JHmm, did I miss something, where did Shonda say Gizzie was over? She said they weren't the love story of the century, which she has said before by the way, and we know they are not because of the circumstances. That doesn,t mean they are not in love or that they will be over. She also said a lot of people didn't love them, which we know, but the fact is a lot of people love them too, me included.
Right now, they are the main reason I watch this show.
Their chemistry is amazing and they have me beleving they are totally and completely in love.
So what if other characters think they are wrong for each other, that doesn't mean they are or that they won't get together, just that things won't be easy for them, which we never thought they would be.

And those comments on Gizzie? she made the same comments exactkly a few weeks ago and Aussiello made the same death certificate comment back then.
Dear Assiello is losing touch, he is reposting things he has already been told weeks before as brand-new spoilers even though she has really given him nothing.
So Derek loves Meredith, does that tell me if they will be together and happy? No, he loved her in the finale and she walked away.
Gizzie is not the love story of the century? Who is on this show? Doesn't change the fact that their love is the real deal however messy and difficult and complicated it might be. And the other characters will have a problem with this? What a shock...NOT!

You should check the Grey anatomy section on Fanforum and and the george and Izzie fan thread just reached his fifthieth thread. The only other couple to have more is Meredith and Derek aand they only have one thread more. They are also second to them only in the number of fans, we have 222 people posting there and they live and breathe george and Izzie there.
So why don't you stop posting Aussiello's speculations on things Shonda had already told us as facts? It does nothing for your credibility

But what, does this make the second or third time Aussiello swear they are over even though it has nothing but his take on Shonda's words to back him up, and nothing else. Maybe he thinks it saying it all the time will make it true.
If anything, this revealed him as the hack he really is. He has no spoilers or sourfces on his own and has to rely on what he thinks Shonda's words mean. I find it hard to understand why a site like you would take speculations from someone, speculation about someone else,s words, as spoilers, except if you guys want to believe it because it fits with what you want to hear. If that is the case, it is pretty sad.

Okay first off, I'm so glad that Derek isn't going to go off and sleep with Meredith's sister. That is one of the only things that would turn me off this next season. The only other thing is if George and Izzie DON'T happen. These two make the show for me. I've been wanting it to happen since season one and just because a lot of people aren't sold on it, doesn't mean she should change the plan.

Ooh, this is one of my favorite George and Izzie photos. They look so angsty and sad and conflicted. That scene showed just how in love those two are, heartbreaking!

but actually I think the younger audience is the one who likes gizzie and the older audience (in their 20s and 30s) are against it..it's simply because the younger audience prefers drama and romeo and juliet style romance which is completely fine but they also often disregard the importance of credibility. personally i had to close my eyes when they showed izzie and george kissing, i loved, absolutely loved their friendship and ruining that was unforgivable for me. HOWEVER, from an objective point of view, gizzie should have NEVER happened because of how shonda portrayed the story of denny and izzie. it is just IMPOSSIBLE to be so in love with one person at one moment and crazy in love with another the next..in that case Derek could also change his mind all of sudden and realise he actually is hopelessly in love with lexie..how about that?

I cannot speak for the other Gizzie fans, but I know that I want Shonda to follow her vision and to give us the original story and not to change all her plans to please the haters. I would feel that way even if I hated Gizzie because if she starts changing her stories every single time there is some backlashm, the haters will come to control the show. Both my parents in their 50s, four of my dad's adult students, my grand-mother, who is 80, my girlfriend who is 32 and myself, age 33, love George and Izzie. The only person I know offline who doesn,t love them is my 16-year old cousin.
Someone posted the ages of the George and Izzie fans on one of their fansites and many were in their late 20-s and thirties.
And the George and Izzie fans I know are the most mature, smart people I know. They recognize george and Izzie's flaws and the fact they are in the wrong here. They hate the affair, but they believe that an unhappy marriage is worse than following your heart and being with the person you love.
The Gizzie fans are not the ones who constantly bash other fans and call them all kind of names or that goes into the George and Izzie FAN videos on Youtube to post nah, nah, nah, they are over or call their fans a group of idiots.

Well, I am a 36-year old huge George and Izzie fans. I actually think it is totally possible to be in love with two people at the same time, and I think it was the case with Izzie. Denny was the tragic Romeo and Juliet story. He was deathly sick and really a prince of a guy and compared to Alex, who is a total ass, he seemed like the perfect guy, so of course she fell for him. But she never really knew him, which she pointed out when he asked her to marry him.
Would they have lasted if he had lived? I am not that sure.
Even when Denny was alive, she had a tendency to obsess with everything George-related. In fact, she had three words coming out of her mouth back then: Denny, George and Callie. I remember an entire conversation with Denny she spend talking about George, how bad Meredith had hurt ehr George, and how her George had changed and was not the same and how Callie was taking George away from her. Denny had the most peculiar expression on his face when she kept talking about George. And then there was the awful fight they had in front of the divorce lawyer and her telling Gorge that only people who loved each other fighted like that. The emotional love and connection was there way back then. The missing George, the wanting him near her, all that started when Denny was alive.
And I am talking about personal experience here. I had a boyfriend I loved very very much, and he died. I had a best friend that meant the entire world to me, like george did to izzie, and though I loved my boyfriend a lot, I can tell you I always had problems with every woman my best friend dated (sounding familiar?). When Michel died, my boyfriend, I was a mess and my friend Simon helped me through it. He helped me survive, and it took me a little time to realize it, but I had fallen for him and truth is, maybe I had always been a bit in love with him.
We are now together and very happy. That does not mean I didn't love Michel. I loved both.
And I believe Izzie has always been a little bit in love with George. Noone can make her smile like he does and she has never looked at anyone like she looks at him, Denny included.
Also you would love to know that shrinks say that someone who has really been in love and lost someone can fall in love very deeply again and it usually happen in the year following their partner's death.
It happened with me and with my grand-mother. She fell in love deeply two times.
BTW, my grand-mother, aged 89, is also a big George and Izzie fan. So before speaking, check out your facts and don't make generalizations about a group of fans.

Please tell me this means NO MORE GEORGE AND IZZIE! I cannot stand it, it makes them both so depressed. I don't think George has smiled since they slept together, I miss the old George. And how can I support someone who intentionally goes after another woman's husband, I used to like Izzie but she has alot of ground to make up with me.
Happy for Derek and Meredith, just hope Derek will stop acting like a dad to her and go back to the way he used to be.
Is it just me or did everyone seem extremely depressed last season, hopefully this one will be funnier!

i thought the same thing as some of the commenters above when i read what shonda said about mer/der, that derek may love meredith but that won't make a difference if mer can't step up and get over her "intimacy issues". i love mer/der so i hope they work it out this season!
i read a portion of an alleged grey's script online for the upcoming season that includes a scene relating to gizzie. if you don't want to know, stop reading now!
apparently when izzie says to george in the stairwell, "i said i love you and not one word back?" george replies, "i love.....my wife, izzie. i love my wife." however, in this episode callie already knows that izzie and george slept together, and before she finds out that george says he loves her, not izzie, she sleeps with alex in an on-call room.
i don't know if it's true, but it sure will be interesting to find out!

Spoilers stated that someone is suppose to say I love you too. At first they were saying George to Izzie but I'm wondering if they got it wrong. We may get lucky and Meredith will say it to Derek. If they are putting an end to Gizzie it would be silly for him to say it unless he does say it to Callie instead. But we will have to wait and see. Only 8 more days.
I think Shonda made these comments because of the interview with Patrick Dempsey in this week's TV Guide. I was very surprised that PD said he thinks Derek needs to move on from dating co-workers. He even joked about Derek and Cristina hooking up. Mainly he was talking about his difficulties last season with MerDer doing the same things over and over, and not going forward or having any depth in their relationship--the same complaints we fans had. I just think Shonda is trying to ressure fans that no matter what else they are hearing, Meredith and Derek are not over by any means.

And the George and Izzie fans I know are the most mature, smart people I know. They recognize george and Izzie's flaws and the fact they are in the wrong here. They hate the affair, but they believe that an unhappy marriage is worse than following your heart and being with the person you love.
The Gizzie fans are not the ones who constantly bash other fans and call them all kind of names or that goes into the George and Izzie FAN videos on Youtube to post nah, nah, nah, they are over or call their fans a group of idiots.
So tell me who is immature in the two?

Well, I am a 36-year old huge George and Izzie fans. I actually think it is totally possible to be in love with two people at the same time, and I think it was the case with Izzie. Denny was the tragic Romeo and Juliet story. He was deathly sick and really a prince of a guy and compared to Alex, who is a total ass, he seemed like the perfect guy, so of course she fell for him. But she never really knew him, which she pointed out when he asked her to marry him.
Would they have lasted if he had lived? I am not that sure.
Even when Denny was alive, she had a tendency to obsess with everything George-related. In fact, she had three words coming out of her mouth back then: Denny, George and Callie. I remember an entire conversation with Denny she spend talking about George, how bad Meredith had hurt ehr George, and how her George had changed and was not the same and how Callie was taking George away from her. Denny had the most peculiar expression on his face when she kept talking about George. And then there was the awful fight they had in front of the divorce lawyer and her telling Gorge that only people who loved each other fighted like that. The emotional love and connection was there way back then. The missing George, the wanting him near her, all that started when Denny was alive.
And I am talking about personal experience here. I had a boyfriend I loved very very much, and he died. I had a best friend that meant the entire world to me, like george did to izzie, and though I loved my boyfriend a lot, I can tell you I always had problems with every woman my best friend dated (sounding familiar?). When Michel died, my boyfriend, I was a mess and my friend Simon helped me through it. He helped me survive, and it took me a little time to realize it, but I had fallen for him and truth is, maybe I had always been a bit in love with him.
We are now together and very happy. That does not mean I didn't love Michel. I loved both.
And I believe Izzie has always been a little bit in love with George. Noone can make her smile like he does and she has never looked at anyone like she looks at him, Denny included.
Also you would love to know that shrinks say that someone who has really been in love and lost someone can fall in love very deeply again and it usually happen in the year following their partner's death.
It happened with me and with my grand-mother. She fell in love deeply two times.
BTW, my grand-mother, aged 89, is also a big George and Izzie fan. So before speaking, check out your facts and don't make generalizations about a group of fans.

Please tell me this means NO MORE GEORGE AND IZZIE! I cannot stand it, it makes them both so depressed. I don't think George has smiled since they slept together, I miss the old George. And how can I support someone who intentionally goes after another woman's husband, I used to like Izzie but she has alot of ground to make up with me.
Happy for Derek and Meredith, just hope Derek will stop acting like a dad to her and go back to the way he used to be.
Is it just me or did everyone seem extremely depressed last season, hopefully this one will be funnier!
Love Alex and Christina, hopefully they will have some good story lines.

i thought the same thing as some of the commenters above when i read what shonda said about mer/der, that derek may love meredith but that won't make a difference if mer can't step up and get over her "intimacy issues". i love mer/der so i hope they work it out this season!
i read a portion of an alleged grey's script online for the upcoming season that includes a scene relating to gizzie. if you don't want to know, stop reading now!
apparently when izzie says to george in the stairwell, "i said i love you and not one word back?" george replies, "i love.....my wife, izzie. i love my wife." however, in this episode callie already knows that izzie and george slept together, and before she finds out that george says he loves her, not izzie, she sleeps with alex in an on-call room.
i don't know if it's true, but it sure will be interesting to find out!

Spoilers stated that someone is suppose to say I love you too. At first they were saying George to Izzie but I'm wondering if they got it wrong. We may get lucky and Meredith will say it to Derek. If they are putting an end to Gizzie it would be silly for him to say it unless he does say it to Callie instead. But we will have to wait and see. Only 8 more days.

I think Shonda made these comments because of the interview with Patrick Dempsey in this week's TV Guide. I was very surprised that PD said he thinks Derek needs to move on from dating co-workers. He even joked about Derek and Cristina hooking up. Mainly he was talking about his difficulties last season with MerDer doing the same things over and over, and not going forward or having any depth in their relationship--the same complaints we fans had. I just think Shonda is trying to ressure fans that no matter what else they are hearing, Meredith and Derek are not over by any means.

Wow Wow Wow, i am so very happy that Der/Mer will be togeather finally, of course there will be bunps but true love will come though and she loves him, remember when she died and was speaking with Denny he told her that Dereck would not come back he would never be able to love the way he loves her and she said she need to be with Derek and that she could not die. That is true love so Shondra will let them have there happy ever after becuase they want it and we need it. As for George and Izzie that story really does not work for me, yes she may love him but it is not the same as being in love.She is confused becuase he has been with her from the start. You can mistake friendship for love, when you are lonley and only have that one special person. GO MER/DER can't wait for the new season. der/mer all the way
