um ok first of all whoever said that this weeks previews showed ava's husband punching alex was wrong because it wasnt the same guy and he was talking about losing his son and everyone knows ava had a baby girl... i cant wait for her to come back!! it was so cute in the premiere when he told cristina that he misses rebecca (i prefer ava but its her either way so yay) .... and then also that he drove to where ava lived but didnt get there... i read that she should be coming back around episode 4 and that her return would be a romantic one so my fingers have been crossed since the finale and hopefully yours have too that she is coming back.. ava and alex forever

I am sorry, but I tend to agree with Anna. If you think siblings joke about having sex with each like Gizzie did in season 2, then you do have a messed up relationship with them. Do you actually go see your brother naked in the shower and joke he has a cute butt? Does your brother have hot shower fantasies of you? Do you give a big flirty smile to your brother when he tells you he would like to do you?
The sibling argument is the stupidest thing ever ehard. It is like one of the haters sued that as an argument and since the other haters didn't know what to say, they all started saying the same thing without even thinking how ridiculous their argument sounded.
George and Izzie have by far the best chemistry on the show and that elevator kiss with them was HOT HOT HOT!

I hate to break it to you Gizzie fans, but something doesn't seem right. Don't think for a second that Shonda is going to let George leave Callie and him and Izzie get together and live happily ever after. Not gonna happen. For everyone who is criticizing the brother/sister argument in regards to Gizzie...grow up. NO ONE is saying that they're brother and sister and that's why they shouldn't be together...or that people who use that argument have sick relationships with their siblings. The only thing being stated, is that George and Izzie have always had a more familial/friends feel than a lover feel. A person can totally flirt with friends of the opposite sex and talk about things like masturbation...or joke about having sex...or whatever without having to be "in love." And, personally, I could care less about whether they become a couple or not, but I've always liked the not-so-serious flirting thing they had. It helped keep things light...and that was ruined with the whole "they have to be in love" just because they flirt. Many people have flirted with members of the opposite sex without "love" involved...
On a more positive note, I just adore the chemistry between Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey...pure genius!! I really hope Mer gets her happiness sometime this season; she has had to deal with a lot of issues that would've broken many people beyond repair by now. But somehow, our girl still has hope.
regarding Lexie...I like her (so far). Except for the totally stupid intro to Mer. And her expecting Mer to just talk to her right away. Everytime family is involved, Mer is kicked in the teeth...developing a relationship with Lexie is not going to come easily, and I don't blame Mer for that. Everytime she tried to form a relationship with her dad, he talked about how great Lexie was...sh*tty thing to do to the daughter he abandoned...talk about the one he didn't...
Lexie's not a bad person, and if the family stuff wasn't involved, I could see Mer being friends with her. Just her luck her name was Grey...
Derek and Mark are becoming friends again...sort of!! that makes me happy!! I can't wait to see how they repair their friendship; Dempsey and Dane play off of each other really well, and have the potential to be extremely hilarious!
Cristina/Alex/Bailey: love them all and am eager to see their storylines develop!

well... additional comments:
i think the worst part of the premiere is the lame excuse the cheif gave bailey for not choosing her... and the way george acts like in the begining.
i totally want mark and derek to be friends they're jst such a great team!! and Derek desperately needs some one to talk to... i mean addison is gone and burke i no longer there...plus mark is hot and derek is hot, hot people shud be friends!!
as i said before alex's facial hair is awesome!!
the best case was i think the deer case... some people hated it bt i think its jst great and i liked what izzie said at the end to her interns about them being duds!! that was soooooo awesome!!
i dont think izzie and george do stand a chance... they're too good at being friends!! and i dont think george can even work up the courge to break-up with callie...
my 2 most favorite parts about the premiere were when alex and Christina talk about rebecca and burke and my second favorite part is when lexi goes to see meredith and derek goes there and calls her, she jst rolls her eyes at lexi and goes with derek!! that was jst sooo freakin awesome :)
all in all it was all good and i cant wait for next week!!

Thank you Just Saying, you said it better than i did, for people getting all worked up and taking everything so literally as to even bashing my relationship with my brother (which is downright comical), i just meant they don't have a lover like thing going. It's more of a friendly bantering than any sexual tension between lovers. More like family as Just Saying says. If you see something more then good. Of course, there are going to face obstacles and opposition and all the work like all the main couples do, and it probably will take all season for them to be together.
To me, George and Izzie have it all, they have the funny banter but they have the angst and the drama and the sexual tension too, plus the emotional connection. They are best friends who love each other and are physicall attracted to each other as well.
I am sorry, but MerDer is boring. If they were not the mian couple, I am sure they would have a lot less people rooting for them. Mer whines all the time, and then they have sex, sex, sex. It gets very boring, and I know a lot of people are getting tired of them.
I found it interesting that the premiere showed MerDer being about sex, and then you compare that to Gizzie who has the emotional connection and the deep loe for one anotheré

Well, since there is a poll on this site about whether people want Gizzie together and the eys option is winning, I think you might be in the minority. I have seens everal of those kind of polls about Gizzie and the people wanting them together seem to be more than the ones not wanting them together, that usually makes someone a minority or maybe you know something I don't.
I know all my friends want them together. I had one who didn't like them but she converted after the premiere.
to be honest...George doenst go well wif Izzie at all..they look like gud friends rather than lovers..i just hate the fact that George repsonded to Izzie...i duno what Callied did to deserve it ..i love the last scene of season 3 when they are at the church and Callie came inside the church and announced to Izzie that shes a Chief Resident and planning to hv a baby...Izzy should know her limits that George is married man, and she is so selfish! damn slefish....i wish Shonda kill of George or Izzie's role next season...maybe put George into failing his 2nd intern exam or Izzie resigned ...lol
