Lauren Stamile to Guest Star on Grey's Anatomy
Lauren Stamile (of the WB's Off Centre) has landed what is being described as "a major recurring role" on Grey's Anatomy, according to TV Guide.
Specifically, she'll be appearing opposite Patrick Dempsey, though sources won't confirm whether or not she will play an object of McDreamy's affections. Perhaps another McSister? The hospital is getting crowded with sisters and lovers. We're interested in seeing what the writers have in mind for Lauren Stamile.
Stamile, 31, is a 1998 graduate of Northwestern with a degree in Theater. In addition to Off Centre, she has appeared in over two dozen films and shows.

Hmm! the woman is beautiful but she better be one of derek's sisters. shonda shouldnt even think about pairing derek with anyone else. Honestly Shonda better not mess up this season because we kind of giving her a second chance after last season. I say dont underestimate the power of fans Shonda and stop testing our patience, its not remotedly fun.
*sigh* I feel much better after that.

They have been searching high and low for someone to play Derek's sister Kathy. Judging from this picture she could play a Shepard. She also looks like she could have the additude that Nancy had. But we will have to wait and see. Kathy told Nancy that Meredith wasn't even single wonder where she got that little piece of information. I hope Shonda doesn't make that a sad reality because we've been through that already.

I've read somewhere [watch out, spoiler] that Derek's sister Kathy would visit Seattle Grace. I thought she was some kind of psychiatrist or shrink, and that Derek asked her to help Meredith deal with her probs and stuff.

we have seen only two episodes of the new grey's but to tell u the truth i am getting really worried. There are so many negative comments, and it kind of feels like critics are waiting for the show to go down.
I am not sure what shonda thinks she is doing but i dont like it. Where the hell did she come with an idea such as *sex and mockery* seriously? if one thing it potrays mer as cheap, what now she is only interested in sex?
Its either Shonda is out to annoy and further test people's patience (which by the way is testing mine) or cant be bothered anymore.
I am also getting seriously worried about the ratings thus far. Last week it was 20 million viewers and this week it turned out to be 18 mil, which is not good at all.

yes, the hair! she does look like a sister of derek. but i think she could also be a good character of love intrest for him. merideth needs to realize what she has for real, before he "walks away" which i doubt will happen any time soon but you never know...

I always thought Derek was just a tiny bit creepy. The way he was always starin and leerin after meredith in season two. Now he's actin like a stalker runnin after her like a drug addict. I just thought eeeww. The way he was kissin her last week creeped me out. I think meredith needs someone fresh

I really think she could be McDreamy's sister.Maybe she will like Meredith(unlike Nancy),help her with her "severe emotional limitations" and they could even become friends or something...

I just hope this is her. She is sooooooo insanely pretty!!! Totally seein her as a female version of McDreamy.

I somewhat agree with scared. I am so tired of the Mer/Der story....she needs someone new. She has relationship issues anyway...and then the one man she meets & falls for....she finds out he never told her he was married......then when she meets the wife, she begs him to pick her, which he doesn't... then when she tries to move on, he's up her "you know what" all over again......GET OVER IT ALREADY!!!! Give Meredith a man who will be honest, love her for who she is, accept who she is, and let's please move on.

Well, I miss Addison, such a great woman and they need a foil for Bailey, who is not an attending. However, like all the other romantics (& there are some who are not), the show was set up with Mer/Derand given that they have tortured Mer to the point its hard to watch (been upping the ante from the Hello Kitty bandage to the inane morphine speech, tacky wedding speech, the endlessly walking away man, the family (and to my way of thinking, the slightly boring at this point abandonment issues)). It's almost sadistic.
So, if she's the new love interest, I think I finally would not be able to watch any more much as I like the other characters. Too painful.
