Ellen Pompeo Given NIAF Special Achievement Award
The lovely Ellen Pompeo attended the 32nd annual National Italian American Foundation Gala in Washington, D.C. and received a NIAF Special Achievement Award in Entertainment for her portrayal of Dr. Meredith Grey.
She joined director Martin Scorsese at the gala, as well as Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi and Mary Margaret Valenti, the widow of Jack Velenti (president of the Motion Picture Association of America).

did she cut her hair? It looks like she did. It's probably just waves in her hair that make it look short.
