Oh PULEEEZZEE...ABC/Shonda Rhimes and Touchstone knew this cover was being shot for TV Guide. They totally cleared it to be released. We are not stupid, so it's totally disturbing that you would act like this is news. If ABC does not want the "spoiler" out, then they will not have Justin and Elizabeth do a photoshoot for the cover. It's as simple as that. The actors are under contract and cannot go against the wishes of the producers and creators of the show.

You are SOo right. This is just one of many marketing ploys to boost the ratings. This just confirms what I've said before about Shonda/ABC. They have NO REGARD FOR THE FANS. They really believe the fans are stupid. And that people will watch no matter how bad the writing is. This is not news. It was mentioned (4) months ago that Ava was coming back and that she was in talks with ABC to determine the # of episodes.
I have always wanted her back. She and Alex are perfect together. Just Love them. She is a woman of substance, which is what Alex needs right now.

ok, so i just finished watching the new epi. gotta say it was pretty amazing and the scene at the end w/ izzie and alex made me cry. i knew it all along, he's so not over her. anyhoo, if you watched the preview at the end, you'll see a halloween episode, where we had the guy with the wrong foot wanting an amputation, ellis grey, mcdreamy "dating" again (oh saw that coming too) and --- AVA. Obviously, its a halloween "scared you" episode where its probably not even real. sooo... im not gunna get too worked up over it. (although, i'll admit, they had me scared for a sec when i heard "i need to start dating again!")

in case anyone has forgotten, let me remind all of you of a certain episode from an older season.
denny died. who didn't forget that? why then is it so hard to remember who came and scooped a sobbing izzie from his bed and comforted her most when she needed a friend. like it or not, alex and izzie belong together. sure the alex/addison storyline rendered milded interest and even some fan support. alex/ava...eh, not so much. but while everyone is busy getting caught up in story of the two on the cover, im holding out for alex and izzie. he brought her tissues after she made a complete fool of herself. while he may be disapproving of her promiscuity (or perhaps just suffering a blow to his ego that she passed up her chance with him for george) it's undeniable that their relationship is still meaningful to him.
