Sandra Oh, Alexander Payne Officially Divorce

One of the most prominent members of the Grey's Anatomy cast, Sandra Oh, has finalized her divorce with Sideways writer-director Alexander Payne.

Oh, 36, and Payne, 46, were in a relationship for five years, including two years of marriage. They married on January 1, 2003 and separated in 2005.

Although their marital status officially ended on December 22, the former couple took more than two years to settle their finances.

In March 2005, a spokeswoman for the actress confirmed that Sandra Oh and Alexander Payne had "mutually decided to separate."

Added the rep: "They have been together for five years and were married in [January] 2003. The couple will remain friends."

Sandra Oh filed for divorce the following month in Los Angeles Superior Court. According to her filing, the Grey's Anatomy star was seeking spousal support. In his divorce response, Payne sought to deny those payments.

It was the first marriage for both; they had no children together.
