Even after the tormented O'Malley finally came clean in the closing moments of "Let the Truth Sting," many fans are surely wondering what the heck going on with George and Izzie on Grey's Anatomy? Are they breaking up or not?
Even super-sleuth Michael Ausiello of TV Guide is confused. He writes on the subject. Follow the jump for a Grey's Anatomy spoiler (or two) ...
Michael writes: "I honestly don't know what to believe. After my interview with Shonda Rhimes at the Emmys, I thought for sure she was pulling the plug on this ill-conceived romance. But yesterday I got an unconfirmed tip that Gizzie is still alive and kicking in Episode 8. That's right. Episode 8 of Season 4!
That means we've got at least five more weeks of these two! The mole also reports that in the same episode, Mer and Der are still going strong with their whole "let's have sex but not be super serious" thing. Which is good... or bad?"

Super-sleuth? LMAO, the guy is constantly wrong and knows nothing. Shonda never said they were over, she said a lot of people don,t like them (and we also know a lot of people love them a lot) and that the others would have bad reactions, and he jumped on that to say they were over, not that bright, is he? Of course, all the haters wanetd to believe them and this became something official when it was rumors.
I for one adore Gizzie, they are the reason that I watch, so I hope he is right FOR ONCE.

Sex and mockery is disgusting and I am finding myself not liking MerDer at all anymore.
George and Izzie, I love and adore, so I hope he is right, but with his track record, who knows?

MerDer, sure, I want them to be together. They were cute together and Derek loves Meredith, but Meredith doesn't know how to love...off track here. You've got to learn to not expect MerDer together because of this. If they're really meant for each other they'll find their way back to each other.
Now, as for George and Izzie being together, I am totally for it. I don't get why so many people despise them. I think they're cute together - there's an old saying "you can't help who you fall in love with" - that would be the case for Izzie. You can tell she's had feelings for George for a while. He's always been there, before and after Alex and Denny. Izzie's been hurt previously, and so has George. Olivia hurt him by giving him syph...and sleeping with Alex. Meredith hurt him with the sad & tragic sex, and Callie has hurt him by screwing Sloan. AND breaking up with him at one time.
And yet they've been there for each other during these times, and others.
Now, don't give me that "they're like brother and sister!" crap. They are _not_ like brother and sister.
Brothers and sisters don't make out in elevators (unless they're incest). A sister doesn't grab her brother by the shirt and say "I just need some sex George, ya know, I need sex NOW!"
Even though that was season two and George had a huge crush on Meredith whilest Izzie was stuck being a loner...'till Denny anyway.
Wow, there'd be less controversy and such if Denny would have stayed alive.
Anyways, off track. Yeah, all in all, O'Mizzie/Gizze/Leorge (o_O) haters, put yourself in their shows and just think about it...
...I need a life since I just got so serious about a damn TV show.

the more episodes go by, the more i hate george and izzie and im so on team callie. she's such a sweet person, izzie is whiny and selfish and couldnt care less about callie's feelings, george is spineless and annoying as well..i know this website is for neverending "gizzie" fans but i just wanted to break the consensus and give my opinion..shonda wants us to love her favourite couple gizzie but i dont and never will..in the last episode, izzie showed her true selfish colours, im happy that at least george had the nerve to tell her that ending a marriage isnt just saying "sorry babe it's over, im hitting the sack with izzie now". izzie has been acting like a brainless blonde lately, i find that sad.
shonda must hate callie like you all here, callie is a nice person but no one treats her accordingly,as from spoilers, she's getting fired and gizzie will live happily ever after...too bad..

I'm sorry but I can't stand Izzie because she is wrong for cheating with a married man!!! I know Callie probably won't fight her but I hope Izzie gets fired because she is not half the doctor Callie is!!! I like Callie and I hope she dumps George because he isn't all that anyway! I think Callie should get with Mc Steamy because to me his way better than George!!!!

Gizzie? until Episode 8? thats so much! Well I don't know. Personally I don't like the chemistry. They have bad lines, Izzie and George. It's not instant chemistry. That's why I don't like them, and because Gizzie has begun to destroy the character of Izzie, and made her into this stupid woman with no principle, who does surgeries on deers. Not too credible. I hope that she can make Gizzie good. because right now Gizzie is not a good couple, and many people disagree with the chioce of having George and Izzie sleep together, which is a bit hard to believe for me too, But that's okay. I can take that. However, Gizzie has very bad lines and conversation, Shonda hasnt done such a good job in making it be more credible, and romantic and LOVABLE by the audience. I don;t know if thats her intention, but I doubt it. I hope something good can come out of Gizzie though. The good thing about Gizzie is that I've come to like Callie a lot more than I used to in the beginning and it would also be really nice to see Christina and Callie sort of rely on each other since both their husbands, or soon to be husbands left them, and since they were asked for marriage at the same time.
