Ok Alicia how do you know that George is a great kisser? Give me a break! Your forgetting that during all that history that you Gizze fans are popping off is that during most of that time Izzie was supposed to be so in love with Denny, now I will agree that I thought Izzie has had a thing for George every since Callie came in the picture, but what about Denny. Wasn't he supposed to be the love of her life. I mean I don't really even like Izzie anymore because of all this. And I agree George used to be funny but know he is all depressed all the time. I'm sick and tired of watching him and Izzie give each other these long I'm so in love looks. I enjoyed both of their characters more in season one.
And I 100% stand beside my choice of McDreamy over George.
And I totally seriously miss Burke already.

How do I know george is a great kisser? Because didn't you see that elevator kiss? The way their faces just meet and their lips touch with their eyes close and they sort of lean into each other and then his hand goes tenderly on her neck and sort of caresses it. I just about died, that was one of the most sensuous thing I ahd ever seen and Izzie's face when George breaks it off shows just how much she was into it, her face is all red and she is all breathless.
I have seen even people who don't like them say that kiss was one hot moment. Just take a look at the number of times it has eben put on Youtube and the comments on it, I am def. not the only one who thinks he is a good kisser.
I liked Burke, too bad Isaah had to be an ass, because I loved Burke and George's friendship, I did hate how he ried to control ristina so much and change ehr. To me, that was abusive.
I hate Derek, I hate how he won't forgive Mark no matter how hard Mark tries. I hate that he called Mer a whore after dumping her. I hate how he makes that girl in the bar comment to Lexie right in front of Mer who he knows is insecure.
I do love Derek as a doctor. He is sweet and caring and gorgeous in those scenes. But I hate Derek the so-called McDreamy who treated two of my favorite female characters like dirt.
I think Izzie loved Denny, but I think she loves George more and I think George is her soulmate. She never said Denny was the love of her life. She loved him deeply but they did not really know each other and who knows what would have happened if he lived.
I don't think she loved him as much as she loves George.

I think Izzie loved Denny deeply, but he died and she had to move on, and I believe she has always been a bit in love with George. I loved Denny and Izzie, I do love george and Izzie more.
As for MerDer, they are the main couple, noone is denying that. But there can be two great couples on this show, why the competition between the two group of fans? I love both and I think they both bring a lot to the show.
Those ship wars get a bit irritating.

I'm no longer going to waste my time talking about George and Izzie. No one is going to change my mind about them and I'm sure I'm not going to change anyone elses. But, I will give them this, maybe they are becoming bigger the Mer/Der cuz it seems like everyone here is just talking about them. I'm still not a fan though. I don't really even like Mer/Der the best. I watch the show for Christina and Alex, hopefully they will get some good stories this year. I wish Burke would have stuck around.
And Alicia I agree with you about Derek, it pisses me off that he doesn't forgive Mark too, but I think that they're going to mend their friendship this year since Burke is gone.

Wow, so much comments, but given those are the two most-talked about couples on the show, I am not that surprised. BTW, I am an O'Stevens (George and Izzie, do not like the Gizzie nickname) and MerDer fan, love them both and want them to be happy. I feel privileged to have two couples that I love so much. George and Izzie were a beautiful surprise to me, I was shocked at what a great couple they make and how much they could love one another. Breaks my heart but in a good way.

Derek and George should never be compared. They are completely different. Derek is dreamy and sexy and George is cute. That is not an insult either! The thing is ya can't change who ya are so dramatically. They're tryin to turn George into mcstud and he so isn't meant to be that! He's supposed to be cute like a puppy. Not the one who gets all the hot girls. KNOW YOUR ROLE!
Happy to hear the Derek stil loves Meredith, hopefully that means she is going to return the feeling, by the preview I saw tonight, she looked ready to fight for him. I think that Meredith and Derek need to stop forcing the relationship and just let their love work everything out. Still can't stand Izzie and George. Think that the friendship was ruined and really be hard to get back, because even if they get together it won't stick and then what.

I am not a big Gizzie fan but I am a huge George and Izzie fan separately. I hope that they mend their indiscretions and get on to more interesting story lines. If you look at the overall themes of this show it really strongly reflects how sexually repressed Americans are and in being so how obsessed they are with SEX at all times. It is sad how a platonic relationship like Gizzie could not have been just left alone. I hope that Derek gets some more interesting plot twists and more air time since P.Dempsey is great to watch as an actor and needs more exposure on the show (sorry to P.D. for wanting him to work more!). I am not going to watch Private Practice since it so far looks like a weak attempt to capitalize on G.A. success. I will miss K.Walsh but so be it. Hopefully the new season will be lighter and more interesting with better plots and better medical moments. My interest in the show did wane last year.....I did buy Season 3 but have not even opened it yet, whereas, with the Season 1 DVD I could not wait to watch the extra stuff. So here is to more McDreamy, less Mer whining, more medical drama and less emphasis on sex (as if that will happen in the repressed starving for it U.S.! lol thanks to the religious right)

George and izzie are amazing, they have true love. They are so much more than about physical appearances and it is sad that some people seem to be stuck into physical appearances. Hot girls do get with guys that are not the definition of studs. Look at katherine heigl's real-life fiance or Ellen Pompeo's one. They are not McSteamy or McDreamy, but they have so much more going for them. Josh is funny, talented, can cook and is an amazing guy.
So hot girls are suppose to go only with hot guys? what a shallow, limited view of the world.
IMHO, George is hotter than Alex or Mark any day.
Alex and Mark have hot bods, but not much substance to go with.
George is the sensitive, funny, caring amazing guy and I have to tell you, girls are drawn to that. The bad boy with a heart of gold cliche wears out real fast.

Who is trying to turn George into a McStud? He is a great guy (not to mention after seeing the elevator kiss, a wonderful kisser), who wouldn't fall in love with a cute, sweet funny guy like him? I know I would fall in love with him in a second.
Give me George over Derek, Alex and Mark combined any day?
And seriously, not all relationships are based on physical, George and Izzie have the emotional and physical connections, which makes them all the mroe special.

Just watching the new Grey video and in that scene where George and Izzie are on the couch, smiling at each other, Izzie,s smile is so beautiful. I love that just being around George makes her light up like a Christmas tree, talk about love, aww!

I must be one of the few (if not the only one) who is so sick & tired of the Derek/Meredith storyline. They both need to move on!!! After flipping a lamp on again & off again so many times, the bulb finally blows.
I really do miss Addison....I didn't care who she was with....she was one of my favorite characters & Kate Walsh is one of my favorite actresses.

Derek loves Meredith. Yes we all know (we can see it from his charming eyes which keep saying "i love u so much" every time he sees mer). But does Meredith feel the same way towards Derek?? I mean.. I know she loves him .. or maybe loved him... but I just cant see it in the last few episodes. Where is the woman who told the guy he loves "Pick me. Choose me. Love me." I want that woman back!!!
