothehair" with what they said about Mark and Hahn. I can so see that happening and in fact, I am kind of hopping that the writers will explore that some more. I like Mark and I am starting to like Dr. Hahn(but she should work on not being so icy).
