The George/Izzie thing is very sad. Izzie is for Izzie. And George is not the man I thought he was.

I am probably the only person on the planet who likes Izzie and George together, but really, more than them getting together, I just want it resolved in some way. He needs to choose one or the other. Or neither- I have a suspicion that he will break up with Callie, but he won't get together with Izzie. Izzie aside, he rushed into marrying Callie because, as he said, his dad had died, and she loved George, and she loved his family, and they loved her. And has George ever actually said to Callie, "I love you?" I haven't found a scene where he has, or I've been completely brain dead when watching. He's danced around it every time. He didn't even say it when he proposed to her. He said, "I feel better with you around." And I think that was the point of what Mama Burke said to him, that staying with Callie out of a sense of obligation is not a way to live, and more importantly, not a way to love. And I think the underlying message was that, most importantly, it's not fair to Callie, either.
This was one of the best episodes in a long time. I really liked it.

i think it's hard to deal with family issues... we all want to see mer get better, move on from daddy issues.. but realistically, it doesnt work like that. family issues stick with you all ur life. in school you hide behind the book but now mer is working, and there's this perfect man for her that she knows is perfect, but she just doesnt know how to take the step but that step means she's setting herself for the fall... and when they falls, it's going to break her, not damaged, but break her beyond coming back..
so growth is good. but i find grey's so serious these days.. scenes with bailey and alex are so few to balance out the rest..

Here's part of the Quote at the end. I always write them down. I missed some of it tho - so if anyone out there knows it complete - please post.
"The thing about addiction is it never ends well - (this is the part i missed here) - Still they say you dont kick the habbit until you hit rock bottom, but how do you know when you are there? - because no matter how bad things get, sometimes, letting it go hurts even worse"
